Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan spoke with Fox News host Chris Wallace Sunday about foreign policy, and how his running mate Mitt Romney would tackle issues differently than President Obama has.
Responding to Wallace’s inquiry about whether he believes the administration has engaged in some sort of cover-up in Libya, Ryan maintained a diplomatic position while pointing out numerous inconsistencies in the White House’s message.
Ryan explained to Wallace (all subsequent emphasis added):
There are Republicans and Democrats in Congress calling for an investigation, as we need to have. Their response was slow; it was confused; it was inconsistent. They first said that it was a YouTube video and a spontaneous mob; we now know it was part of a terrorist attack.
If this was one tragic incident, that would be a tragedy in and of itself. The problem is, it’s part of a bigger picture of the fact that the Obama foreign policy is unraveling literally before our eyes on our TV screens.
And so what Mitt Romney’s going to do is lay out a very different vision for foreign policy, one that is a policy of American strength versus what I would…claim [is] one of weakness.
Ryan continued, pointing to various locations to back up his claim:
We’re seeing the ugly fruits of the Obama foreign policy unravel around the world on our TV screens.
Syria, you’ve got 20,000 dead people.
Iran is closer to a nuclear weapon.
The Middle East peace process is in shambles, and we have our flags being burned all around the world.
Russia is thwarting us at every stage in the process.
“This is a weak foreign policy with terrible results, which makes us less safe,” he concluded.

Romney definitely is NOT an ideal candidate and, yes, he’s NOT ultra-conservative, but he’s FAR preferable to Obama who’s off the charts in terms of liberal-progressive policies. If Romney/Ryan wins, then at least there’s SOME hope of at least slowing down the steady march to the left we’ve seen in the last 4 years.
What HAS to happen in order to turn things around is to not only elect Romney/Ryan, but also to retain control of the House and GET control of the Senate. Otherwise, it will be impossible to start to repair the damage of the last 4 years.
The WORST thing that could happen would be the re-election of Obama. The second worst thing that could happen would be to elect Romney/Ryan but NOt gain full control of both the House and Senate. If that happens, then the country will remain in political gridlock for another 4 years, and America will be doomed!

Paul would be an excellent choice and I think the American people would applaude the decision. Not to mention it would be in the best interest of the country. Romney, Ryan, and Paul could do some great things for our nation.
The only barrier to this would be pride. I would hope that men could humble themselves enough to put country first and just use each other’s talents to help the country. Pride is an interesting component to our society. The question is……Will humility and a willingness to restore the future and stability of our country override the pride and arrogance of any one individual or group?

Obama is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green jobs.
He leadeth me beside still factories.
He restoreth my job.
He leadeth me in the paths of progressivism for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Tea Partyers, I will fear no evil: for Obama art with me. His White House staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest my union contract in the presence of mine enemies: thou annointest my head with Obama-care; my food stamps runneth over.
Surely the IRS and surveillance drones will follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in HUD housing forever.

T’was the night before elections,
And all thru’ the town,
Tempers were flaring
Emotions ran up and down.
I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap,
Had shut off the TV,
tired of political crap.
When all of a sudden,
There arose such a noise,
I peered out my window,
Saw Obama and his boys
They had come for my wallet,
They wanted my pay
To hand out to others
Who had not worked a day!
He snatched up my money,
And quick as a wink,
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink.
He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart.
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!
‘On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, on Pelosi’
He screamed at the pairs!
They took off for his cause,
And as they flew out of sight,
I heard him laugh at a nation
Who wouldn’t stand up and fight!
So I leave you to think on this one final note…
IF YOU DON’T WANT SOCIALISM GET OUT AND VOTE !!!!

As long as he remains pretty and gives them stuff they are happy and vote for him. most don’t believe that Sharia Law will be coming to America, or that we will be loosing our basic freedom of speech, carrying guns, etc etc.

After Obama’s Apology Tour in ’08/’09 I SHOULD have bought stock in Vaseline. Seems like it has been needed in the past years. THAT IS Obama’s Foreign Policy.
Note-I do realize Romney hasn’t really “Brought the Message Home” so to speak. At this point? I don’t really care. If the GOP doesn’t win Nov. 6th??? they ought to pack their bags, pack their trunks and get the eff out of here! YOU gave us Mittens as a “choice”. As for me? If Obama is still President January 20th, 2013??? I’m going on Welfare. WHY should I work my azz off and my family do without when I could have FREE Obamaphone?!?

Sep. 30, 2012 at 8:29pmThanks for your post, I was actually thinking the same thing……..if we can’t get enough people to snap out of it. Whats the point in trying, I can just go on unemployment play the system, get my free phone, when my 99 weeks are up I’ll sprain an ankle and go on disability. Drop a few pups and get welfare. We could all milk that for at least 3 or 4 years……..to hell with the kids of the future, they’ll pick up the tab. By the way my dad is a baby boomer and I blame him and his gen for this problem, the greatest generation gave birth to the worst generation. We reap the rewards, my son already owes the government and he hasn’t worked a day in his life yet. WTF

Sep. 30, 2012 at 8:06pmHey Mr. Ryan, please don’t forget President Obama’s excellent achievements on the domestic economic front. Let me remind those with a short memory…..
1.) Unemployed Americans since President Obama took office……Up by almost half a million people
2.) Unemployment rate is up by 3.8% since President Obama took office
3.) Long term unemployment is up by 87% since Obama took office
4.) Middle class income is down by $3,960.00
5.) Gas prices up 107%
6.) Home values down by 11% since Obama took office
7.) Worker health insurance costs up 23% since Obama took office
8.) Sending your kids to college since Obama was inaugurated….up 25%
9.) Americans living in poverty increased by 6.4 million since Obama took office
10.) Food stamp recipients increased by 46% since President Obama took office
11.) Consumer price index (inflation) is up 9.1% since Obama took office
12.) Federal debt is up 51% since Obama took office

How could anyone NOT vote for President Obama. With these kinds of foreign and domestic policy accomplishments you would have to be crazy not to vote for him. The topping on the cake is his insistence on limiting 1st and 2nd Amendment rights. Man…what a guy.

ALINSKYITE LIE:
“allowed several white supremacist groups to financially prop up his party platform.”
ALINSKYITE LIE OBJECTIVE:
Ron Paul’s platform is Constitutional liberty, very inviting to all creeds, colors, religions, etc. Blacks have actually been a driving force in the Liberty Movement and Ron Paul’s campaign. Fake-conservative Alinskyites will throw the race card (as if that technique is relevant or effective anymore), to AVOID THE ORIGINAL STINGING COMMENT about THE SUBJECT: Unconstitutional nation-building and it’s INEVITABLE blowback.
ALINSKYITE SMEARING with a twist of PROJECTION:
“Gary Johnson is almost as radical as Paul”
ALINSKYITE SMEARING with a twist of PROJECTION OBJECTIVE:
Fake-conservatives can NEVER attack Ron Paul directly, so they will smear the people around him, or in this case OTHER CANDIDATES – then attempt to bridge those criticisms to Paul.
CONCLUSION:
A textbook example of how a fake-conservative Alinskyite REDIRECTS conversation AWAY FROM THE SUBJECT (as they know they will get slaughtered) and into baseless name-calling. The objective is to wrestle the conversation AS FAR FROM THE ISSUE (OBAMA, ROMNEY AND RYAN HAVING IDENTICAL BLOODY, BANKRUPTING, UNCONSTITUTIONAL, UNAMERICAN FOREIGN POLICY) as possible. Typically this is not effective, because “Paultards” are rather sophisticated and rarely “take the bait.”

more oil reserves under the ground than ALL other oil producing nations
COMBINED. Start developing it ALL.
There is no better way to destroy these people than to cut off their revenue

Often you repeat the same lies over and over, and regardless of how many times many people here correct them and give you locations to find the truth, as well you might want to do some research yourself. But, I really think that you just tell a lie to stir trouble then sit back to laugh at the responses. So, Reagan was solely responsible for what happened in Lebanon? Didn’t have anything to do with Congress making demands to keep weapons unloaded? The International Peace Keeping force to which this nation had a signed agreement didn’t cut and run after the bombing? Just really convenient for you to simply blame Reagan again, right?
As for the FBI in Libya, yeah, they are “in country.” Doing what? Tell us oh so might dumbass. Fill is in with your elite bank of knowledge, why don’t you. Hell, they can’t even get to Benghazi. It is too unsafe for them to even be allowed to go there. But, we do have Army and Navy special operators who are set up in teams to react to just such situations to provide security so the FBI teams can do their job. Guess who will not let them go? It ain’t the friggin Libyan government. The FBI team has been there so long, that do you remember that diary/journal of Chris Smith that CNN personnel found. They were dumbfounded that the FBI had not found it first, remember? They knew the FBI was there too. But not Bengha

And now we see that Obama’s encouragement of Muslims in the Middle East (including unauthorized military intervention) has led to much less stability in the region which produces a significant portion of the world’s oil.
Oh, yes. Obama is on the side of the average American who has to put gas in their car to drive to work (on the positive side, a low fewer people are driving to work under Obama).

Part of the reason that tax revenues are down and the deficit is so high is because the 1% are making less money (you heard about the recession, didn’t you?). So if we raise taxes on the 1%, they will have even less money, and be able to pay less taxes…so they will end up paying less than the 40% that they now pay.
