Iranian Military Commander: ‘Israel Seeks War With Us’

A top Iranian commander predicted Saturday that Israel will strike Iran and called war between the two countries inevitable.
“A war will occur, but it’s not clear where or when it will be,” Revolutionary Guard Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari said at a news conference, according to Reuters. “Israel seeks war with us, but it’s not clear when the war will occur.”
Jafari said the Jewish state’s ever-increasing talk of striking Iran’s nuclear facilities will eventually lead to action on Israel’s part. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier this week Iran is “20 yards” from attaining a nuclear weapon and must not be allowed to “cross that goal line.”
“Their threats only prove that their enmity with Islam and the revolution is serious, and eventually this enmity will lead to physical conflict,” Jafari said. “Right now they see war as the only method of confrontation.”
Echoing similar comments he made last week, Jafari said Iran is ramping up its defensive capabilities so that if there is a strike, Iran will be able to defend itself “and other countries that need our help.”
“If they [Israel] start something, they will be destroyed and it will be the end of the story for them,” Jafari said.
Jafari last week threatened to strike U.S. military bases in the Middle East in retaliation for any American attack.

I spent 19 years in a fundamentalist church. I’ve read the bible cover to cover, and some Nostradomus.
Revelations is certainly similar enough to his writing to be mistaken for it, as well as some of the other prophetic passages.
A man who takes a thousands of years old vague prophesy and declares he has the one interpretation is either self deluding, or trying to convince others to follow him.
If humans are still around in 10,000 years, there will still be people declaring end-of-days just like they have been for 10s of thousands of years already.

Those who stand against Israel will pay by GOD’s hand. The US has taken GOD out of every aspect of our lives. Revelation speaks of the end times and for those who do not know this should read the book. Yes some Jews still don’t believe in Jesus Christ but will in time. They have paid for their violations against GOD and are now being given their chance to see truth. It is all written to come to pass as war with Israel also has been written. Over the years especially after the Evil Empire fell, I was hoping for an unlimited world of peace & prosperity, A Soviet Union that we helped during the 1990s, a growing middle class in China, etc
But Democrats cannot deliver it. All they can do is cut the military & grow entitlements just like De Tocqueville said they would. So now they have weakened economies worldwide, weakened NATO militaries, weakened the people & emboldened evil foreign leaders.
I did not want to live thru a WW3 or a cataclysm, but it appears that Democrats are intent on bumbling into one.
There are no more Charlie Wilsons or Sam Nunns in the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party of today might as well wave a red banner & call themselves Soviet Union 2.0

Where is the international hot and active place since its existence in 1947? The answer is simple; It’s the State of Israel.
Persia (Iran) was under the shah in 1947-48 when the state of Israel came into existence. Since the Shah was over thrown, there have been four rulers in Iran as the word states, and how often does the current Marxist president rail against the state of Israel?
And with this article, once again we see that same Persia rallying for war against the State of Israel, just as the prophecy states.

You will find it written in the book or Revelation, chapter 16 vs 16. It occurs just before the 7th vial of punnishment is poured out. That earth quake, defined in verses 18 is Christ’s feet touching the mount of olives. It occurs just prior to the massive Hail strom which each hail stone weighs a talent (about 75lbs). There will not be anything left after that occurs.
The battle you are about to witness as a result of this article is written in the book of Daniel, chapters 8 and 11. There you sill observe Persia (Iran) specifically spoken of. Just as they played a part in the lead up to Rome (which was the example) they also play a part in these end days in the lead up tho the reigh of Anti-Christ. After the war with Persia and the West, comes the prophecy of Daniel 7 which is the lead and support for the entire book of Revelation.

Israel is in an untenable position and cannot afford to wait until it is attacked. Were Israel to do so, its ability to defend itself would be seriously hampered, if not destroyed. A pre-emptive strike is its only defence.
One question is the timing. I think that the protaganists are waiting to see who wins the election in November, but, whichever way that goes, I think that there will be war next year.
Another question is the extent that the war will spread into other nations. If the west resolutely supports Israel, I think that the hostilities will be limited to the territory of the adversaries. If Mr Obama wins, and continues his appeasement and mixed messages, then the war will likely spread to other nations. This will be those who think that there is a reduced risk in forcefully pursuing an advantage.
The west, in fact the whole world, needs strength and leadership from the premiere nation.
So far it has been sadly – and dangerously – lacking.

Yet look as well on the larger strategic moves Iran is making:
Claims of being a ‘victim’ of the west and zionist aggression; here they are seeking the moral high ground to draw other Middle Eastern countries and NGOs into their orbit. If Iran holds off any offensive action on Israel until she strikes first, then Iran in effect wins this part of the battle, and the attack on Iran becomes an attack on all of Islam.
By stating they are ready to oppose the West; they also bring into play two larger forces into the region that can help them deter the United States – China and Russia. Even the spectre of one or both siding with Iran throws the entire balance of US support for Israel out the window; as does the threat of closing the Persian Gulf oil shipping.
Iran has set itself up to shortly become the dominant regional player within the gulf; and only two unknowns in the equation could change that outcome – real US Leadership (Romney) or the decision of Israel at some point in a conflict to go nuclear – in which case all bets are off.

The main problem is with the mess of China – Japan heating up, there is a potential for a second regional war at the same time as one in the Middle East; which could all too easily slide into the area of North/South Korea, and Taiwan joining in the mess.
Our world is on a knifes edge of a third world war that, unlike the second, will consist of a number of regional wars that sweep the world; and this time, there will be the high probability of nuclear arms being employed as well.
Most people simply scoff at that until reminded of how close we came just a few years back in a pending India – Pakistan border confrontation that many screamed would near instantly go nuclear and leave 100 million or more dead.
The next large war will most likely see nuclear attacks happen; and God help us then for under Obama our nation will be rendered defenseless across the board.

I think that China will be tempted to go for Taiwan which will bring the USA and her allies into the conflict because of the treaty. China has also shown considerable interest in some African nations. I think that China will, at best, stay out of it, or will side with the Islamists. China will not support the west.
Russia is by far the more dangerous of the two. I haven’t come up with any sensible thoughts on them yet, but I note that the Russians are buying gold at a fast rate while showing respect to Mr Romney at the same time. Keep watching them, I guess.
Someone should ask Condi Rice. She is the expert on Russia.

If they go to war I am sure they view it as the end and will use everything at their disposal. the same for Israel. That is why this situation is so dangerous.
