A government minister in Pakistan has personally offered a $100,000 reward for anyone who kills the man behind an anti-Islam film as deadly riots continue throughout the Arab world.

“I announce today that this blasphemer, this sinner who has spoken nonsense about the holy prophet, anyone who murders him, I will reward him with $100,000,” Railways Minister Ghulam Ahmad Bilour announced during a news conference Saturday, according to Reuters.

“I invite the Taliban brothers and the Al-Qaeda brothers to join me in this blessed mission,” he said.

Bilour, a member of the left-wing Awami National Party, told CNN he was speaking only on behalf of himself, not the Pakistani government.

“I am a Muslim first, then a government representative,” Bilour said.

At least 15 people have been killed in Pakistan during demonstrations, according to Reuters.

A spokesman for Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said Sunday that Gilani condemns Bilour’s action. A spokesman for the Awami National Party told CNN they have “lots of concerns over the statement of our colleague.”

“We believe in nonviolence. How could we make such announcements?” party spokesman Sen. Zahid Khan said. “Our party has been fighting against militancy and extremism for years. How could we invite Taliban and Al-Qaeda to kill someone? Taliban and Al- Qaeda are our enemies who have killed our loved ones.”

“Innocence of Muslims,” which denigrates the Prophet Muhammad as an adulterer, killer and child molester, has been blamed at least in part for igniting mob violence across the Middle East. While Bilour did not mention by the filmmaker by name, according to CNN, he likely was referring to Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the 55-year-old California man U.S. officials have said was behind it.

Nakoula has not returned to his Southern California home since leaving voluntarily last week for questioning by federal officers and has gone into hiding with his family.

Bilour’s offer comes after the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad spent $70,000 on ads denouncing the film for Pakistani television.

  We are being faced with a choice as a species with Islam. Are we going to be creatures that value life and each other even in disagreement? Or are we going to sanction killing over our disagreements. They seem to be making contract killings mainstream, even respected behavior.   Congress just took a 7 week vacation, and gave Obama a blank check to print as much US Currency as he wants. Sorry – No election this year. Obama is going to release and pardon 30,000 Prisoners and arm them with the stock pile of 45Cal hollow points, sniper bullets and weapons. Then he is going to turn them loose on Americans to get our guns. 2/3 of Americans will gladly give up their Guns and praise Obama.

  In studying for Bachelor Science in psychology @ a Christian college w/ minor in apologetics have a deeper understanding into Islamic religion than most Muslims.
  And allah is certainly NOT just another name for the Judeo-Christian God. Why would anyone worship a god so weak he needs his followers’ to avenge him? To defend him? To be so double-minded, by teaching love, patience & gentleness, to pray for enemies, etc., to teaching hate of other religions, murderous, & intolerance?   As I, and many others far more scholarly than I, have been saying for years. Muslims cannot, by definition, be citizens of the country in which they reside. This is evidenced by the words of this “Pakistani” muslim himself! If this muslim, residing in a nation steeped in, and indeed, cleaved off of India for the express purpose of proving a “homeland” for the muslims, still identifies with the muslim Ummah and not his own country, then what chance do we in America have of integrating the millions muslim soldiers residing on American soil? A member of Pakistan’s government has openly done what we know the country of Pakistan has been doing for years – lending aid and comfort to a terrorist group openly hostile to the U.S..

The last time that happened, we declared it a hostile country, overran the hostile country, captured it’s leader in a hole, then watched him hanged…

Just about the same as obama said– so we already know where he stands.
Note what B. Hussein Obama says in his own words. They are from his books entitled “Dreams of My Father” and “Audacity of Hope.
In “Audacity of Hope” he writes: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The quote comes from page 261 of the paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.
