Representative Allen West (R-FL) had some choice words for President Obama’s speech to the United Nations Tuesday, saying that rather than justify the attacks on American outposts throughout the Middle East by mentioning a “silly” YouTube video, Obama should have stood unequivocally firm in defending American values.

West specifically begrudged Obama’s comment that the future “must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam” or any other religion.

So what would West have said?

Modeling his opening after the president’s line, West says he would have issued a much sterner warning to those who dare attack us. He wrote on his Facebook page:

My statement to the United Nations would have been, “The future does not belong to those who attack our Embassies and Consulates and kill our Ambassadors. The Angel of Death in the form of an American Bald Eagle will visit you and wreak havoc and destruction upon your existence.” [Emphasis added]

West added in his analysis of the president’s speech:

[Obama] continues to offer up apologies instead of defending our hard earned First Amendment right to freedom of speech and expression. There is no message to this silly video trailer, and it is beneath the dignity and esteem of the Office of the President of the United States to mention it at all. When tolerance becomes a one way street it leads to cultural suicide. I shall not be tolerant of the intolerant.

West also put the United Nations on notice, saying he knows about “UN Resolution 1618 which would make any statement deemed by the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) ‘offensive’ to Islam a crime.”

“NOT ON MY WATCH FELLAS!” he concluded.

Can also be viewed at the official gov website and his vote was NO on the renewal, remember the bill was originally released to be something it turned out NOT to be.   West has proven himself to be a second-rate Representative, and has no idea what the word “diplomacy” means. He’s a rouge wild child, putting emphasis on the word “child”. Florida would do itself a huge favor by voting him out this November.   Yes, but he needs to broaden the spectrum. we have many, many codes, ordinances, and statutes right here in our own country, that are so very unconstitutional. We need true leadership to stand behind private citizens, who want to fight city hall, but haven’t the recourse to do so.

  I sure hope Allen West becomes Secretary of Defense under a Romney/Ryan administration but I’d also love to see him with enough power to take a couple 1000 planes and tanks to serve an eviction notice to the united nations.   So this resolution would “make any statement deemed by the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) ‘offensive’ to Islam a crime.” Isn’t it “offensive” to them just to say Jesus is the Christ? So all Christian churches would be guilty of “offending” Islam. Heck, all Christians would be guilty! You would, in effect, not be allowed to be openly Christian or Jewish, EVERYTHING other then ISLAM offends them!

The video clearly proves that not only did everybody in Egypt know that the demonstration was coming.   Sarah Palin has blood and skin in the combat zone deployed troops game, and Allen West is a recent Combat Veteran with leadership traits that few others in politics possess. We can trust that they will only deploy our superb heroes into harms way when absolutely necessary.
  
  They also do NOT waffle and flip flop. In my heart I know Sarah and Allen would never insult our proud 47-percenters the way Mitt does because they actually came up from poverty. (Admittedly, they lack Romney’s eight years of electioneering experience and professional coaches, which is a disadvantage.) But if they had said something that silly, they would NOT back down!

  Please Sir you have to get into this current mismatch one way or another. We have what one would call an ENEMY of the State making policy for us all. When we look back to the days of General Washington until this very day and consider the countless number of America’s finest who bleed and died to give us this unique right to be able to say what we fill without the Gov stepping in to silence our voice. I know there are hundreds of thousands of brave soldier rolling this very day in their graves knowing what they gave their lives as well as all the wounded too seeing freedom literally being pissed away as I write this.
  
  We must have someone with the strength and conviction to stand and fight to good fight to the very end. I would do this myself if I was able. But being I am like the thousands out there willing to do what it takes to get us back on track we do not have the voice of the Nation, you Sir do. You do have the Leadership and knowledge to lead us from the road of destruction we are on. I call you to stand for freedom, stand for Honor, stand for truth, stand for all who suffered and gave all.
  
  We all sit and talk as we all know what needs to be done. Reasonable sane men have to gain control of the Nation once again and do it now or all will be lost.   We haven’t meaningfully bombed anything since 1991. We did not carpet bomb Iraq or Afghanistan in either war. War is as much psychological as it is tactical. In 1991 we carpet bombed Iraq and buried Iraqis alive in their bunkers. They feared us.
  
  Shock and Awe in 03 was the closest thing we had to this which led to Saddam being out of power in a matter of days. Then we went soft and started “surgical strikes” with insane ROI’s.
  
  They only know power and violence. We should avoid this as much as possible but when we decide it’s unavoidable, the violence must be fearful and overwhelming. See WWII.

  The job of the military is to kill people and break things, not nation build. This is our current problem. We need to get out of the Middle East. Stop sending aid. Stop buying their oil (become energy independant). ANd if they so much as blink in the direction of us or an ally, UNLEASH the millitary and be done. So sick of the nation building. It is not expensive in terms of money and lives, to bomb the snot out of a country and be done. It costs us dearly in lives and money; to try to be contractors, diplomats, and policemen.

  Nobody should take West seriously, but that Biblical quote certainly wouldn’t, uh, refer to him. Think about West’s macho comments for a second. Seriously. He sounds just like the radical Islamist terrorists this website loves to quote. He says if he were President, he’d be really tough and tell the bad guys that you’d better stop or we’re going to kill you! West is our own home grown version of a tough talking terrorist, only he’s one of ours, their mirror image. He sounds just like Ahmadinejad. Same thing in reverse.
  
  So let’s see, he’d bring violence to the enemy. Bush invaded and overthrew Iraq. Did the bad guy quail at that? They killed 5000 of us, with killed 100,000 or more of them, over half of them civilian. So, did that scare them off? Or did it, in fact, destabilize the Middle East and make Iran the supreme military presence there?
  
  President Obama is using the best intelligence the US has, and now, unlike Bush, going after the terrorists and killing them (along with lots of civilians).
  
  So the President is killing those guys, but West is unhappy. Why? The US should be killing even more people who aren’t terrorists and threaten, at the UN, we’re going to start killing even more people rather than stating that we want peace? WTF does West want?

Until citizens of Islam understand that allowing radicals to hide among them reduces themselves to collateral damage, the reasonable thing for them to do is allow it. Until they disallow their usage as human shields as the better alternative they have no reason to man up.
It is time to consider human shields as acceptable albeit unfortunate collateral. It is a choice for them to make. Unless they choose to stand back out of the way they are making their own choice.

  Read the books and writings by Sam Solomen (spelling may be wrong). He is a Christian – former mulim lawyer, studied and practiced Islamic law before converting. I heard him speak last year. What he said (I am paraphrasing not exactly quoting). the difference between a moderate mulim and a radical one is that the radical will see you and kill you, the moderate will take you to lunch, walk you to the door, shake your hand and then kill you….
