Glenn Beck Announces Blaze Action Center At FreedomWorks Ohio FreePAC

Glenn Beck spoke at FreePAC in Ohio Saturday night, revealing a new “Action Center” that transforms the way readers ingest the news.

In the past, he explained, Americans would often read the news and care deeply about the events– but they had nowhere to go with the information. Yelling at the television or shaking your head at an article on the computer accomplishes little, he said.

The solution? Making it as easy as possible for readers to both inform themselves, and take action on the issues they care most about.

At TheBlaze Action Center, readers can research everything from White House staff members to world religions.

But the most convenient tool is likely the one most prominently displayed– a box that lets readers type in their zip code for the contact information of all their elected officials.

In his speech, Beck cited tax increases as an example of when readers can head to the virtual Action Center.

Many readers have strong feelings one way or another over our nation’s tax rates, but are essentially invisible to Washington except for election day.

“Now you need to be able to see a story, and say if I believe in these things, what action steps can I take? So the news becomes a way to inform yourself, and then move things forward,” Beck explained.

A red button that says “Take Action” on the front page of TheBlaze, the Action Center also allows readers to see their elected representatives’ “scorecard” from FreedomWorks.

In just a few short minutes, anyone can see exactly how their representatives are voting, and who is sticking to their campaign promises.

In addition, FreedomWorks has a number of “Action Items” that readers can choose to participate in, dealing with everything from Wisconsin unions to European bailouts.

During his speech, Beck said that he understands that people are busy. Even if you intend to contact your representatives, by the time you track down the relevant information and take care of the rest of your responsibilities, the letter often ends up unsent.

The Action Center is intended to change that, giving readers an efficient way to make their voices heard, however they lean politically.

One woman who attended the event commented on the many ways the Internet and social media are revolutionizing politics.

“Going door-to-door is not my thing,” she said. “I learned how I can use social media to educate my friends and family on the issues. I used to not like to stir the pot, and I’m learning to speak my mind freely.”

We were at the FreePAC event Saturday night and had a great time! The speakers were inspiring, the energy was high, and people were enthusiastic. Not to mention that we conservatives are polite, courteous people, even among 7,000 in a packed room. Josh Mandel was terrific–he was inspiring to our 17-year-old son who attended with us. Glenn had a great message. The thing that was emphasized over and over was to not be afraid or down about polls, what the media says, etc., but to keep working and praying. There are more of us than them!

Great speech, Glenn. What courage to go to Ohio, Illinois, Florida and challenge the main stream media goons. How anyone can continue to watch Brian Williams, Candy Crowley, David Gregory, Diane Sawyer, George S., and the rest is impossible for me to understand. The bias is amazing. Obama could rob a bank, shoot his grandmother, and they’d make excuses for him or blame Romney or Bush. He’s the worst president in the history of this country. At least other presidents, no matter how flawed, loved their country. This guy doesn’t love his country and it’s all too obvious to us un-washed masses of conservatives.

I already used the action center found it to be quite easy. Lets do this we can fight against 100years of progressive indoctrination. If there is one thing I want to leave my kids and grand kids is freedom and independence. (wrote last part for Obama/Biden supporters)

The Freedom Works Bootcamp in Cincinnati was well worth attending. Unlike Obama’s events, this one attracted much more interest than the planners had hoped for, and had to be moved to a bigger location at the Duke Convention center. The room, which holds 7000 people, was entirely packed with a hugely enthusiastic crowd. Matt Kibbe of Freedom Works pointed out that in contrast to the liberals, we conservatives did not have to be paid to come to the event.
Your friendly Pharmer took the whole family for 7 hours well spent. None of the kids were bored, and now they have a better understanding of what their parents have been up to.

The people of Freedom Works and Glen Beck Rocked the House and energized a ginormous group of conservatives to get out the vote

  We conservatives Do get things done as long as we’re given some – any – clear directions.
  
  3-2-1 Conservative Action.com It doesn’t exist but it should.
  
  3 = Three hours per week volunteering. Posting on forums, signing e-petitions, joining gatherings, contacting representatives, etc.
  
  2 = $2 per week (or $20 or $200) donating to a good cause
  
  1 = Speaking out to one person per week in a more direct way than we normally would about conservative ideas
  
  And an open forum where people can post suggestions / opportunities for things we can do for the first two.
  
  GIVE US A LITTLE GUIDANCE and WE GET THINGS DONE!

Thanks Glenn I loved every minute of FreedomPac and the information you gave out which is what I have been doing all along checking vetting each candidate and to be honest I didn’t vote for Mica he is not a conservative we don’t want that stupid Sun Rail but he has been pushing and pushing it among other things we don’t want or need and I saw alot of nasty adds about Sandy Adams and did my homework on her and already kind of knew they were lies but did the fact checking and I know it’s suppose to be politics but I do not like liars no matter whos side their on it just is very distasteful to me and thank you so much for the speacial that you did on Mitt and letting us see a side of him that of course we know the lame media knew about them but purposely omitted them.He is a good,good man as you said he does live his faith and his beliefs I’m proud to say I will be voting for him I didn’t believe all the things that were being said and as far as him being a Mormon never ever deterred me for one moment I have met many of them and they are very gracious,loving and caring people and you are always going to find one or two from every religion that is a little out there as I know of some in the christian faith that I don’t agree with but a good majority of people of faith who do their best as I to live it the best we can not being perfect but trying to be a better person everyday with the help and guidance of our GOD.GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR STAFF AND YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY.

It’s been a tough week. A week where I’ve watched the treachery of the MSM make it all about some obscure cartoonish “film” that none of us saw and was only shown once in America. A “film” that was outed on Arab TV by the rogues who wanted to use it for their political gain. This lie that they’ve told over and over again to obscure the real story, this lie that it’s all about this “film,” is an excuse that’s been behind the OIC’s orchestrated Days of Rage where their intent is to silence us and implement Sharia in all of Western Civilization. It’s not going to work. Because we’re on to them now. We are not going to allow them to override the U.S. Constitution and the 1st Amendment. We will not be silenced.

Got that Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the MSM? We will not be silenced.

We also know that this “film” was not behind the attack on our U.S. Embassy in Libya and the murdering of our U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans there. Moreover, many people even after they have woken up have still acquired yet more things, more property, maybe another spouse. Took my wife to Freepac last night. The last time we saw Glenn was at “The Christmas Sweater” in Cleveland. She showed interest in what she saw and as a previous Sharrod Brown supporter felt that she should vote for Mandel. I understand that this election is more important than any individual issue, but I feel that the Islam issue needs to be more exposed. The Blaze covers this fully, but for this election are we supposed to tone down Tea Party rhetoric? I expressed my belief that only Islam benefitted from this “movie” and that it appeared to be of the quality of known Palestine children shows of anti-American/anti-Israel propaganda. Why couldn’t our Intellegence agencies express the doubt that this was all the work of an Al-Qeada sleeper-cell. It is about time that the US public demand immediate translations from the speeches of the Spiritual as well as the Political leaders of these Theocratic countries and the American people be given the honest choice regarding giving Monetary or Military aid based on this information.

FreePac Cincinnati was just as inspiring as FreePac Dallas.
I attended both and can tell you people are waking up in a big way. I spoke with many people at both who are tired of being quiet about politics. WE will change how things are done and thank you for giving us the right tools in our quest!

Has anyone else checked their rep out on his new site and asked themselves.. “What about the NDAA, Patriot Act, HR347, CISPA, etc.?” You know all the ASSAULTS TO FREEDOM!!! All the stuff I pulled up on my rep had nothing to do with Freedom. You can’t even post information on the law that has taken us back to pre Magna Carta rights!!!!!!!! SHAME SHAME!!!!!!! Can’t even report that both of our ******* candidates think they have the right to kill, torture or throw people away in some dungeon somewhere if they don’t like them? SHAME ON YOU BECK, BLAZE AND FREEDOM WORKS. Change the name of the program to Rah Rah GOP, if the truth actually lives here.

  @Bdansel, How many years have been saying one step at a time, and how’s it working out for you? We will be a full-fledged dictatorship by the end of my daughters generation if we don’t stand up and say hell no when the establishment announces, “the Ayes have it”. There are only 2 senators and 3 congressmen in the entire GOP that don’t HATE the Constitution and the rate it will take to replace the rest is not looking good before it’s too late.

Been looking at the Blaze Action Center; it is interesting, yet as of right now there still seems to be a few bugs in it as of this post. The list of Presidents, I could not get to all of their profiles, or run the list in accordance to party affiliation.

  The actions of Bernanke show he is either insane or diabolical. There are no other possibilities. Seeing and hearing Susan Rice speak about the embassy attacks the other day I was baffled. What she was saying was highly illogical, and displayed a complete disconnect with reality. If she is a liar for Muhammad Obamma that could explain it too I suppose.
