Screaming Apparent Obama Supporter Explains Why We Need to Re-Elect President: ‘He Gave Us a Phone, He Gonna Do More!’

Yesterday, both President Obama and Mitt Romney were in the swing state of Ohio campaigning. At one Romney event near Cleveland, a group of Obama supporters gathered to voice their dislike for Romney.

One apparent Obama supporter was caught on video seemingly giving a very clear explanation of why she is voting for the president and why she does not like Mitt Romney.

The passionate explanation for the former involves Obama giving free phones:

In case you did not hear that clearly, we will transcribe it as best we can.

“Everybody in Cleveland, low minorities, got Obama phone. Keep Obama in president, you know. He gave us a phone, he gonna do more.”

The person shooting the video asks, How did he give you a phone? To which the woman replies: “You sign up! If you on food stamps, you on social security, you got low income, you disability…”

The video includes a cut at that point and picks up with the filmer asking “What’s wrong with Romney?” Without blinking, the passionate Obama supporter says:

“Romney, he sucks! Bad.”

If this kind of thinking sounds familiar, we have heard similar comments from Obama supporters as far back as 2009.

TheBlaze has also reached out to the person who posted the video, requesting the entire, unedited clip.

For the record, government sponsored cell phones started long before President Obama took office. However, the size of the program (and its cost) have grown considerably since 2008.

Time to make a change to our voting laws, akin to something we had at the founding – if you have no stake in our country, you have no vote. Like blazer Cubber said (paraphrased) “Show me a pay stub – you vote. No pay stub – no vote.”

Makes sense. One of the worst things ever imposed on our people by politicians was mandated payouts to the sloths and malingerers (as opposed to the disabled by age or sickness or injury or birth) at taxpayer expense. They added insult to injury by making it possible for those sloths and malingerers to vote themselves increases at taxpayer expense; then they piled on by promising the sloths and malingerers increases at our expense, In EXCHANGE FOR A VOTE!!!

Those politicians DO need to feel the wrath of the taxpayer! All of them – retired, voted out, and current politicians that practiced and foisted this krap on us.

  not just a pay stub, a tax return, if you don’t pay federal income tax, you dont get a say in how the federal goverment is run/spends those tax dollars
  because trust me, acorn, or whatever it is called now, would hire all these idjits for a day and give them a paycheck

  I’m in favor of it…..I’d even go back to landowners only……it’s just way out of hand that anyone can vote….illegals…..welfare…..dead…..i would gladly give up my right to vote just to have a just and fair system of voting……i’m also leary on the electoral college

  But if you have an X Box 360 and $20 for the eatery of their choice, I’m sure you’ll be welcome for a hot Friday night of feasting and fun the likes of which you have never known. My advice: Have them come to you; I don’t recommend entering their neighborhoods. That’s not meant as racist jab. Hell, I see plenty of white trash in my neck of the woods with the same mentality. Gettin’ rolled in the pursuit of love can’t be a good evening.
  Don’t bring ‘em to your home. They’ll know where you live and what else you own. And they may make note of doors and windows. Just saying…. In my line of work, I find most generational welfare recipients also have another close relationship with gubment… thru the penal system.
  You know, I think your best bet is to avoid any companion who is first and foremost married to the gubment. But, hey, I understand some folks wanna live dangerously.

We cannot go on with millions of people like this woman voting. When the country was first begun and 99% white, the only people who were allowed to vote were land owners or homeowner (obviously the home was on a patch of land). That was wise because the people with the most to lose had a right to say what was going to happen and how much they were going to be taxed. The other people could work and get their own land and then be a voter. What I am saying is that people now, who have absolutely no house, no land, and no job should not be allowed to vote. They will vote for the one who promises them the largest government check. No. They should not vote. They are like cattle. They are kept in pens (government housing) and used for voting. Land is harder to get nowadays. I say that now you can vote unless you have been on the dole for more than 2 years. There should also be a test..and easy test…but a test you must pass to vote.

Ohhh my. How did Americans become so foolish? Like a dog chasing a dried up bone, obama threw some people a phone. I have a business that I built myself, and don’t use a cell phone, but I guess I have bought them for others via government force.

I wish All Americans would realize that with a decient education, Citizen owned Capitalism, and the right to persue our own happiness as Individuals, we can all do much better than the poverty offered by the state.

  You know, this little snippet reveals much about how progressivism has, well, progressed. A century ago, you had the likes of George Bernard Shaw and Margaret Sanger lamenting the very existence of people of color and ‘social’ parasites. Now we have kinder, gentler progressives. “Throw ‘em a gadget and they’ll be happy to allow you to continue to stay in power and control every aspect of their existence.” Wow. That’s all it takes to buy your loyalty? A cell phone and the promise of similar low end ‘stuff’. Hooray.
  Well, I suppose this is the moral alternative to euthanasia and eugenics: Obedience thru cheap indulgences. Kinda makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
  It’s like the old Virginia Slims ad: “You’ve come a long way, baby.”
  Do you think if progressives push for free abortions for all and suicide booths, Shaw and Sanger might stop spinning in their graves? There is a dark laugh to be had here at the expense of progressivism.

Kind of makes what Newt said about the FOOD STAMP president hit home doesn’t it…..sadly enough…the inner cities are filled with people who think and act just like this person….give me free stuff…society owes it to me. These type of people are helping the Muslim Brotherhood take over AMERICA……..Let us stop this from happening…..VOTE in November

If, and I PRAY, Romney wins, these degenerate leeches will attack, hate, WORK to defeat him from day one. Be prepared. I agree very strongly that our voting laws should be modified to prevent people who absolutely contribute N O T H I N G from voting. It’s the only answer.

  This lady is a very good example of the results of our public education, coupled with outsorcing of opportunity for 3 decades (International redistribution). Eventually, the only thing left is dependency, and that leads to the same master minds who sabotoged us, deciding there are too many people on the planet.
  
  Nobody is born to crave dependency. The Individual is born craving achievment. Poor edcuation and redistributing opportunity are the forces that force dependency in the USA, because with a decinet education and a job, this lady would buy her own phone, and not steal from her neighbors.
