‘Wheel of Fortune’ Host Pat Sajak Cracks Subtle Obama Joke During Show

Wheel of Fortune Host Pat Sajak Cracks Subtle Obama Joke During Show

"Wheel of Fortune" host Pat Sajak (AP Photo/Peter Kramer)

On Wednesday’s edition of “Wheel of Fortune,” host Pat Sajak seemingly jabbed at President Barack Obama ever-so sneakily over the president’s now infamous “you didn’t build that” remarks.

After a contestant named “John” successfully guessed the phrase “A Thriving Business” in the “Thing” category, Sajak delivered his quip:

“Did you build that?” he asked the contestant before quickly moving on. It is unclear whether the contestant or the audience caught the joke.

“Our big winner — $13,000! John! John!” Sajak said.

Watch the video of Sajak’s Obama joke here:

To be sure, Sajak is one of those rare Hollywood conservatives you hear about from time to time. The host was extremely critical of Obama when he initially told America “you didn’t build that.” Here’s what he said about the comments back in July:

“It’s as if President Obama climbed into a tank, put on his helmet, talked about how his foray into Cambodia was seared in his memory, looked at his watch, misspelled ‘potato’ and pardoned Richard Nixon all in the same day. It’s fun to imagine the hand-wringing that must be going on within the White House as staffers try to figure out how to undo the damage their boss has done with his anti-entrepenurial riff. Defining moments in politics are strange beasts. Sometimes they’re only recognized in hindsight, while sometimes they throw the train off the tracks before a sentence has been completed. Sometimes their effect can be contained and minimized, while sometimes their effect on the political narrative mestastasizes. This one is very bad for the White House.”

Probably started with JFK – Marilyn Monroe…

Just curious… are you also sick of the non-stop Hollywood liberals, or just the conservatives? It just seems that when 99% of the Hollywood crowd is crowing about how great their dear leader is, you decide to post this against a conservative…

Frankly, I like it when conservatives in Hollywood become vocal – it takes COURAGE TO BE CONSERVATIVE IN HOLLYWOOD… THEIR LIVELYHOOD IS ON THE LINE.

Interestingly, I think Barack himself would be a good game show host or perhaps news anchorman. He has a pleasant voice, etc. He might earn more for his family that what he makes now, and have much less stress.

    Should start a new thread:

“Let’s help Barack find a NEW job… what are your suggestions, everyone?”

I love what Mitt said in 60 min interview regarding reducing gov departments. Something like:
“Is this department so important that we need to borrow money from China to keep it?”

Pretty much every ill can be traced to the AGENDA of dumbing down the populace so not only do they want big government but they will not survive without cradle to grave government care. Raising a generation so dumb they can’t govern themselves, they can’t critically think, they can’t serve on juries competently and can’t vote intelligently. Useful idiots for the state – A complicit media, captured Hollywood and forcing normalization of homosexuality and all manner of perversion, war against Judeo/Christian values, pledging allegiance to the earth rather then the flag of the US and the Republic for which it stands, environmentalism a tool of totalitarianism, a corrupt, amoral, godless generation and its not their children – for the most part they abort theirs – its co-oped indoctrinated “our” children and much more and I can not post a direct link per Blaze censors so you have to go through the Youtube extended trailer – but worth it -it is every bit as germane as 2016-Obama’s America.

      Ha !
If it was purposely said, as a political twist-

      Thanks to his “Wheel” gig,
he is a very smart & savvy businessman,
owns a lot of radio stations, etc.-
if anyone knows how to build a business & prosper, he would.

Romney & America MUST keep POUNDING
at the opposition with Oblameo’s “You didn’t build that” gaffe.
They have let up on it
and it was one, huge, arrogant gaffe, that proved its weight in gold.

Oblameo & his henchmen couldn’t define or defend it.
It left them all waffling, looking for the escape key.
DON’T give them any respite !

The left never gives up on anything-
the press is still nailing Romney on the 47% crap,
even though it was perfect logic, on his part.

      That the Bleedia-Schmedia
continue with that & ignore the Libya screw-up mess
is indicative of how shallow & insane, they truly are !

Keep hammering them, keep reminding America
      how incompetent, ignorant & arrogant
      this administration is-
eventually, they’ll kill themselves with their OWN poison.

What’s it going to be, America ?
“Wheel of Fortune” with Romney & Ryan
      or
“Wheel of Despair” with Oblameo & Bazooka Joe….
