Disturbing Development: Greek Neo-Nazi Party Surges in Popularity

What happens when you have an economically desolate country with record high unemployment? Its people become desperate, they start looking for solutions, and, in some cases, a radical comes along and promises to fix everything. Left with no choice, the country will follow him, sometimes blindly, and the results are oftentimes disastrous.

It has happened before and it will likely happen again.

We mention all of this because we want to call your attention to a disturbing development taking place in Greece. The country has been crushed by debt, it has gone through more leadership changes than most Third World countries, and its youth unemployment rate is at a record high:

So it comes as no surprise that a survey released on Tuesday shows 54 percent of the Greek people distrust the country’s mainstream political parties, according to Ekathimerini. And why should they? They’ve been let down over and over again.

But here’s where things start to get scary: the ultra-nationalist, neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party has risen 10 points in popularity since May.

“[T]he popularity of Golden Dawn’s leader Nikos Mihalolioakos has risen ten points since May to an incredible 22%. More than 1 in 5 Greeks now support the neo-nazi party as the general disillusionment with mainstream political parties — who are seen as lying to get votes — grows stronger,” writers at Zero Hedge note.

Considering the fact that both Golden Dawn and 68 percent of the Greek people are opposed to being bailed out, we’re going to go ahead and predict that, unless something dramatic changes, Mihalolioakos’ rise in popularity will continue upwards. But then what?

  NEUTRINO that’s unfair to say, Nazis hated a people for who they, then brutally killed a vast majority of them, nobody hates illegal immigrants for who they are. Americans just want immigrants to be legal, really that simple, doesn’t matter nationality or ethnicity or religious beliefs or species whatever. By being legal they are contributing properly to the nation can be held accountable by our laws and gain all the benefits of being an american citizen.

One big reason why Nazi’s may become very popular in Greece is that they —like all of western Europe– have encouraged mass third world immigration that they did not need and could not afford.
Of course the main problem is failed socialist policies, but the misguided immigration policies gives ammunition to the Nazi’s now that socialism has put their country in a ditch.

Yall need to learn how to distinguish between Nazis and nationalists. Not every nationalist or nationalist party is necessarily a National Socialists. There actually is a difference between being a nationalist and being a nazi. You could be a nationalist and be for a free Republic. Nationalism just means you are for benefiting and preserving your nationality, it doesn’t mean your also automatically a socialist. So what if the liberal media labels this nationalist party as Nazis, they also refer to tea party members and most conservatives in general as Nazis too. Does it mean they are though? Communist/liberal media will always label anything that isn’t sharing their world view as Nazis. Shows how intelligent they are, so I hope ya’ll don’t follow them in there narrowness in obtaining truth and information. Maybe we need a little nationalism in this country instead of being such spineless wimps in the face of anything that defames the mainstream majority culture.

Well better the nationalist take power than the communists in Greece. At least the nationalist will take care of the Greek people and maintain the existence of Greek culture instead of selling them out for cheap labor from third worlders like the capitalists, or completely destroying greek culture due to contempt and hatred for anything mainstream like the communists. Its high time a political party sought to protect the majority instead of crushing the majority in order to favor the minority. Now lets see how Greece and the Greek people fair compared to French who elected a commie that will destroy France and French culture in favor of islamic and african immigrants.

Economically, they may be on to something:
Under the National Socialists, Germany’s money wasn’t backed by gold (which was owned by the international bankers). It was essentially a receipt for labor and materials delivered to the government. Hitler said, “For every mark issued, we required the equivalent of a mark’s worth of work done, or goods produced.” The government paid workers in Certificates. Workers spent those Certificates on other goods and services, thus creating more jobs for more people. In this way the German people climbed out of the crushing debt imposed on them by the international bankers.

Within two years, the unemployment problem had been solved, and Germany was back on its feet. It had a solid, stable currency, with no debt, and no inflation, at a time when millions of people in the United States and other Western countries (controlled by international bankers) were still out of work. Within five years, Germany went from the poorest nation in Europe to the richest.

  MARY, The Nazis were Socialists, Mussolini’s Italians were Fascists. Both of those terms are ECONOMIC systems. And yes, Germany and Italy were, in fact, allies during WW2. They were referred to as the Axis forces, whereas the USA (Capitalist) and Russia (Soon-to-be-Communists) headed the side historically known as the “Allied Forces”. Nationalism it will come to America soon enough thanks to you neo cons and neo libs betraying your country and destroying it, people will look for an alternative and hopefully they choose the libertarian and not the nationalist one or communist.

  I already read the “Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” as well as Edward Gibbons “Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire” I know what is happening you obviously don’t.

Who doesn’t like a little racial hate and anti-semitism with a Gyro and a nice Greek Salad. Plus the Greek men’s B.O. mixed in, with their work ethic, wow, they will definitely take over…….at least their Block, maybe an island or two, but not the world. They will get tired and need a nap when they get to Italy.
