Dems Vote on the ‘Worst Republican Ever’ (Hint: West, Bachmann, Ryan Are in the Top 3)

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), which describes itself as “the official campaign arm of the Democrats in the House,” is holding a contest to determine the “worst Republican ever.”

More specifically, the candidates for the honor appear to be members of the House of Representatives in 2012.

Allen West (R-Fl), Michele Bachmann (R-MN), and Paul Ryan (R-WI) all shot to the top of the ranks, according to the organization’s website.

The Weekly Standard relates the DCCC’s description of the top three “finalists”:

Allen West: Where to start… Tea Party Congressman Allen West has called President Obama a “low-level socialist agitator,” accused over 80 Democratic members of Congress of being members of the “Communist Party,” and claimed that progressive women were “neutering American men.” …

Michele Bachmann: From back in 2008 when she called Barack Obama “anti-American,” all the way up to her recent claims that our government is being infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood, Congresswomen Bachmann has proven herself to be one of the most extreme Republicans in Congress. …

Paul Ryan: You probably know Congressman Ryan as Mitt Romney’s Vice Presidential pick. In Congress, Ryan was the architect of the Republican plan to end Medicare to pay for more millionaire tax breaks.

Voting closes Tuesday, September 25th at 3pm EST, and readers are encouraged to “vote now” for one of their “finalists.”

According to the Weekly Standard, the email describes the contest as “a little fun” and concludes by saying: “Can’t wait to see who wins!”

The DCCC has often attacked congressional Republicans for voting “no” to “unprecedented efforts” to reach across the aisle.

      Be warned! This so called “vote” is NOT a good-natured, light-hearted contest like the ones the RNC uses to boost morale. This is a sinister and serious strategic move by their top Dem-bo apparatchiks.

      This is just the style of media manipulative contest bullying that let the DemonRats destroy our 2012 primary season – that let them ensure we ended up with Ayn-Rand caricature candidates with ZERO Military experience, instead of Allen West and Sarah Palin.

      It’s a shame we did not actually hold an OPEN Convention to nominate Sarah Palin and Allen West, the most prominent true conservatives who did NOT back down during the slain Ambassador incident LAST week.

      In my heart I know Sarah and Allen would never insult our proud 47-percenters the way Mitt does because they actually came up from poverty. (Admittedly, they lack Romney’s eight years of electioneering experience and professional coaches, which is a disadvantage.) But if they had said something that silly, they would NOT back down!

      Want to know who should be running for President. All you have to do is look at who the progressive socialists are afraid of.

    I think what they mean by “worst” is the ones that get under their skinn the most because they are true conservatives.

    The worst Republican’s ever….Well certainly John McCain would be on my list, Olypia Snowe would be right up there too. There are planty of RINOS to make a long list of worst Republicans ever….but the three conservatives mentioned in the article are among the brightest and best.

      That’s exactly what I thought. There would be so MANY, how would you narrow them down? Skin color, religion, sexual preference and picking up strange men in airport bathrooms, tax evasion, number of extramarital affairs, children born to mistresses, how many people they’ve murdered or had sex with in the Oral Office (sp intentional)…it would be such a tough decision.

      I believe the Bilderberg Group has already picked Romney so hopefully that will be our next president. barry now has way too much baggage and his transparency is gone. What’s sad is that the monetary system as we know it will most likely collaspe no matter who the president is. This is what the Bilderberg Gorup is all about – the control of money. Plus, biblically, the one order government actually is a one currency system. So, its got to happen. But Romney will keep the U.S. intact where barry won’t. barry wants discourse, civil unrest and breakdown. These have already been set up. All you need is to look around. Everyone is relatively pitted against the other in one area of understanding or the other.

      IF barry is not kicked out od office, I will end up selling what little I have left and visiting Israel. At least there, I know the war I’ll be fighting.

      The Bully, the Nut Job and the Pretty Boy have no honor. West is unable to debate policy and resorts to unfounded name calling, his debating style matches the school yard bully. Bachman, is attempting to bring back the ghost of McCarthy with her witch hunt against secret Muslims in the government, than there is her embrace of paranoid conspiracy theories regarding vaccines, etc. Finally there is Ryan, who has been booed at the AARP for his crusade to destroy medicaid and medicare. The Catholic Bishops have called the budget of Ryan, with its handouts to the wealthy, immoral.

      The GOP itself has no honor, where is the honor in a party that would vote against a bi-partisan job bill for Veterans solely for political reasons.
