Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer Discusses Border Security on ‘Wilkow!’

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is appealing a ruling that prevents police from enforcing a section of the state’s controversial 2010 immigration law. AP reports that Gov. Brewer’s attorneys plan to ask the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse a lower-court’s Sept. 5 ruling that barred officers from enforcing a provision that made it illegal to harbor people suspected of being in the country illegally. Gov. Brewer argues Arizona law enforcement agencies should be able to continue to do their job to protect citizens with border security, an area where she says the federal government has failed.

On the other side to Gov. Brewer on this issue is her predecessor, now Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, who Gov. Brewer says understood these issues in Arizona but has changed since moving to Washington. Gov. Brewer swats down allegations that her policy has any connection to race.

“Those of us that have been born and raised in the southwest know what diversity is, we don’t even give it a second thought,” Gov. Brewer said Friday. “The bottom line–I’m not racist, Arizona is not racist, we are not bigots living in Arizona, but we do believe in the rule of law.”

This was the best program I have seen on this issue. I think the illegal population is the greatest danger to our country and no one talks about it.

Brewer made one mistake in her statement. Nappy knew what the problems the Illegal ALIENS (the correct term for foreign nationals who have entered the country in violation of the law) were causing in the state, she just did her best to help them make things worse at every turn. Nappy was pro illegal alien as Governor and has gotten even more so since going to DC. Thank GOD her intended replacement Attorney General Terry Goddard didn’t get the Governor’s office. Those two were HORRIBLY pro illegal alien. The AZ voters passed numerous referendums to eliminate welfare benefits to illegal aliens, and Nappy and Goddard twisted their interpretation of the law to the point that the only thing the illegals ended up not getting was taxpayer funded dental care and eyeglasses. Then Nappy put out the word to the welfare agencies to simply not ask for proof of citizenship to avoid actually enforcing the law. This is the woman who is in charge of Homeland Security. She’s never had a job where she paid taxes since she got out of college. No matter how much a government employee pays BACK in taxes, they still don’t increase tax revenues, hence government employees don’t pay taxes, they pay BACK someone else’s taxes. Think about it

States stepping in to handle areas where the feds failed opens up pretty much any area that the feds manage.

Go Gov Brewer! If our Current CIC had the Guts this lady does, Border Jumping would Stop…However If I were Gov. of AZ, I would have had MY National Guard and State Militia, on the Border Already!

God bless your Gov. Brewer. The president wouldn’t stand a chance in a one on one debate with her. She would mop the floor with him. There is one thing that this president can beat everyone at and that is NARCISSISM. He is not mentally capable of understanding any views except his own. This makes him sick, ( mentally ) and is a danger to all of America. Look at what he has destroyed in just four years. Look at the evil he has surrounded himself with. Non of them experts, all of them socialists.

in light of obamas crew doing whatever they want,stopping any form of prosecution to cover their rears,useing its under investigation to stall and cover-up misdeeds,brewer should use the same tactics??do whatever she wants to protect her state??
