Man Fires Plastic Gun at Czech President…While His Bodyguards Just Stand By

A man armed with a plastic gun attacked Czech President Vaclav Klaus on Friday, firing plastic pellets at him at close range while his bodyguards just stood by.

Klaus suffered only minor bruising from the incident, the BBC reported. He was in the northern town of Chrastava to open a new bridge.

A 26-year-old male was taken into police custody, but not before he told the media he was a communist sympathizer and did it “because the government is deaf and blind to the concerns of the Czech people.”

Video footage shows the attacker, dressed in camouflage, pushing his way through the crowd to get to Klaus, who recoiled slightly and looked surprised. With no reaction from the president’s security, the attacker retreated back into the crowd.

Klaus said the incident happened to quickly for him to be afraid, and reproached his bodyguards for failing to react to the situation, according to the BBC.

    Training is the key issue here. None of his so called security detail seems to have had any what so ever. These people need to go back to school because the next time it might be for real.

    Obviously, the good Czech President’s security detail graduated from the Hillbilly Hillary School of Diplomatic Protection.

    Hillary’s instruction methods are unconventional to say the least. I lifted this guideline directly from one of the instruction manuals: “We realize that there are members of the diplomatic corps who require security. It may be more cost effective to allow the assailants to empty their weapons at the security target, thus running out of bullets. As they run out of bullets, the assassins can be detained much more easily and with less danger to the security forces.”

    I wonder if she’ll send any more gay diplomats into Muslim posts? The MSM won’t discuss this aspect of the Benghazi fiasco.

    They won’t discuss that 156 miles from Benghazi is the Port City of Derna. A female correspondent on a telephone call with Megan Kelley of Fox News revealed that she knew that there were 300 Al Qaeda living in caves around Derna. The warriors were guarding the weapons stolen from Gadhafi’s armories. That would include shoulder-fired, anti-aircraft missiles, RPG’s heavy machine guns and other automatic weapons.

    Gee! I wonder how long it will be before those missiles make their way to the US?

    I know, Hillary and Napalitano will protect us! I feel so much better now.

      About a year ago, I decided that there was just no future in telling the truth straight-up. Nobody wants to hear it.

      So, I concoct fairy tales whenever it suits me, much like the left does as a matter of course. It’s my version of fighting lies with more lies. But, that’s where we are today. You found it perfectly plausible that Hillbilly Hillary would write something like that after hearing her lie like a rug for the Kenyan.

      Thanks for the reply. If I’d found it ‘perfectly plausible’ I’d have repeated it unverified, I was being polite rather than insinuate it was a fabrication or one of the many unsubstantiated “quotes” floating around here and elsewhere.

      My In Box is full of well meaning but totally ginned-up attacks on the Libs that serve no purpose other than to give the opposition ammunition against conservatives.

      You do no one a service by posting enticing but fantasy based material, there are enough damning facts about the Left that no one needs to make up new ones. Credibility is a commodity that once squandered is very difficult to regain.

    Never let a good crisis go to waste. A self avowed “Communist” declares his dissatisfaction at his government and it’s leader in an apparently nonviolent public display with a plastic gun. His “nonviolent” approach falsely portrays communists as moderates who would prefer dialogue over violence to bring light to the “repressiveness” of evil capitalism,” in all it’s forms. Laughable at best to those familiar with divisive behavior that communists have employed since the 1917 Soviet launch of Marxism and it’s long march to world domination.       Holy cow! Are these the same five security guards that were assigned to Ambassador Stevens? Speaking of which, have THEY been fired yet? The two Seals killed in the assault were NOT part of the Ambassadors security detail, but they came running trying to protect him and the fourth American was a non security computer/communications expert. I suppose they are union workers and cannot be fired. Perhaps they can be reassigned to President Obama’s security. Just a thought. But seriously, a guy dressed in camouflage, that close to their president, aims a gun at him and….nothing? Way to go, boys…………

    I would not feel safe with state controlled security!!! Ours are to busy with hookers (ladies of dubious origin, does anyone know what a swallow is? I ain’t talking about one for Slick Willies girlfriends), their security must have been looking elsewhere! If I was a world leader, I’d be nervous!!! No wonder the all seek gun control!!!

    This may be a practice run. Whatever, these ‘guards’ should be prosecuted for COWARDICE. Believe it or not, the job of a security guard is not looking around looking menacing. If you accept the job and money for protecting a man, you protect the man. Period.

    It looks as if the Czech President, Klaus needs a few good marines. These staff members should be fired ASAP, perhaps your entire security staff: Can any of them be trusted with your life? I don’t think so. They totally show a lack of interest in guarding you. They are too busy talking to the crowd They may be a great group to surround you if someone fires a gun from afar; however, they are so fat, they couldn’t run to capture anyone. LOL Imagine killing the President and stopping to be interviewed by the press??? This Communist has some real guts; you should hire him to in your security detail.
