Beck Explains Why We Are ‘Less Safe’ Today in the Middle East Than Ever

As tensions across the Middle East reach critical mass, Glenn Beck dedicated ample time on Monday evening to examining the myriad ways in which America is “less safe” than it has been since perhaps World War II.

Beck examined what he sees as a laundry list of missteps taken by President Obama including singing the NDAA into law; overseeing a secret “kill list”; waging war on Libya without seeking congressional approval; escalating drone wars in Yemen, Pakistan and Somalia; and sending  $30 billion in weapons to terror-funding Saudi Arabia to name a few.

Ever-outspoken, Beck took no prisoners as he laid out in painstaking detail, the truth about the Middle East:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

      So, Beck’s view is that the Middle East is less safe because we are attacking and killing the bad guys. That’s a twist. I thought the claim was that President Obama hasn’t been forceful enough? So which is it?

      I didn’t watch the video, but this isn’t another caliphate prediction is it? And what is Beck – and Romney for that matter – suggesting what we do? Kill more of these guys or kill fewer. How can you say Obama is handling this wrong if you don’t have any answers on what to do? What is the Republican plan?

      I never heard much of the unPatriot act from Beck. How come we pick and choose who is evil and who we should go to war with, but Donal Rumsfield sold N Korea the ability to make nukes. I never hear Beck talk about the depopulation agenda that our elites have signed us onto. Never talks about Flouride Gmo’s and vaccines. I hear more truth from Beck than I hear from the MSM, thats not saying much. Never hear the whole truth. Beck will talk about the Fed. But only half truthes. We have been taken over by the same centeral bankers that have taken ver Europe. He was so quick to call truthers evil. I lost alot of respect for Beck.

    Around the 3:10 mark Glenn asks why the cost fo the war has gone up. The truth is Bush ever included the costs of the war into to budget. He wrote it off as “emergency spending” and when Obama came into office he put all the Bush unfunded spending back into the budget (as it should have been).

    At the 4:00 mark he claims there have been more troops lost under Obama than there were under the 8 years of Bush. The facts are if you add up the losses under Bush; 4503 in Iraq and 1049 in Afghanistan compared to those under Obama; 265 in Iraq and 1798 in Afghanistan, it’s simply cherry picking. Under Bush 5552 solders dies and under Obama 2054 which adds up to 71% of deaths under Obama in Afghanistan but only 0.05 percent Under Obama

    At 4:40 he claims that Obama signed into law the NDAA which 93 Senators voted for (except for 3 R’s, 3 D’s and 1 I). it was not just Obama that passed this law.

    At 4:45 he claims the U.S. waged a war on Libya without Congressional approval which is a lie. It was a Military Action.

    At 7:40 how dare the President make predictions for the future. We can’t prove them false now! You can’t compare the past to the unknown.

    From 8:30-8:55 on is pure speculation

    At 9:05, how is it that the person who speaks last is not the highlight? Just look at the NRC and DNC.

    At 10:00 Glenn admits it’s only about oil

    At this point I’m done pointing out facts because I’m about out of characters.
    The fact is Glenn lies and distorts the facts t

      I like how you twist things to fit your agenda, “At 4:45 he claims the U.S. waged a war on Libya without Congressional approval which is a lie. It was a Military Action.” Using your logic the same can be said about Bush then or anyone. Just change the words around and its all legal. Since you know everything why don’t supply some links to indisputable facts proving Beck is wrong. Myself and others and Im sure you would agree when someone makes a claim you want to see the source. So provide your sources and maybe you will get lucky and the Blaze and Beck will issue a correction. He has done it before!

      While Beck is a self proclaimed rodeo clown and it’s true he does distort a great deal of information about 90% of what he says is actually correct.

      That being said I appreciate your ability to take each assertion one by one and analyze the claim.. That’s critical thinking and that’s what we need in America today.

      Personally my two biggest peeves in the world today are 1) the surrendering of individual liberties granted under our Constitution for the furtherance of the current police state and 2) this notion that we are entitled to be in the Middle East and they are suppose to like it and appreciate it.

      Mitt Romney like Obama and GWB falls far short in addressing these two issues for me.. As much as I hate and despise the pathetic sickening Obama I do not know if I’ll be able to vote for Mitt Romney.

      Obama is a known enemy and threat to the US Constitution. Patriots across the country are on edge because they know with 100% certainty that we have a traitor in the White House; however, I’m just not so sure Mitt Romney is as loyal to our Constitution as many want to believe. I think Mitt = GWB and GWB was nothing but a lapdog of the NWO and a Zionist shill.

      Republicans need to get back to small gov’t, sound money, border protection and liberty at home.. That’s all I ask. Can’t we simply stay the hell out of other people’s affairs? We are only making matter’s worse.. Say NO to Zionism!

      Obama is the Manchurian Candidate. How much more obvious does it need to be? He is a Muslim named, Muslim sympathizing community organizer. He’s the most unqualified, inept radical ever to step foot in the White House and Americans just love him and can’t get enough of this Marxist. As I’ve said before, if the US reelects this Marxist, then the US will get what it deserves. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. His goal is to knock the US down a couple notches and bring our standard of living down to to that of Paraguay or Somalia-all to fulfill the dreams of his alcoholic, deadbeat, Marxist, womanizing, radical father.

I really don’t expect much out of who ever gets into office! Yes, Romney being the better one, but It would be hard for me to believe if anyone was really for us! It will be high debt, high taxes and high inflation regardless!

    Next you will see an uprising in the USA and Europe over rights, inflation and of course those that expect hand-outs! I expect things to get worse regardless!

    With China’s policy of a “one world government” , the caliphate of Muslims and Israel ready to strike at any moments notice! I can tell you that the outlook does not look pretty! They will try to find every way to control us! The world is getting even more scarey by the day! History repeats, but this time is for real! Look-out WW3!

    In the Book of Genesis, Chapter 12, Verse 1-3, we see what God says about His response to how people treat Israel:

    And I will bless those that bless you and curse the one who curses you. And in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

    In the Book of Numbers, where the Bible is telling us about the Nation of Israel that God delivers out of bondage in Egypt, it tells us:

    He crouched. He lay down as a lion, and as a great lion. Who shall stir him up? Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you.

    Although many will point out that this Scripture had its fulfillment in the Old Testament days, it doesn’t seem to have any time-related limitation on it. It doesn’t say, I will bless those who bless you only until the Messiah comes. . . or have any other conditions that would limit the result of actions toward Israel.

    Some will object that the promise of blessings applies to nations only, not individuals. To this we respond that our God is a just and faithful God, not giving promises in the Bible and then taking them away through trickery of the meanings of words!

    Does this mean that those who bless Israel will become rich, famous, leaders of rock bands and have whiter teeth? Obviously not! Blessings come in many ways. Those who are impoverished in a worldly sense may have blessings in family, good health, and spiritual riches that others find hard to see. What good is it to have vast financial wealth if one does not have the health to enjoy

      China only holds about $1.2 trillion of our $16+ trillion national debt. The largest holder of our national debt is the private banking cartel known as the Federal Reserve so the first step to fixing our nation is to Repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. Our Constitution, under Article 1 Section 8, authorizes Congress to “coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures” so why is the Fed needed? BTW, this would also get rid of the constitutional violation know as Income Tax to boot.

The authors conclude that Israel is currently the greatest threat to US national interests because its nature and actions prevent normal US relations with Arab and Muslim countries and, to a growing degree, the wider international community.

      its either Gary Johnson 2012 or NDAA into law; overseeing a secret “kill list”; waging war on Libya without seeking congressional approval; escalating drone wars in Yemen, Pakistan and Somalia; and sending $30 billion in weapons to terror-funding Saudi Arabia to name a few done by Obama or Romney.

      or you all better do what Iceland did.

      INDY, Just how will Gary Johnson repeal the NDAA? Please tell me. I just posted to SOYBOMB on another story, but the same answer applies here. A president with virtually no support outside of his own administration would have to act like 0bama and rule by fiat to just ignore the NDAA. Maybe he can use his power with Executive Orders and wish it away. There is that Constitutional presidency you are pushing right? I’d much rather work from within an existing party with actual power and make eventual major changes, and am hoping the Tea Party will help with that. Your Gary Johnson will have to be like 0bama to get anything done regarding your clams, or he will sit alone in the Oval Office for the next four years. Tell us some more fairy tales, okay?

      Among the many findings that Ros-Lehtenin and Kristol and other unregistered agents of Israel will likely try to exploit politically between now and November 6, by using them to attack the Obama Administration are the following:

      Israel, given its current brutal occupation and belligerence cannot be salvaged any more than apartheid south Africa could be when as late as 1987 Israel was the only “Western” nation that upheld diplomatic ties with South Africa and was the last country to join the international boycott campaign before the regime collapsed;
      The Israel leadership, with its increasing support of the 700,000 settlers in illegal colonies in the occupied West Bank is increasing out of touch with the political, military and economic realities of the Middle East;
      The post Labor government Likud coalition is deeply complicit with and influenced by the settlers’ political and financial power and will increasingly face domestic civil strife which the US government should not associate itself with or become involved with;
      The Arab Spring and Islamic Awakening has to a major degree freed a large majority of the 1.2 billion Arab and Muslims to pursue what an overwhelming majority believe is the illegitimate, immoral and unsustainable European occupation of Palestine of the indigenous population;

      Simultaneous with, but predating, rapidly expanding Arab and Muslim power in the region as evidenced by the Arab spring, Islamic Awakening and the ascendancy of Iran, as American power and influence recedes, the US commitment to belligerent oppressive Israel is becoming impossible to defend or execute consistent given paramount US national interests which include normalizing relations with the 57 Islamic countries;
      Gross Israeli interference in the internal affairs of the United States through spying and illegal US arms transfers. This includes supporting more than 60 ‘front organizations’ and approximately 7,500 US officials who do Israel’s bidding and seek to dominate and intimidate the media and agencies of the US government which should no longer be condoned;
      That the United States government no longer has the financial resources, or public support to continue funding Israel. The billions of dollars in direct and indirect aid from US taxpayers to Israel since 1967 is not affordable and is increasingly being objected to by US taxpayers who oppose continuing American military involvement in the Middle East. US public opinion no longer supports funding and executing widely perceived illegal US wars on Israel’s behalf. This view is increasingly being shared by Europe, Asia and the International public;

      Israel’s segregationist occupation infrastructure evidenced by legalized discrimination and increasingly separate and unequal justice systems must no longer be directly or indirectly funded by the US taxpayers or ignored by the US government;
      Israel has failed as a claimed democratic state and continued American financial and political cover will not change its continuing devolution as international pariah state;
      Increasingly, rampant and violent racism exhibited among Jewish settlers in the West Bank is being condoned by the Israeli government to a degree that the Israel government has become its protector and partner;
      The expanding chasm among American Jews objecting to Zionism and Israeli practices, including the killing and brutalizing of Palestinians under Israeli occupation, are gross violations of American and International law and raise questions within the US Jewish community regarding the American responsibility to protect (R2P) innocent civilians under occupation;
      The international opposition to the increasingly apartheid regime can no longer be synchronized with American claimed humanitarian values or US expectations in its bi-lateral relations with the 193 member United Nations;
      The Draft ends with language about the need to avoid entangling alliances that alienate much of the World and condemn American citizens to endure the consequences.
