‘Hilarious’: Glenn Beck Delivers With Encore Performance of ‘Unelectable 2′
Did you miss Glenn Beck’s live stage show? You can still catch the encore of “Unelectable” 2012 in movie theaters across the country on September 25th! Details HERE.
–
Glenn Beck hit the stage at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio on Thursday for the encore performance of his mock-presidential debate comedy tour “Unelectable 2.” In addition to the hundreds of people who saw it in person, numerous HD movie theaters across the country screened the live event.
“It’s not yes we can, yes we will. It’s yes I can. Yes I will,” Beck said during the show, speaking about conservatism and personal responsibility. He also said it’s not the government that creates jobs, it has to “get out of the way” of the real job creators, Americans.
“Your job is to be where God has asked you to be, even if you don’t understand it,” he told the audience and people in theaters across the country.
TheBlaze’s Eddie Scarry was on-site at one of those theaters in Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C.
He said it was interesting to hear fellow movie-goers talking about the Constitution and the United States of America before the show began — not exactly your typical movie theater chatter. However, all the talking ceased as soon as the lights in the auditorium dimmed and Glenn Beck appeared on the screen, prompting applause from the audience.
Following the show, TheBlaze talked to a couple members of the audience to get their reactions.
“I liked the history aspect, the stories about George Washington and Thomas Pain,” said Charles Repine, who works at the U.S. State Department and is a Beck fan.
If there’s one thing that is never missing from a Beck performance, it’s U.S. history.
Repine’s buddy, Jeremy Mack, tagged along to see the show, though he admitted he was not as familiar with Beck’s gigantic body of work. Mack, who works in sales at a green technologies company, said he genuinely “enjoyed the show,” but his favorite part of the performance wasn’t Beck, it was TheBlazeTV’s Brian Sack’s impersonation of President Barack Obama.
“That was hilarious. He got the cadence and the personality just spot on,” he said.
Just to give you an idea, here’s a clip from the March 23 “Unelectable 2″ show in Tampa, Fla.:
TheBlaze was on the scene and snapped some behind the scenes pictures — here’s a taste of what it was like at “Unelectable 2″:
While it was a night of comedy in theaters across the nation, Beck ended the night with an emotional monologue imploring the audience to take action and secure the future of the country. He also told the emotional story of his son’s birthday night out, and left viewers with a few simple words that never lose their truth, “just be you.”
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on September 21, 2012 at 6:25amIt’s been a long time since I laughed that hard. Took my son and his cousin and they laughed as hard as I did (teenagers). Wasn’t a full house like I expected but there was no shortage of applause and laughter. One of Glenn’s greatest strengths is the ability to weave a story that touches everyone. The whole part at the beginning that you think is just an opening story is weaved by a master by the last couple minutes into something that everyone can relate to. Honestly, if it weren’t for everything else going on I think he would have been a Walt Disney type character.

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 8:07amThey’re probably all set to go. The DHS received it’s marching orders two weeks ago and has since ordered another 200 million plus bullets.
Glenn’s research staff should be on whats happening, but he likes to make sure everything is confirmed, etc. which is hard to do when strictly face to face communications are used. Anyway, look at Europe, it will probably collapse within just a few weeks and that should begin the worldwide currency collapse, not hyperinflation, collapse.
The word thats out among the hedge fund guys is that the collapse is “imminent”. Everything you listed above is in preparation for the party they intend to throw us. By the way, there are so many more financial things that have happened that it is obvious the Elites have been protecting their fortunes for years now.
Anyway if you’re not prepared, get that way fast! We aren’t looking at years, we’re looking at weeks, possibly days.
There is an excellent fictional e-book available that begins with the worldwide currency collapse and follows it to its logical conclusion. Read Hales “Death of Civilization; the Apocalypse Begins” be sure to look at the preface, the author has whats been happening nailed! Here’s a link; https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/gunny

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 8:13amI have to agree. Barry’s first executive order is 13489 Governing the release of Presidential records – funny that that was his first order of business! – any number lower than that is another guy.
Stay factual. It’s important.

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 8:43amI do not support Obama, I will not be voting for him. But all the orders I looked up are from JFK (John F. Kennedy). Sure, Obama might of renewed something, but renewing is different then making something new. Don’t listen to this UUUUUUUUGH Trash. Do you research and buy gold :-)

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 4:15amSaw the show in southern California. Awesome! I went with my mom. She really enjoyed it too. Said she was feeling depressed because of all the poll results showing Obama ahead. She said the part with the totally biased reporters made her laugh and gave her some hope that maybe the actual polls are slanted. (I keep trying to convince her that they are.)
We both loved the part where Glenn tells the story of George Washington crossing the Delaware. (If I were a history teacher – I would play this for my class.) It was just riveting to hear. (I’d play Restoring Love as a teaching tool too)
Loved the Spider Man story-made me tear up.
I wish EVERYONE could see the show. Like just buy a bunch of tickets and take people off the street and have them watch it. The more people who see this, the better it is for our country.
Keep up the great work Glenn . You are a national treasure.

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 3:15amI didn’t get to see it but I love reading about it! THINK HOW AMAZING IT IS for one man GLENN BECK to have enough followers all over the US of A that he can announce a week or so in advance and have theatres all over the USA filled with fans and kindred souls! GOD is talking to us, folks. We must listen. We’re not here by accident and Satan is throwing everything he can think of at us. 40 days of prayers begin Sept 28. This is get on your knees and talk to GOD. Seek wisdom and protection for our Precious Country. THANK YOU GLENN et al!!! :) (the ET AL gets bigger and bigger!! Great GROUP you have built up!! )

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 2:47amGreat Show! I thoroughly enjoyed it. You are consistent in your message and easy to understand. I wish everyone could at least hear your logic and reason and then make their decision on who to vote for. It would be difficult for me to believe we weren’t at a cross roads and I hope that people will spread your research and visions for the future for this country’s sake. If they don’t speak up and spread the truth, then I hope there is at least a silent majority who will speak out through their vote!

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 12:56amI saw the show in Boynton Beach, Florida. Glenn, I admire you and I’m grateful for, and inspired by, your message, but I felt the show fell flat. Not a lot that I haven’t seen and heard on the radio and TV shows. While the debate format had great potential for comedy, and was amusing in parts, it served largely as a pretext for half a dozen 5-minute familiar lectures/exhortations on various topics. Brian Sack was in fine form and I think that your points could have come out in a more entertaining way by utilizing him to an even greater extent. In comedy, the straight man isn’t the one to hit the audience in the head with a sledgehammer to make the point. I’m glad that so many people liked your show. But, as someone who’s spent roughly $140 or thereabouts on monthly subscription fees, I think the $40 I spent on two tickets was just a bit steep for the same, albeit inspiring, messages.

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 10:50amJust some constructive feedback. Loved the message, not wowed by the delivery, considering what I was expecting from the show’s buildup “on the air.” I expected more and better from the BS of A folks. I think they held back. I’m still a Glenn Beck fan.

Posted on September 21, 2012 at 12:25amI, along with my 11 year-old daughter, attended in Montgomery, AL. We both enjoyed it very much! It was a RIOT! My daughter was amazed at how much history she learned, but said that her favorite part was the story about Spiderman at the end! Thank you to Glenn, Brian, Jack, and Matt! It was hilarious! When I told my daughter we were going to see a political comedy, she asked me if we were going to see The Campaign (the Will Ferrell movie) and I just told her it was going to be a surprise! :)

Posted on September 20, 2012 at 11:44pmI’m constantly fighting with myself, never mind the wife and kids, about offering myself to Glenn. I can be a Producer, Editor, IT guy, not a writer, construction, janitor or slave. There’s just that Texas thing, my wife hates when it’s hot and the kids are happy in their schools.
