The San Francisco Chronicle has dug into its photo archives and unearthed images of a 17-year-old Mitt Romney at the 1964 Republican convention.
Romney, a high school senior at the time, was attending the convention with his father, then-Michigan Gov. George Romney, mother Lenore and brother Scott.
Chronicle pop culture critic Peter Hartlaub scoured dozens of photo negatives and published his findings online:

How unhinged to you have to be, intellectually, to endorse not only four people, but four whom also hold diametrically opposing views on the role of government. This alone shows that Ron Paul is not a serious thinker. In fact it shows him to be a reactionary flame thrower, willing to completely abandon principles when he doesn’t get his way.
He was eventually shamed into endorsing Baldwin. But the fact remains… Paul would NOT endorse the man from his own party (McCain), but WOULD endorse McKinney and Nader… hmmm.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/31/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.
Congressmen/women made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in
Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their
term(s), then go home and back to work.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive
the message. Don’t you think it’s time?

Now conservatives don’t know where to turn. They feel they have been duped by an incompetent party into sacrificing principles and common sense. Common sense which should have made Ron Paul the obvious choice. It will be interesting to watch the republican party either change or collapse in the next few years.

If Ron Paul endorsing him, meant that he got a meaningful cabinet position then I’m all for it. I’ve canvassed half my town fundraising for my local State Rep and State Senate Republican candidates, US Senate Republican candidate to fill Olympia Snowe’s vacant seat, written checks for them, and helped organize fundraisers for them too. I’ve voted Republican (with the exception of Pat Buchanan and Ross Perot) all my life. BTW: Active duty troops gave more money to Ron Paul than every other candidate, including Obummer, combined!

With that being said, it seems to me the Paul supporters are more a political cult than a positive influence on the political process. Right now, he’s the equivalent to the Green party in political stature a.k.a. the also-rans. A vote for Paul does nothing to defeat Obama and I do believe that is what Ron Paul’s ultimate goal was.
