‘Real News From TheBlaze:’ Romney vs. the 47 percent

Last night, with the help of Jimmy Carter’s grandson authenticating a video that was on YouTube for months, Mother Jones released a clip of Mitt Romney speaking at a fundraising event in Boca Raton during which he spoke about the Obama campaign’s appeal to the 47 percent of the country that doesn’t pay taxes and is dependent on government assistance. The story instantly become the dominating force of Monday’s news-cycle with many declaring gloom and doom for Romney’s candidacy.

But could the hysteria surrounding the way Romney described 47 percent of America, remarks that he has since said were “not elegantly stated,” come and go as many slip-ups have for both candidates throughout this campaign and for Barack Obama in 2008? Is there some truth to the supposedly controversial remarks that could backfire for Democrats if they put too much emphasis on the story?

Watch a clip from Tuesday’s “Real News From TheBlaze” discussion on the Mother Jones story and subsequent reaction:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

At what point will you report the missing two minutes of the video?

The 47% only know the Federal Government send them their benefits.
Most don’t have a clue, or even care, which party is responsible.
Looks at the Tea Party – continually voting AGAINST their own best interests.
It’s all dogma. Romney’s ‘enslavement’ nonsense is ALL science fiction.

If you use the current Likely Voter Polls as a guide it fluctuates mid 40s to high 40s, that’s the Obamao Base. They will vote for Obummer to give themselves a raise. That’s the 47% Mitt Romney was talking about. “I will never convince them”. The other 53% are probably with Mitt.

Bottom line the majority of American people are so used to listening to lies from politicians that when they hear the truth spoken they can’t handle it. We are just in a MESS!

Where do you find any truth, in what Romney said about the 47%?

If I were Romney I would proudly hold on to that statement about the 47%. Everyone knows it was a true statement. The democraps are trying to say Romney was insulting a lot of his base because there are Republicans retired and on some assistance involved. I would tell them….”you know who I meant….the serial welfare clowns….the ones who make it their living to stay on the dole for no reason but laziness”. I would own that statement and expound on it.

Then you would make yourself look foolish. Of the estimated 76 million who paid no federal income tax in 2011, 61 percent earned anywhere between $10,000 and $50,000. These people still paid payroll taxes, at an average of around 15% of their earnings, more than Romney paid. So are these the Victim’s Romney can not convince to take personal responsibility of their lives?
