Farrakhan’s Fix: Separation Is the ‘Final Solution to the Problem Between Black & White’

On Wednesday evening, Nation of Islam leader the Minister Louis Farrakhan held his “#AskFarrakhan Townhall” meeting, during which the fiery faith leader took questions from the general public via social media. We already told you about his statement that, if Muammar Gaddafi were still alive, U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens would be unharmed today.

But that wasn’t Farrakhan’s only noteworthy comment. He also addressed race relations, taking somewhat of a cryptic tone and leaving out explicit details in his claims. While addressing African American unemployment and the solution to the issue of race relations, the National of Islam leader was anything but candid.

“What is America going to do with 40 to 50 million black people who don’t have any jobs and there’s no future for them in what America is planning?,” he asked. “There’s no future for us. In fact if you look around, pharaoh has already dropped us. The question is, when are we going to drop him and decide to do something for ourself?”

Farrakhan didn’t mention, at least at that point, what this “something” would be, but he did continue his train of thought, calling for racial separation as the “final solution” to the ongoing issues facing African Americans in America.

“No, you’re going to be separated alright, because that is the final solution to the problem between black and white,” Farrakhan proclaimed. “And the book says, when the children of Israel went out, it was a mixed multitude. That means that there are many others that will go out with you, because they recognize this has no future.”

This isn’t the first time that Farrakhan has made similar statements about whites and blacks parting ways. Earlier this year, he warned African Americans that breeding with whites would mean “the end of” their race. And in a separate address, he also said, unless whites change their ways, their “end has come.”

However, this rhetoric is nothing new. In July 1996, Farrakhan used strikingly similar language in an interview with John F. Kennedy Jr. for George Magazine. Below, see a portion of the transcript. While the faith leader skirts JFK’s question, he addresses “separation as a final solution”:

JFK: You’ve often been accused of being a separatist, but what you described sounds something different from that. Is your vision a separate one for Blacks and whites, or those who are part of your Third Force, and those who are not?

MLF: The Honorable Elijah Muhammad saw separation as a final solution to the problem of Black/white relationships. To put separatism on me and on the Nation and on the Honorable Elijah Muhammad is grossly unfair because the real separatists are the white people themselves. We were in the holds of the ships and even after we got here we were separated. Even after emancipation we were separated and segregated. It was just 30 years ago that we were finally able to go to school with separatists. We couldn’t even be buried in the same graveyard with the real separatists.

Clearly, he doen’t give a clear answer on his separatist views in the interview, but his latest comments, though lacking context, seem to reiterate that he believes wholeheartedly in the sentiment.

  How about one way tickets on the French 380 back to their homeland in Africa. Blacks were brought to America against their will and never accepted automatic citizenship. They remind us of this 24/7. The French 380 can comfortably carry over 500 people back to their homeland. Let see 40 Million divided by 500 is about 80,000 flights which should take about two years.   He has no interest in that. He is in the race business, and he needs bigots to stay in business. That is why he is always trying to stir up some controversy. Booker T. Washington warned about the likes of him, that where here since the civil war. I would recommend to everybody to read “Up from Slavery” by Booker T. Washington, as it is a great read and reads almost like a motivational book. I am surprised as to how few have actually read the book, and especially blacks. It must be that what he stood for goes against these charlatans, such as Farrakhan, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. It speaks or personal responsibility, hard work and forgiveness. He had all the reasons to being resentful, being born a slave, who’s father was the slave master who probably raped his mother, and did not care for him any more than any other livestock. But look at his achievements and the great work that he did for all. He said that it was only possible because he refused to waste time being bitter and resentful. This was a man that did not learn to read until he was an adult. This is history that all should know. It is an American Story of a Godly man of faith, perseverance and entrepreneurship.

  I’m no business genious, but if people in the inner city want jobs, they should try to create a better environment to attract employers. They could be more vocal and elect leaders that are pro-business, pro-growth, lower-taxes, lower-regulation. The majority seem to do the opposite.

  The Nation of Islam has plenty of money to pool. We have been buying middle eastern oil for more than 40 years. For no other reason than the tree huggers are afraid of a little oil spill and some tainted water.
  
  The issue here is that all those who are being devisive need to be pushed out into the light for what they actually attempting to do.
  
  They are attempting to destroy the United States of America from within.
  
  The only way to do so is pit us against one another. Up until 40 years ago this nation was growing together under the theme that we were all Americans looking for the American dream. No matter our color, heritage or sexual orientation we had freedom to be who we were. What we were finding out was we being of different races, heritages, sexual orientations and religious beliefs could all get along as long as your rights did not cross over and invade into my rights.
  
  But with the progressive socialist movement we have races being pitted against one another, religious sects being pitted against one another and classes being pitted against one another and they are using the most technologically advance communication any country has to propagandize their movement.
  
  Heres the facts, if they can’t divide 320 million Americans they can never control our government or our nation. But if they can come between us and form a majority of angry disillusioned Americans they can defeat us from within.

  Farahkan has been peddling racism for decades. When he had cancer, who treated him? Bet it was a “pale-face”.
  
  The economic realities will push this long-simmering divide over the edge. The hardest hit will be the good black folks. People who just want to work and raise families. They will have no sway with the multitudes of black racists who want retribution.
  
  The rabid racism of a certain segment of blacks is being whipped up by extreme leftist/marxists (like Ayers). I don’t see this being remedied with discussions. Economic realities hitting now will send those who take without guilt to new levels of aggression. I don’t think the criminal justice system can handle what is around the bend.

  Man-On-A-Mission……..Of course there are more white people on welfare than black people. Blacks make up only about 15% of the population. What must be looked at is the percentage of the black population that is on welfare versus the percentage of the white population that is on welfare. I think if you look at that you will see a large disparity between the two groups with the per capita population of blacks on welfare much higher than that of whites.

  The percentages of blacks on welfare are higher and, at the same time, it’s ‘Cradle to Grave’. I once knew a white woman who was the only white in a Sec. 8 apart. complex. She got the hell out, asap! Many blacks in the ‘projects’ are lifers. They built one here 40 yrs. ago against everyone’s wishes, and it’s ruined the neighborhood around it w/crime and is completely black.   Native Americans never evolved. They were doing the same thing in 1800 AD they were doing in 1800 BC. They did not own America. They had settled tribes spread all across the land fighting starvation, the elements and lived day to day on the land. They are being generously compensated for their trouble (I don’t know why) with most doing what they do best, sitting around and getting drunk while collecting the govt check every month. This was the worse thing America could have done for them. Their race is dwindling, they suffer from inbreeding with genetic diseases rampant among them and it is killing their race. Indian wars were not the worse thing the while man did to them by far and I’m not going to apologize for something I had absolutely nothing to do with, like slavery. Tough crap, it happened, move on. The best thing is separation of the blacks and “everyone else.” Maybe the Muslims will move in with them since they can’t get along with anyone either. The whites, Asians, India Indians, Hispanics and anyone else who wants to act civil can join the evolution. The blacks and Muslims can de-evolve, kill each other off if they wish to do so.

Racism exists in all races. Get people to understand that we are all the same except for skin color and the problem is solved. That’s the hard part.

I just see a problem with the work ethic of “your” people like you said 40-50 million blacks with no jobs, you’re right about that! We had a great public school system (this is where people go to learn Louis) where yall wanted in, we segregrated, civil rights happened, now you want us to be seperate again? Of course there was a bad history here but most of us have put that behind us so Louis, get your head in the 21st century or go live in the middle east with your boys. Just remember, you designed the school system and put us in it, you told us what to preach in our churches and thats why we grew up with an inordinate love of white people because you made jesus white, the angels white.   Take a look at Herman Cain’s professional resume….it doesn’t get much better than that. He wasn’t “let out of the barrel” He did what was necessary to crawl out of the barrel by himself and become a successful and respected upstanding citizen. From where I stand, (working with economically disadvantaged teens) most are not willing to make the sacrifices neccessary to become successful.

  No President can fail us!! This whole country failed to keep their promise (white people that is) just ask the native american.. Blacks were doing something foe themselves in the middle 1800′s! We built 60 towns in this country during that time, and since we were the primary builders in this country, white men not knowing how to build had to devise a way to force us back on the plantation, in other words back into a servitude position; Hence the advent of the KU KLUX KLAN!! You can go back to Africa whenever you want. The US founded the nation of Liberia just for freed slaves so…don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Until then, I enjoy hanging out with my black friends and teaching my black students. I enjoy the black sub-culture (as long as it remains a SUB-culture of AMERICAN culture) and find seperatism on both sides to be lazy, cowardly and unintellectual.

And by the way, how does this make sense: Since white people came up with Jim Crow laws, its okay for black people to come up with things like that too. Didn’t MLK fight and die to end this kind of ignorance? When are we going to stop tolerating the racists in this country of ALL ethnicities and just be proud of being an American?
