Scott Brown Staffers Caught on Camera Making Indian ‘War Whoops’ to Mock Elizabeth Warren, Brown Disavows Action

Campaign staffers for Sen. Scott Brown were caught on camera chanting Indian “war whoops” and making “tomahawk chops” during a rally in Boston earlier this week, seemingly mocking Elizabeth Warren’s Cherokee heritage claims.

The YouTube video shows a number of Brown’s staffers holding campaign signs and making the war whoops and tomahawk chops, representing two very common indian stereotypes, directly across from Warren supporters.

According to WCVB in Boston, “Brown’s Deputy Chief of Staff Greg Casey and Constituent Service Counsel Jack Richard, State Director Jerry McDermott, special assistant Jennifer Franks and GOP operative Brad Garrett” are all present in the video.

Brown condemned the display but also criticized Warren for “checking the box” and claiming she is Native American when she applied at Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania.

“It is certainly something that I don’t condone,” Brown said. “The real offense is that (Warren) said she was white and then checked the box saying she is Native American, and then she changed her profile in the law directory once she made her tenure.”

  How is it racist making fun of a fool. Warren has humiliated herself. Whenever someone puts themselves in the Public eye, they better be ready to answer to their actions, especially when they make ridiculous claims, which she has done. And according to Eric Holder, there can only be racism against people of color. Warren is white as the the driven snow.

Warren has a busy week ahead, Braves game Friday, Seminole game Saturday and then the Redskins on Sunday. Monday she is pretending to be a doctor and doing open heart surgery.

This further proves what I have been saying about the GOP being at risk for losing the house, senate, and presidency. They will need a miracle to turn things around but for now, we progressives are on the winning side right now. The GOP and its supporters need to be prepared to admit defeat graciously when the time comes and admit that the progressive way is the way to prosperity

At the risk of playing to the meme, the GOP tent is getting smaller and smaller. Romney is done for and is going to be responsible for losing a lot of seats in the House and the Senate.   YOU may not see this as a ‘big deal’ and believe it is focused on Warren because she has brought it on herself. However, you clearly have NOT witnessed young Native Americans insulted by this kind of behavior not in the 1920s, 1940s, 1960s — not in the 1990s. I was in a public shopping mall one afternoon when two lovely Navajo young ladies were shopping. The young ladies could have been college age. They were nicely dressed and minding their own business. Two young ladies enjoying a private shopping time together. Then to my horror, I witnessed two young, blonde, white girls about junior high age come up behind them. One of the moronic white girls began doing a ‘war whoop’ and pretended to be drunk. I could not believe what I was seeing! The two beastly white girls were giggling away as they tormented the two young Navajo girls. One of the Navajo girls turned and wanted to confront these mean and abusive girls but the other young Navajo girl pulled her away and they went into the nearby store.
  
  Yeah…only ‘in fun”? To this day — I get sick to my stomach having witnessed this outrage and yet too far away from the events that played out to intervene. What kind of parents raised such mean, nasty white girls?
  
  People no longer find it acceptable to do ‘black face’ comedy — well except Ted Dansen (actor) when he was dating Whoopi (she then dumped this boyfriend).
  
  Tomahawk Chop was offensive. It was thankfully STOPPED.

  Warren deserves ridicule. If you are soo sensitive to American Indians feelings, then why didn’t you have anything to say about Warren’s false claim to her “Cherokee heritage”?? She used minority statis to further herself in life. She has no, “Cherokee heritage”. No family tree, not even a name. Because of nuts like her, tribes have had to adopt Indian blood quantum laws to weed out phonys, like Warren, from claiming tribal membership.
  
  Yea, high school kids are cruel. They always have been. Again I say, your post is comparing apples to oranges and therefore means nothing to this story. Heck!! Even Indians are mocking Warren. There are few, (if any), things that erk an Indian more than white people pretending to be Indians. I have been friends with quite a few Shoshoni, Crow and Absaroka. Sad but it seems that these cheap attempts to attack character are all the GOP have left. All of those she has worked for have said her being a native american or not had no bearing on her being hired so it is a non story. It is MA. for petes sake and voters are pretty smart up there ( my moms side of the family lives in Sudbury) . Its not like being a native american in the USA has been the what opens doors anyway, in fact it is quite the opposite.

Brown will lose in November and it seems most Americans are getting tired of the lies and crap slinging. Most the GOP dont even like Brown and most know any support is an attempt to keep power not actually supporting the person running

At least in the medical device manufacturing world. Gee, I wish it worked that way for all other industries. What?
