See a Heckler Be Led Out By the Neck During Paul Ryan’s Speech

You have to admire the gumption of liberals who decide to protest conservatives right in the middle of their own turf. Whether it was the protester who tried to shout down Sarah Palin at CPAC, or the man who brazenly rushed the stage while Rep. Paul Ryan was speaking, the simultaneous oversupply of guts and undersupply of self-preservation is quite something to behold.

Now, there’s another person preparing to join this hall of protest fame. Mediaite reports that Paul Ryan was heckled today during his speech at the Values Voters Summit — a gathering that parallels CPAC in political orientation, but which is generally focused more on social issues than on economic issues:

During his Friday afternoon speech before the Value Voters Summit in Washington, D.C., Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan was heckled by a protestor who was promptly escorted off the premises.

As Ryan spoke about critics labeling Republicans “anti-government,” a protestor shouted something mostly inaudible except for the word “corporations.”

When we go to the world currency, pensions and SSI won’t be worth the paper they are written on. This guy probably listened to George Soreass when he bought a $ Billion bucks worth gold last year. Silver is the same way. The only other currency will be bartering for food and services.

Classical economics says profit is a reward for taking risk.
      That’s the America of old

Austrian economics says profits are a right bestowed on anyone who amasses wealth.
      This is modern America.
      And wealth is redistributed upwards.

it’s difficult to educate you in a blog post, especially when you are disinclined to learn.

There are several functions of money but about the only two things a person can do with it is either spend it or save it.

Austrian economics holds that if a person is thrifty and doesn’t spend all their money (blow their whole paycheck), they should get a reward.
That reward is profit. The bigger the savings (wealth) the bigger the reward (profit).
      Government policy supports this view.
This explains why the rich are getting richer; why wealth being concentrated in fewer and fewer hands.
It’s not my theory. If it doesn’t make sense don’t blame me.

Marybeth, saving money creates interest and added income not profit. Profit comes from making money from goods and services. If you don’t have a good product or service yu lose money even if you try and save it. The only time that the rich really seem to get richer is when they stop investing because of the people who want to tax everything they have earned.

When Rand Paul was on Glenn Beck’s program earlier in the week, Mr. Beck referred to this selling out, this abandoning of claimed values that they never really held, as “Working Within The System”.

Supporting Mr. Ryan gets you a budget that may balance in 2040, but there are no details on exactly how even that is supposed to happen.

The intellectual leader of the Republican Party’s only plan is to sell out the American people.

Wait until Owebama wins. This will be the other way around.

The country is beyond repair. I don’t want to call these people my countrymen anymore than they do me. Let’s just secede and end this charade marriage.

Just give WA, OR, and Northern CA to Canada. Oh wait, let’s include New England in the deal, too. That should take care of a good part of our problem. :)

Shoot, Canada doesn’t want them anymore than we do. Except for the loonies in Quebec, the Maritimes don’t want them and I’m sure the western states don’t want their socialism.

BIO, not quite yet on New England. Maine seems to be pulling toward the right after they mess they have been in. Hope they replace both Olympia Snow and Susan Collins with some real conservatives. They coul take a lesson from their governor. But, go ahead and give Canada Vermont. I don’t think there could ever be any reconciliation for that state ever.

You are damn right. They are paid by the DNC to make it look like ordinary citizens are disagreeing with the speaker. They are plants. DNC operatives. Cowards. They only do it in front of a multitude of cameras where they know no one will slap the whipped cream out of them. And, they are practically all snowmen. This is to make it appear that there is friction in the ranks of the TEA party. “See, even the white guys are against them”, they bark.

yes that was excellent…what we need is a stick with a wire collar on it ..much like a dog catchers tool….i mean really…it would be much more sanitary to the handler…who wants to touch a progressive…those hotels they stayed at in sc were infested with bed bugs when that mob left town..

I like that. The collar stick would shut them up and keep the handler at a safe distance from std’s.

They didn’t have him by the neck… It was barely the scruff of his neck.

I’d say it was a fine display of “running the donkey” to the nearest exit.
