Libyan Imam After Ambassador Attack: Destroy the Rancorous Christians and Detonate Your Wrath

Videos from the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) have taken on a new significance after the recent wave of attacks on U.S. outposts in the Middle East. Before, it was acknowledged that many of the statements were outrageous, but there was a sense that the radical actors were impotent and isolated. Now, however, statements like “stab them in their main artery” seem much more ominous.

In the most recent instance, MEMRI posted a video of a Libyan imam’s Friday sermon the week the American ambassador and three others were killed in Benghazi. Carried on the television channel Libya Al-Hurra TV, according to MEMRI, one might expect a measured response, urging calm.

Instead, the imam told Libyans to “detonate [their] wrath” upon anyone who “attacks [the] beloved prophet” with “deeds they can’t ignore.”

He added with a noteworthy choice of words: “Let us stab them in their main artery, the secret behind their power. Let us stab them in their economy.”

“Oh Allah, destroy the rancorous Christians. Oh Allah, destroy the rancorous Christians and the corrupting Jews. Oh Allah, destroy them for they cannot withstand you,” he implored at the end of his speech.

The clip begins with the imam expressing grief over the recent “tragedy.” That tragedy, however, was not the murder of four Americans, but seemingly an offensive YouTube video.

He explained [all subsequent emphasis added]:

Oh nation of Islam, I was so overwhelmed with grief that I could not express it. How could I possibly depict the tragedy that had happened? We remained quiet when they butchered the elderly. We remained quiet when they slaughtered the children. We were restrained when they violated the honor of women. All that is left is the mocking of our Prophet. No, a thousand times no.

Oh nation of Islam, who will come to the aid of the Messenger of Allah? Who will come to the aid of Muhammad, who sacrificed everything he had in order to deliver us this religion?

Oh, how he suffered for our sake! Oh, how often his honorable face was spat upon for our sake! Oh, how many times he was banished from his land for our sake! After all this, how can we not boycott anyone who attacks our beloved Prophet?

He continued as many of the audience turned up their hands, presumably in prayer:

Indeed, oh Muslims, the time has come for us to adopt a firm stance, and to detonate our wrath upon them with deeds they will not be able to ignore. Let us stab them in their main artery, the secret behind their power. Let us stab them in their economy. The Prophet Muhammad said: “Wage Jihad against the polytheists, using your wealth, your hands, and you tongues.”

Oh Allah, destroy the rancorous Christians! Oh Allah, destroy the rancorous Christians and the corrupting Jews! Oh Allah, destroy them for they cannot withstand you.

Many Islamic leaders are calling for anti-blasphemy laws throughout the Middle East and Europe that punish those who offend Islam. Though clearly upset over the YouTube insult to the prophet, the Libyan imam appears to have few reservations about calling for the destruction of other religions.

This is what happens when you weakly brush aside a bully. Each time he gets mor in your face. The way to end it is to deck him. Show no mercy! He will quit.
We need to make a statement that shows strength in no unmistakeable way. Though the Bible says we should turn the other chek when affronted, it also says that we should be vigilant and stand against the evil Satan. Islam in Satanistic, because it values violence and death over life and peaceful coexistence.

You missed a couple…the bombing of the Abrams bluing in Frankfurt, in 1972, 76 and 1982. The Red Army Faction was a European terrorist organization. Part of the group was the Bader-Mienhoff gang. All of these 70′s terror groups were trained in PLO and PFLP camps located in friendly muslim countries. They cooperated with each other to conduct hijack operations of western and Israeli airliners. They kidnapped Gen Dozier in Italy in the 80′s, and assisted in the bombing of the La Belle disco in Berlin in 1986, I could go on, but you get the point. This goes back much farther than most people realize.

Hell itself will not destroy the Church. It make take some of us Christians out of the game early, send us Home; but in the end, we have already won. Death does not have the final say.

Islam thinks it’s on the right side of history, but it’s most definitely on the wrong side of eternity!

Jews & Christians — stay strong for the Lord our God will end the long night of darkness on His time table. Steep yourselves in the Bible and prepare for the Tribulation.

As a Christian, I DO NOT FEAR YOU! I fear MY God (reverence/respect Him). Greater is He Who is in me than he who is in the world. And sorry, but if you had any sense, you’d fear Him, too! You may kill the bodies of Christians, but you may NOT take their souls! My salvation is sure–because of the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. My heart will NEVER EVER sing any OTHER NAME!
