‘Down With the U.S. Imperialists!’: Protestors Attack U.S. Ambassador in Beijing — Here’s What You Need to Know

On his way to the Japanese embassy in Beijing Tuesday, U.S. Ambassador Gary Locke’s car was surrounded and pummeled by anti-Japanese and American protesters. And while the news has been out there today, there’s also been confusing reports. So we decided to comb through it all and present you with what you need to know.

“Embassy officials have registered their concern regarding today’s incident with the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and urged the Chinese Government to do everything possible to protect American facilities and personnel,” the U.S. State Department said in a statement.

Protesters were heard chanting “down with the U.S. imperialists!” and, in what can only be a reference to China’s debtor-creditor relationship with the U.S., “Pay us back our money,” according to dissident Ai Weiwei:

The L.A. Times describes the scene:

The five-minute video shows a black car approaching the embassy and attempting to turn into the gate. As demonstrators surround the vehicle, several dozen Chinese police and uniformed guards rush to the scene. Several water bottles are thrown at the car and one man can be seen banging on the hood of the vehicle.

Security forces intervened quickly and guided the ambassador’s car to safety.

“It was all over in a few minutes, and I never felt in danger,” Locke said, according the L.A. Times.

U.S. and Japanese embassies in Beijing have been targeted in recent weeks by protesters upset over the East China Sea island dispute. Tokyo has taken control of the chain, but China disputes their claim.

Demonstrators believe Tokyo’s bold action has been helped along by the U.S., which probably explains why some of them were chanting: “The U.S. government is the mastermind!”

  @Saff SGT Let’s be clear that repeating a lie does not at any point make it even remotely true. Particularly if you accept Romney’s interpretation of taxes. That is he paid 13% in taxes, which of course includes more than just federal income tax. It included state income taxes, real estate taxes and of course Romney even had the audacity to try and include charitable donations. Even though those are tax deductible. Anyway much of the hard working poor still pay payroll taxes, real estate taxes either directly or indirectly (thru their rent) excise taxes for gas, liquor, cigarettes, etc. sales taxes and of course the flood of government fees that Republicans have increased to offset their tax reductions. Anybody in a community where kids have to pay a fee to be in the high school band or play on the football, basketball, baseball, etc. teams should be ashamed of themselves. You have a generation of people who benefited from well funded public schools, state subsidized college and great infrastructure and now they refuse to pay it forward. Rather sad.

But what is true is that Obama has spent this country into oblivion and placed a debt, not only on us but our children and grand children in an effort to keep America from see that he has no clue on what he is doing. The best thing he does is community organize!   The World Government is almost complete: 1871 under Emergency Powers the North created a Corporation called the “United States”. This was created because of the Civil War.
  1913 the US Corporation was broke and passed the Federal Reserve Act.
  1933 – US Corporation declared bankruptcy. In the bankruptcy the Corporation Deeded the Land, Agencies, Branches and People of the US (as collateral) to the Federal Reserve.

  1944 – The Bretton Woods Agreement which transferred the Deed (collateral) to the IMF and World Bank.
  1945 – The League of Nations was created (UN) to facilitate the IMF and World Bank
  1992 – The same year Agenda 21 was introduced, the IMF minion George H. Bush put America up for Sale.
  There is now, no possible way to pay back $16 Trillion. The Federal Government does not care, they know it is going to collapse into a World Government run by the UN, IMF, World Bank and Nato. There will be no boarders. The new boarders will be airports.
  August 30, 2012 – Obama signed Executive Order which is a back door cap & trade to finance the world government. It is called “Accelerating Investment in Energy Efficiency” It is redistribution of wealth from developed countries to developing countries via Agenda 21. See gulagbound.

I had a feeling, when I saw the Chinese cranking up the tensions over a bunch of unpopulated islands, that they were simply looking for a pretext to start a conflict with the USA and demand instant payment in order to collapse our economy.   They will all show their hand before the election because it is not for 100 percent sure Obama will be able to cheat the election as much as before. They also know IF there is someone in office here in the states who stands behind America after the election, this stupidity will have to stop or there will be dire consequences. They want to be able to gang on people who cannot defend themselves or who have a leader in position who is working against the country he is in. They all know who Obama is and what he is doing, but it seems like Congress does not see it. They do, but they have no backbone. It is time for Congress to earn their money. I say lets hit the “Reset” button. Bring back our manufacturing, use our own natural resources, pull out of the Middle East and let them figure out their own mess (stop funding them). Show our national strength again by never apologizing for who we are and show our support for Israel. Pull out of the IMF and UN and stop this “One World Order” in its tracks. Close the boarders and make everyone come thru the front door again. Go back to the gold standard for our monetary system, get rid of the marxist in D.C. and toss everyone back to their country of origin if they don”t like our constitution and especially our freedom of religion and speech. Return to constitutional law. Get rid of the EPA, Dept of Ed., IRS, Fed… When is enough, enough?

  How can you bring manufacturing back? Pay Americans 50 cents an hour that’s how. Manufacturing is never coming back open a book educate yourself and get a job that can’t be done by an 15 year old kid.
  
  The interent has changed the world lots of jobs can be sent overseas now. It’ll take time for the other countries standard of living to increase greatly so their citizens start demanding higher pay. Until that happens Americans need to learn how to work twice as hard and live on half as much.
  
  Americans are spoiled and lazy. Why pay an American accountant thousands of dollars when you can pay an Indian accountant a few dollars? The end results are the same. H&R Block is using more and more Indian kids to do their work rather than over paid Americans. Even walk in clinics are sending x-rays and lab results to Indian doctors who review them and then give their diagnosis and treatment. Why pay for an overpriced American doctor if it’s not a life or death situation?
  
  Go read “The World is Flat, 3.0″ it will open your eyes to what is coming wealth is being spread out around the world because the middle and lower class citizens in this country are demanding too high of pay. The more spoiled are lower class citizens become the more money will be shipped out of this country.

  The only reason the factories left this country are the free trade aggrements.this allows goods to be made over seas and then shipped back to our country.no inventory taxes and so forth.no meeting of standards and you can work your employee’s into the ground i.e sweat shops don’t have to worry about work place safety.remove free trade agreements meas they would have to pay duty.and freight taxes and so forth making it to expensive to ship here for resell,means bring back the factories or wither on the vine.hell the free trade agreements turned 13th highest economy too bankrupt in just a few years!.

  I want to join too! Can’t believe how ignorant our over all population has become. It saddens me to see greedy politicians bribe the leeches in our society (those who need a little help then make it a career). Then think they can bribe all the other countries to like us. Or at least hoping the dog wont bite the hand that feeds it. Spend and spend creating a fake golden age and now I may have to die for my country in order to save it for all those that destroyed it. Work so hard only to see the lazy live better than me. Free cell phones, internet, home phones, housing, food. The list goes on and on.   Usually I am considered a hater, bigot, and uninformed and on and on..But today we are finally seeing the results of the day America lost it’s resolve and backbone and military independence…It took place November 1 1950 ..The day the Chinese appeared and attacked in Korea ..Just like last week the call went out we are under attack..The Chinese could have been mopped up by the thousands had Truman let us open up full air and sea retaliation ..Or had the balls and taken the big gun out the bomb at the time and dropped it on the side of the mountain 250,000 Chinese were parked.. From that day on we only came close once to mopping up our enemy..and that was in the first Iraq war…So today the stage is just about set for the next big one. We will be dealing with the Chinese, and the green blob Muslim brotherhood who will be supported by the Russians at one time. If we had any sense we would get off our a$$ take the men and equipment we have in Afghanistan and Iraq and Kuwait and land it right on the Red Sea beach in Saudi Arabia and take the 65 mile walk up to Mecca take it and have every American present take a dump right in the middle of it. Then send the Muslim world the message ..Here is your chance to die for your misguided beliefs ..Come take it back..We dare you..In the mean time you have taken control of energy..Then let the Japs do what they do best.Take their carrier group and sink the Chinese . Again today there are thousands sitting in offices thinking their genius with their new I phones checking on the next container of junk coming from Peking ..Totally blind to the fact they in the eyes of the Chinese will soon no longer be needed. The real interesting part is that the economic saturation point has been reached. It really didn’t take long. .And we no longer give the Chinese any real growth ..Just look around it’s all the same junk just in a different store or sold on a different web sight today. Nothing happens in China (without severe response) unless it is with the consent of the government. China needs to point the finger at someone to deflect the public anger (just like what’s happening in the USA). That finger is pointing at the USA and Japan. Another example (if another is needed) that China does not need the USA and the result of our correctly perceived weakness in global affairs. Hang on folks, things are going to get a lot worse. The fundamental transformation is moving to completion.

  Lets help shape Romneys view along those same lines, he’s already made a very bold statement about Palestinians not looking for peace, that was the first refreshing, honest state by a politician we’ve heard in a long time besides Paul… Lets get behind Romney and tell them, yes… more of that… stop foreign aid, pull out of our embassies and destroy them pull out of our bases and destroy them. Our diplomats can be stationed on aircraft carriers where they can be mobile and available when our enemies are ready to come crying to us not to nuke the crap out of them. Abandon the middle east, but protect Israel if needed, go 100% domestic energy by making drilling, extraction and processing a National Security Asset, untouchable by lawsuits, EPA and greenpeace.

A group of Chinese moved in to occupy the islands and were or are currently being removed by the Japanese government. A result of this action has been Chinese boycotts of Japanese auto dealers at first, and now attacks on these dealerships with the destruction of the property and vehicles. Apparently, it is bleeding over onto the Americans in the country. We may have no toys for this coming Christmas now.

Can’t the Gaybama administration get even SIMPLE security measures right? I DEMAND that Gaybama follow through with his promise (and the promise of all his lap-dogs) that even our enemies would love us during a Gaybama administration.

If the protest was against the Chinese govt. the police would have beaten and kidnapped every protester there, never to be seen again.
