Joy Behar Defends Obama’s Appearance on ‘The View’: ‘Maybe He’d Rather Talk to Me Than Netanyahu’

President Obama has received harsh criticism from both sides for refusing to meet with any world leaders during the United Nations General Assembly in New York City this week. He did, however, agree to appear on “The View” for a sit-down interview.

But at least one person is on Obama’s side. Joy Behar, an outspoken liberal and co-host of “The View,” stood up for the president via Twitter on Tuesday.

“Obama is being bashed for doing the View instead of meeting world leaders. Maybe he’d rather talk to me than Netanyahu. Ever think of that?”

Included in another tweet was a photo of Obama’s appearance on “The View,” referred to as a “lovefest” by Behar.

President Obama, for the first time of his presidency, chose not to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while he was in the United States.

Multiple media reports have asserted that Obama rejected his meeting request, however, the Obama White House has rejected that claim.

  If those bitches from the View had any sense of decency, honor, or patriotism they would have NOT invited Obama on the show knowing full well he had important obligations to fulfill with world leaders. He knows his base. It’s full of Useful Idiots and complete morons and The View is the type of program these goons watch religiously. This is why Obama does so much campaigning at universities too. They are impressionable kids who believe most of what they are told. They have no life or world experiences of their own. Rarely do you see Obama campaign with adults.   Where are the clear thing loyal true blooded black Americans? Don’t tell me there are none. Don’t tell me there are no black Americans who see Obama as he really is. Don’t tell me the blacks in America will not look truth square and see the facts that clearly show who and what Obama is. You mean to tell me black is America agrees with same sex marriage? You mean to tell me blacks in America believe in a welfare state that take from the doers, the earners, the working class, the small business owners (the very engine of our economy) and live off the “tit” of the government? I can’t believe that. Well maybe I can, but I don’t want to believe that. I don’t want to believe that the most prejudice group in America are the very ones who were held back because of white man’s prejudice. But I have nothing else to conclude that the blacks here in America are just that … self seeking, self serving, blinded fools who are going down the path of ruin A SECOND TIME and not giving it a second thought. Curious statement to say the least. I don’t want a popular President, I want a proper President. I don’t want America fundamentally changed, I want America turned back towards it’s fundamentals. I want an America with an Army so strong and so feared that no Nation will dare to provoke. To lead, you must have strength. I want an America that lives within it’s means and no longer finances our enemies. Most of all I require a President that believes in the peoples strength not the exploit of their fears. I believe in my heart that Governor Mitt Romney is the man we need at this moment in time. We need a tough foreign policy (with the might to back it up) and we need a whole lot of economic policy work. We are the Olympics when they were corrupt and swimming in debt. Romney saved them and shown profit. Romney is a problem solver.

  The Salt Lake games got more taxpayer dollars than all of the previous U.S.-hosted Olympics combined: a whopping $1.3 billion. For comparison, the 1984 games in L.A. received $75 million and the 1996 games in Atlanta received $609 million. It’s clear that the real hero of the 2002 games was the American taxpayers. 1.3 BILLION in taxpayer money. But he’s the business man now?

I guess this election comes down to whether you want a President who goes on ‘the view’ a couple times a year, or whether you want one who takes security briefings seriously (Especially in Sept).
Why not have both and vote for Romney? You can still catch obama on ‘the view’..

  I never watch the view. I was channel surfing the other night and saw the Current TV network, it’s owned by Al Gore. Joy Behar has a show and she was making fun of Romney in a cruel way. I switched channels. Joy Behar is a carbon copy of Rosie O Donnell, ugly, nasty, and stupid. Maybe Obama can only talk to a bimbo like her.   The VIEW will probably add Barry and move the entire program to the golf course as you have suggested. Barbara would make a good caddie for Barry. She can hold Barry’s putter while he adjustes his golf balls, Then he can mount Joy and ride her around the golf course as if she’s his personal golf cart called ‘Nugget’. Since Woopie is the ‘token,’ she can serve Barbara, Joy and Barry mint juleps along the way. There are a few problems that need to be worked out though. Joy is so full of herself, Barry will be continuously checking his golf shoes thinking he stepped in something.
