‘Mind Reader’ Stuns Pedestrians in Belgium — And His Secret Should Scare You, Too

Belgian Psychic Warns of Sharing Personal Information Online, on Facebook in Public Service Announcement

(Photo: YouTube)

A Belgian public service announcement of a “psychic” reading the minds of ordinary people has gone viral worldwide.

Why?  Because the eccentric individual is no ordinary mind reader– he gets his information from Facebook and the web, and is warning against sharing too much private information.

Yahoo! News has more:

[The video] begins with random people being selected from the streets of Brussels.  They are asked if they would like to participate in an upcoming TV program featuring Dave, described as a gifted clairvoyant.  Once they agree, they are ushered into a white tent to meet Dave. He hugs them and dances around as he seemingly tries to get a sense of the person’s energy.  As people are seated across from him, Dave tells them random facts about them, from the color of the motorcycle they own to their bank account number and even the types and locations of their tattoos. [Emphasis added]

Here are some of Dave’s other “psychic revelations”:

Yahoo! continues:

As the unassuming subjects become absorbed in Dave’s trance and the factual information he is providing, the truth behind his magic is revealedA curtain drops, and behind it is a group of computer hackers dressed in all black searching the Internet for information about each of the individuals.  In fact, a large monitor sits in front of the hackers, displaying pictures and personal information about the subjects.  Each person seems astonished, first at the curtain dropping and then at the reveal as they realize what has taken place.  [Emphasis added]

The video was created by a group called the Belgian Financial Sector Federation, according to Yahoo!, and the hackers claim to have only needed the time the individual was in the room to gather all the information.

Uploaded on September 24th, “Amazing Mind Reader Reveals His ‘Gift’” has been viewed nearly 1.5 million times in just two days.

“Be vigilant,” the group warns, “because Internet fraudsters can use information against you.”

And people are so unaware that the government is pulling all this stuff in data bases to use against the unsuspecting people of America. I stopped my Facebook account years ago and I found out the other day that if I log in it is still active. You cannot get away from these people once you are in their spider net. This is total government capture and occupy. Just think of what employers have at their finger tips when trying to hire some unsuspecting idiot that had blasted their whole life on social media as this.

Yet another reason to NOT use social media…

I really LOVE people that ‘check-in’ at every location… tells me they are not home… makes easy work for burglars…

How is it that the world seemingly continues to make BETTER IDIOTS?!?

I’ve worked in the Security Field for over 15 years, and discovered many fantastic things along the way, Some things are so Unbelievable that many think it’s all made up, & thats exactly what we want you to believe. It makes our job much easier if you, ” The General Public “, think it can’t be real or done, due to the So-called Laws, protecting the Citizen’s rights.
Most ” Security Operatives “, in my field use equipment or knowledge that sometimes may fall into the Gray area of the law, but that’s the things that stories are made by. I said all of that to say this. We have simple devices that look like common, everyday items that are anything but common. Take a Desk-top Calender, except this one allows the Agent to Record All Verbal Communications in the office, with microphones so sensitive that the speaker’s heart beats, can be monitored., Useful in Detecting high Stress, often associated with Lying! Or how about those So-Called Private Cell Phones, Did you know that their are few made that Can’t be turned on, Wireless Signals ?, this simply means that if I wanted to ” Listen In “, I could do so without your Knowledge !. Sounds like a story out of some James Bond movie? Keep thinking that way.
Bottom line; Take Nothing for Granted, Suspect Everyone is Watching you, Because most ARE!

I was a Systems Programmer for 35 years and had direct access to the most sensitive software of big banks, government agencies, and utility companies, to mention a few. I knew firsthand how a programmer with such access and bad intentions could create enormous terror or commit a major crime with very little effort. Criminal hackers (crackers) are a great threat to us all. Facebook & Twitter can be dangerous. Would I ever use them? Not a chance.

Proves one thing…. Facebook,Twitter, Google…. the greatest personal [free] information mining machines ever devised. We provide the machine new and exciting information each day.

Who needs the NSA 1M S.F. server farm near Salt Lake [is it Faraday-ready? IDK]….. they should just signup for Facebook & Twiter…. they could be working with Google?

The next best thing to real mind reading. Its kind of disturbing though that they can culminate the info off the net that quickly… isn’t it?!

It all depends on whom is utilizing the information; for Good or Evil purposes.

I’m guessing that all the people in the video had public profiles. They probably didn’t include the ones that have private profiles because there’s 0 information that can be gleaned from private profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc).

Besides that, who talks about their bank account number on Facebook? I don’t even like to do it when texting my wife (much rather dial her up and tell it to her).

They might be able to garner information from my photo (which is not on my profile) , but they would be wrong about everything else, because all my FaceBook info is fake. And it’s intentionally fake for that very reason. i implore everyone to fake your FaceBook or any other internet information for free access. Create a fake email address, with fake info, use that email address to access other free sites and when you sign up for a newsletter or similar items. If you have email already, fake your information.

Here is proof positive: The more people know about you, the more they can CONTROL YOU. That is why the global government is spying on you everywhere. Facebook is nothing more than an NSA datamining tool, designed to control everyone. This is not about security this is about bureaucratic control. Must be dismantled. People must be free from any intrusions into their lives. People must be Free agents. Bureaucrats need to cease to exist.

No facebook, no twitter, no tweets in our house.

I wish people would understand that giving someone actual face-time is better than facebook. That constantly looking at that stupid phone in your hands instead of holding your head up and engaging the people around you is better than tweets and texts.

Nothing is more insulting than having someone looking at his phone when you are trying to have an actual face-to-face conversation…..!

No, No, No…. You have no one to blame but yourself. I never give out personal information to any social media sites. I mostly spout political rants on my facebook page. I am also careful of who I friend.

It is common sense that people should keep personal stuff personal. Never tell the world any personal information. The problem is that our youth got sucked into Social Networking, and thought it was a great idea to tell everyone, everything they do.

Exactly the reason I don’t and won’t use social networking. No facebook, no twitter. They are tools to be used by evil people in this world and if you use them you need to stop. They know enough about us just from our internet usage. Why give them more? Okay people line up and stay on the yellow line. The trains will be here momentarily.

People need to realize: neither the internet nor any of its parts are a private line — it is a party line. What you put up can be accessed with the right ‘tools.’ If you would not want to share something with your preacher or parents or neighbors … do not put it up online. Who knows? The realization of that fact might be enough to persuade some to clean up their lives a bit.
