S.E. Cupp to Conservatives: ‘Chill Out’ — Romney Loss Does Not Equal End of GOP
While some conservatives fear another term from President Barack Obama would spell disaster for the United States of America and the Republican Party, TheBlazeTV’s S.E. Cupp advised conservatives on Monday to “calm down” and understand that the GOP is not doomed if presidential nominee Mitt Romney loses the election.
During MSNBC’s “The Cycle” on Monday, Cupp reacted to a widely circulated Politico report that argues the Romney campaign is struggling with infighting and is accused running a “campaign of caution, one that puts all the emphasis not on how good Romney could be but how bad Obama is.”
“First, kudos to Politico,” Cupp said. “This campaign has been notoriously hard to access if you are a journalist not named Fox News.”
“I have a message for my conservative colleagues who seem to be engaging in this circular firing squad: Calm down. Let’s chill out a little bit,” she added. “This is not the end of the party as we know it. We will not be shutting down the party if Romney does not win.”
She went on to say that “a couple bad weeks” on the campaign trail does not speak to the kind of “leadership” failures that have damaged President Obama’s reputation, saying Obama’s nearly four-year presidency shouldn’t be compared to a Romney campaign cycle.
Co-host Steve Kornacki chimed in, saying Republicans will refuse to look in the mirror and change their ways if Obama is victorious in November.
“If you can think back to the last incumbent democrat to seek re-election, that was Bill Clinton in 1996, and the Republican opposition to Bill Clinton in his first term as president was as heated, as intense and as unyielding as the Republican opposition to Barack Obama has been.”
The difference, he said, was that after the GOP lost to Clinton, they “changed” their strategy, something he doesn’t think will happen this time around.

Posted on September 17, 2012 at 6:59pm“IF” Romney loses the election, the GOP won’t matter if we also lose the house and make no gains in the senate.
Whatever else happens in a 2nd Obama term, impeachment proceedings need to go ahead on him and Holder needs to be tried for being an accessory to murder and aiding & abetting drug cartels.
What else? Well, I’d suggest we all move to Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Utah & Oklahoma. This would give us a nice area to defend when the country collapses and civil war breaks out. What leaders and laws they have right now, that we don’t like, we can vote out and change before the SHTF…I hope.

They never say what they really mean, always some plot behind it.
They have brought this image onto their selves…It is no ones fault but their own…
To make change you have to actually start somewhere, and no better election than this one where the country has been on alert for government mishaps and people were awakened. Romney win puts everyone back to sleep. Vote Gary Johnson!!!

Americans will not “chill out” when their freedoms are being taken away from them nor should they chill out. In fact, they should be frieking out. We have gotten to the point where government can prohibit you from digging on the beach, having bible studies in your home, jailing citizens “suspected” of terrorism for an indefinite amount of time, judicial bodies overturning the will of the majority in many U.S. cities, and you have words of advice like “chill out”. This is about freedom. It is about liberty. It is about justice. Those three words affect all people of all parties and all religions. They involve all Americans and are worthy of a massive friek out when in jeopardy. And believe me…..they are in jeopardy….for all Americans…..even the ones with ideas I despise.

The Republican establishment stands between us and re-establishing a Constitutional Republic. … I think the coverage of this convention as I saw it today is both sophomoric and superficial. I think the references to the conservative TEA-party uprising there, of the rules of the Republican establishment, has been awful. It’s been written off as some kind of a Ron Paul kook-event, but it wasn’t, and it isn’t. … The Republican National Committee is an establishment bureaucracy. 4 more years of Obama Economics and we will be Europe, a semblance of a once great country who does nothing but pander to specific groups, classes, races, and genders based on what the “GET”.
Say goodbye to the constitution because Obama will do as he pleases, and the sycophants will go along drinking their Kool-aid all the way.

Posted on September 18, 2012 at 1:38amS.E Cupp is, I fear, not seeing things correctly.
I believe that Romney will lose, and I also believe that no Republican will ever be elected again.
The reason for that is simple math, to wit, 90 percent of Republican votes come from white people. In 1960 white people were 90 percent of the population of the United States. Today the white population is just under 64 percent, and when you consider that 90 plus percent of Blacks, 70 percent of Hispanics and 60 percent of Asians vote Democrat, Romney or any other Republican needs about 60 percent of the white vote, doable, but unlikely.
Young, single white women between the age of 18 and 30 tend to vote Democrat. White gays, mainly because they want to get married, vote Democrat as do 75 percent of Jews and most union members—at least until they can retire and move to a red state with no income tax and become Republicans. All of this makes it hard for any Republican to garner 60 percent of the white vote.
If Obama is reelected, I believe that by 2016 it will be impossible for a Republican to be elected president, because Obama will do all that he can to encourage even more mass immigration, which will likely place—at long last– Texas and Florida firmly in the Democrat column.
The GOP has destroyed itself by encouraging mass third world immigration over the past 40 years, despite the fact that simple math would indicate that said immigration would not redound to their long term electoral benefit.
So yes, the GOP s

Posted on September 18, 2012 at 4:31pmA loss in this election would not be the end of the GOP, it will take a win to destroy the GOP.
Should Romney get elected, it will only be because those who knew better abandoned their principles for the sake of removing Obama.
Romney is a one issue candidate. The issue: Romney is not Obama.
…there are about 5 billion other people about which you can say the same thing; not much of a recommendation.
It took a president as abhorrent as Obama to get anyone who is even mildly conservative to consider voting for Romney.
It takes a candidate as vile as Romney to insure that Obama has any chance at all of winning this election.
Conservatives do not have a candidate running in this election.
Obama wants to destroy this nation; maybe getting Romney into office is how he plans to do it.

Solving problems, encountering obstacles and solving them, CHOOSING to HELP OTHERS vs. being TOLD to do so; FREEDOM to excel ; FREEDOM to say, do, be whatever I want to be. NONE of those things exist in the LIBERAL WORLD. I first noticed that in High School! While we all thought we were being so ‘rebellious’ in our dressing style (we were from our parents) but WE WERE ALL ALIKE!! FREEDOM is something that I’m sure too many people don’t value. FREEDOM is everything. FREEDOM allows you to dream; work on that dream; learn; be creative.

ALL THE WHILE GREAT LESSONS LEARNED. God doesn’t care if we are ‘successful’ by earthly terms or not. HE DOES care if we’ve learned to tell the truth, do what we say we’re going to do and when and have grown out of the “my worth comes from external directions” (what other people say, what stuff I’ve acquired, how I look etc) . Liberals are stuck in the HIGHSCHOOL rebellion phase. They think they are soooooo different, but THEY are all alike. God forbid that someone has another way of doing things. So, no thanks. FREEDOM is way too important to me than to be trapped by people who claim to be “individuals” but are ALL alike (Code Pink Broads for example); People who don’t require individual effort from themselves. Depending upon GOV. is a satanic trap. IT robs us of all our real FAITH; it builds nothing but fat. Posted on September 17, 2012 at 7:18pmHi TRONINTHEMORNING and RJJ too,
I’ve been watching what she’s been doing on MSNBC and my take is that Glenn put her there to upset things. Having a GB employee say that, “I have a message for my conservative colleagues who seem to be engaging in this circular firing squad: Calm down. Let’s chill out a little bit,” she added. “This is not the end of the party as we know it. We will not be shutting down the party if Romney does not win.” only means that she is trying to calm down Dems so they think they are winning and won’t try so hard.
No self respecting Republican watches MSNBC except a few of us here who enjoy the laughs or report the really good stuff to The Blaze to post. She’s a paid GB troll who is there to infiltrate and conquer, fighting fire with fire. And the MSN crowd is eating it up. LOL

Posted on September 18, 2012 at 5:33amI predict that if President Obama wins reelection, there will be four more relatively uneventful years during which nothing much will really change. There will be four more years of conservatives predicting that the country as we know it will not survive another four years of Obama, another three years of Obama, another two years of Obama, another year of Obama. There will be four more years of conservatives claiming that the Republicans lost the last election because they picked a moderate. During the last of those four years there will be a series of Presidential primaries and caucuses in which the Republicans will pick a moderate, because that’s what most republicans are – moderates. The Democrats will also pick a moderate, beginning one to four more years of conservatives claiming that a moderate Democrat is a radical socialist. Finally, despite four years of crazy predictions that there would not be a next election due to some kind of seizure of dictatorial control, there will be an election between the two moderates, the result of which will cause the radical elements of the losing side to predict that the country as we know it is doomed, and nothing much will really change.
