Neveda Republican Dave Buell Challenges Harry Reid to Release 2011 Tax Returns

Earlier this year, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), citing an anonymous source that may or may not exist, infamously accused GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney of paying zero taxes over a 10-year period. Now that his theory has been thoroughly debunked with the release of the nominee’s 2011 tax returns, Reid is now being challenged to put his money where his mouth is.

Dave Buell, chairman of the Washoe Country Republican party in Nevada, called on Reid in an email blast Friday evening to disclose his 2011 tax return, The Washington Times reports. Oh, and he also invoked Clint Eastwood.

“Senator, make our day and release your 2011 tax return,” Buell wrote.

Romney has repeatedly denied Reid’s wild tax accusation, however, the issue was permanently put to bed on Friday when he released his 2011 tax returns, which showed he payed 14.1 percent in federal income tax while donating 30 percent of his $13.7 million income to charity, or $4 million. Further, the Romney campaign said Friday that the GOP nominee’s average effective tax rate was around 20 percent over the past two decades.

Not long after Romney’s tax dump, Buell sent out the mass email calling for Reid to do the same and release his tax records “so that all Nevadans can see that he is paying his fair share,” according to The Washington Times.

“In addition, Mr. Reid should explain to all of us how he became a millionaire on a bureaucrat’s salary. Mitt Romney earned his money by investing in companies, people and creating jobs in the private sector while Harry Reid made his money by taking money from the private sector and redistributing it through government,” Buell wrote.

Buell also hit Reid on his job as a Nevada senator, saying the state’s unemployment rate is one of the highest in the nation, which rests at 12.1 percent as of Friday.

Even after Romney disclosed his 2011 tax returns, Reid refused to apologize for his unfounded accusations. Instead, he accused Romney of “manipulating” the system.

  Harry Reid is one of the most corrupt individuals I know. SEIU managed to get him reelected in Nevada and the corruption was everywhere. One very high-ranking retired military officer that lives in Nevada told me of just how corrupt things are there.
  
  He and another individual had appointments to meet with Reid to discuss important issues on very and the meetings never came to pass. Reid always canceled them at the last minute. Always!
  
  Funny how that always seems to be the case these days. Politicians represent the people (Mmm, right) and when you want to discuss an issue they are too busy to meet with you – even with an appointment having been scheduled.
  
  Harry Reid is a coward and uselss liberal POStuff. Don’t think for a minute that he is in it to help you and me. He’s not! He is in it for himself, the unions, and his cohorts like Pelosi and King Obama.

We were discussing Harry Reid just the other day and how did he become a multi-millionaire on a Senators salary– since he like Obama has never worked. We came to the conclusion he was probably a gambler and a pimp ~~~ probably has a stable of about 35 ugly women– but you know how else would someone like him make any amount of money. Just a thought be we all thought it was funny. At least Romney made his money honestly. I think Romney and his wife are wonderful and will bring class back to the white house.

  Romney didn’t kill any dogs, but Obama has downed a few rovers back in the day. Which is worse, a man who safely strapped his dog carrier to the top of the car (which does not, in any way hurt a dog, they love it) or killing mans best friend and having them for dinner?
  I’d say it’s #2. It’s one thing to kill a dog accidentally, but to intentionally slaughter them for consumption, when grocery stores are available.

You obviously have never visited us here in rural Nevada where you will see all kinds of working dogs riding on top of trailers heeped high with hay or standing on the back of a flat bed pickup with no side rails cruising down one of our back roads.   Hairy ‘Johnson’ Reid uses the principle of OPM (Other Peoples Money) primary the taxpayers money to enrich himself.. He also doles out all kinds of special favors with exra hefty returns, using the indirect method so it’s not traceable. Harry has his techniques down pat. One techique is to buy worthless desert property then like magic mysterious buyers come along paying him huge sums providing Harry’s wealth. In some instances special zoning is awarded to the new buyer or bridges and highways suddenly show up on or to inaccessible land. Of course Harry had nothing to do with that. He comes with a warning “Don’t Try this On Your Own, Hug Losses May Occur!” Harry hasn’t been tagged the biggest ‘dick’ in Nevada for no reason at all and it’s not because of his manliness. He’s probably a transvestite. Of course he’s not the biggest johnson in the dem party. Nancy Pelosi, of the two, is probably bigger and just as nasty. They are just two of hundreds! For some reason I have never liked Harry Reid, and when he got to be Senate majority leader and we got to see more of his smarmy face atop his little skinny bird neck followed by his squeaky little voice it caused my dislike to rise even higher. He’s the typical loudmouth Demorat progresso-commie who has a nasty comment about anyone whose opinion he dislikes or who isn’t a fellow progresso-commie, but cannot take a little push-back.
