France’s Socialist President Hollande Asked Who He Supports in U.S. Election: ‘Who Do You Think?’

France’s socialist President Francois Hollande refused to officially endorse a U.S. presidential candidate at the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, but he didn’t pass on an opportunity to jab at Mitt Romney.
According to an AFP report, when the socialist leader was asked by a reporter whether he would support Democratic incumbent Barack Obama or his GOP opponent Romney, he said with a smile, “Who do you think?”
The answer seems pretty obvious, but Hollande went on to clarify anyway.
“Are you aware that Mitt Romney never ceases to attack socialist Europe at his campaign rallies?” Hollande remarked.
“Yes, that’s why I’ll be careful not to say anything at all on this subject because, as you’d imagine, if a socialist supported one of these two candidates, that could cost him dear,” he said.
He then cleverly quipped, “So I suppose I should endorse Mitt Romney…But I won’t.”
In other words, Hollande seemingly joked he should endorse Romney so that it would harm his chances at winning the election, resulting in a win for Obama.

Posted on September 25, 2012 at 11:22pmHi MONK, LOL, that sounds about right. Good when prepared correctly. But, I’ve known a few who could wreck the sauce.
I thought that France learned after 12 years of Jacques Chirac. Hollande is doubling down on everything Chirac ever thought of though.

Posted on September 25, 2012 at 10:22pmThis world is full of stupid politicians. When will they realize that spending more than they take in and punishing the most productive citizens with more taxes will soon cause the world economy to fail? It only works when everyone works and gives into the treasury. We are in for some really bad times. A total reset is needed. Better get out of the big cities right away and get self sufficient.

Posted on September 25, 2012 at 10:21pmI will have to speak in support of our colleague Soybomb. This person does see reality. He/She is not the usual RP zealot. This is a thinking person. While I do not agree with all of his/her posts, I do see that they are thought out positions and worthy of our respect. If you want to denigrate someone, start with a real enemy, not a potential ally who is capable of critical thinking.
