Glenn Beck Challenges Americans to ‘Do Something Great’ in the 40 Days Until the Election
With the 2012 presidential elections just 40 days away, Glenn Beck called on his audience to “do something great” in the days leading up to Election Day.
“These next 40 days, they can be days of reconnection, of service, of hope, of love, of promise for a brighter tomorrow. They can be days of action, of determination, of real profound change and real hope, based in the only one that can give us hope. Rise up, rise up. Fill these days with purpose, don’t let them slip away,” Beck said.
He continued: “I am personally asking you to do something great with your life in the next 40 days. Pray, beg, beseech divine providence. Serve your fellow man, for then you are in the service of your God.”
Watch Beck’s monologue via TheBlazeTV here:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Why they let TV ads influence their thinking is beyond me. Its almost like the Obama administration is trying to brain wash them.

Posted on September 27, 2012 at 1:37amAnyone realize that today is the biblical Day of Attonement, a day of commanded fasting, prayer and repentance for ancient Israel, and I believe for us too as followers of Christ (see Lev. 23) after reading the Harbinger this week and hearing a sermon on the book of Jonah today I got chills thinking about what a “coincidence” it is that from the Day of Attonement to the day of judgement so to speak when we will determine our future as a nation with the election just happens to be 40 days, the same 40 days given to Ninivah to repent and change their ways… Unfortunately for us I don’t think President Obama will be leading us in prayer and fasting in this lifetime.
Jonah 3:4-10
Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city, proclaiming, “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.” 5 The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.
6 When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. 7 This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh “By the decree of the king and his nobles:
Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink… 8Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. 10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction h

Posted on September 27, 2012 at 2:38amGod answers all prayers, but sometimes the answer is: “HUH, DID YOU SAY SOMETHING? I’m sorry, I was distracted by trivial little things like balancing the forces that bind atoms together and keeping your planet in a steady orbit around the Sun for the next several billion years. What was that you were asking about? Who is going to be the head bureaucrat for a twentieth of the people in the world for four years? Gee, that is important, but I think I’ll just leave it for you to work out among your selves.”

Posted on September 27, 2012 at 5:14amHe cares, that is why he gave you free will. If he didn’t care or didn’t think he made you into a perfect creature then he would be a dictator. God doesn’t like dictators, he gave us free will and that includes selecting kings and presidents. He made the Kings of Israel copy the Torah, carry it with them where ever they went to remind them that they were not above the people they served and were subject to the same rules. King Solomon left out a few jots and tittles and changed meaning of words. He added to and took away from. King Solomon lost his soul.

Posted on September 27, 2012 at 8:13amChet, your close, but to God it’s easy to do all things at once. He doesn’t get distracted, he isn’t a computer that can only handle a few computations at a time or locks up. Sometimes his answer is, “You want a king, OK, you got one.” Or sometimes his answer is wait until you’re closer to me. And sometimes it’s no. The wait is usually the hardest. We do not have the mind of God, so we can not understand why he answers the way he does. I’d say be right with Him, in case he says it’s time to come home.

Posted on September 27, 2012 at 12:39amGlenn Beck is so correct with what he had to say. We are looking for a man or person to solve our problems and not looking to God to bring forth the person that can make our nation great again. We listened to the hypnotizing words of Barak Obama and what has it gotten us. We have a person as our president that claims we are not a Christian Nation when those were the principles that guided our Fore Fathers and lead us through many tough times. We are constantly kicking God out of our lives, courts, schools, and politics and now asking why are things so bad. He is not a God that made us robots, but gave us a choice and when we say leave he does and our society shows that. If we want what God intended our nation to be, and that is a beacon on the hill to many other nations, showing freedom and hope, then yes we need to be on our knees and pray for eyes, ears and hearts to be opened and changed. Tools like Madonna and the like are tools that satan uses, we need to get into Tebow position and do some good old fashion Knee-Mail

Posted on September 27, 2012 at 12:36amI just finished watching Glenn on my DVR with this whole speech and it was extremely amazing and beautiful. I had some tears streaming down my cheeks, because I understand. People may believe in God, and if they don’t it’s quite a shame. But the power of prayer is the most powerful tool of all. To be connected to the other side with a full streaming bond of love and trust is… there are no words to describe it… that’s how amazing it is.Extremely fascinating. I’d surely love his speech on transcript to print out, that would be nice (nudge nudge hint hint) You can be totally prepared with food, ammo, shelter, medical supplies, but to fill your glass up so it’s not just half full. You need the spiritual faith from within, to believe in God, and in yourself, and to feel the power of prayer. And if loads of people are doing it at the same time the better. Some people may think prayer is just folding your hands and talking to yourself. That’s too bad because it’s not. I’ve felt the power of that beam the love of God and the other side – which is totally amazing and indescribable and oddly like witchcraft (but it wasn’t) what I begged and wished for regarding peace came true within minutes after the beam, 32 minutes actually. A hearse pulled up to the bad guys house and took him away, then across the street at 7am a hearse pulled up and repeat etc. Well, it’s now a peaceful neighborhood… I’ll start praying for peace nationwide, you too.

Glenn is right. The number 40 has great significance in the Bible.
Praying for God’s divine intervention, is our only way out of this nightmare called Obama.
Pray often and pray hard. If America turns back to God, we will be truly blessed.
