Hezbollah Threatens to Invade Israel’s Galilee, and Offers Interactive InfoGraphic on How it Plans to Do it

Hezbollah Again Threatens to Conquor Galilee, Northern Israel and Posts Infographic of Targets and How Theyll Invade

Hezbollah's new infographic shows how its forces plan to invade Israel's Galilee region

Call it bravado, wishful thinking, or truly based in reality, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah is again firing off a threat that the Lebanese-based terror group plans to one day invade northern Israel and successfully capture the Galilee.

In a new interactive infographic the group posted online called “Galilee, Where the Next Confrontation with the Enemy is!” the group states invading the Galilee is its goal should Israel attack Lebanon.

Hezbollah’s virtual tour includes the “most significant Palestinian cities” [which are in fact northern Israeli cities] – Haifa, Acre, Safed, Tiberias and Nazareth – while it surveys the Galilee’s geographical attributes, including “water riches,” “shrubs and forests” and “moderate weather.”

It also labels these sites as the “next war’s potential targets:” IDF outposts, the Haifa port and oil refinery, and tourist sites. The infographic’s coup de grace is its “glimpse into anticipated scenario for confrontation” which shows arrows pushing Hezbollah forces south, appropriately painting a swath of blood red over the entire territory of northern Israel.

In February 2011, Hezbollah chief Hasan Nasrallah made his first threats about invading the Galilee. Then he said:

I say to the mujahideen of the Islamic resistance: Be prepared for a day when war is forced upon Lebanon, and the commanders of the resistance may ask you to take over the Galilee. In other words — to liberate the Galilee.

Hezbollah Again Threatens to Conquor Galilee, Northern Israel and Posts Infographic of Targets and How Theyll InvadeRetired Israeli Brigadier General Shimon Shapira of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs published a study last week about Hezbollah’s increased threats to strike strategic targets in Israel which he believes are in response to the uptick in talk from Israel about attacking the nuclear facilities in Iran – Hezbollah’s main financial and spiritual backer. Shapira surveyed the recent militaristic chatter coming from Lebanon, including:

•    A threat that Hezbollah will respond to any Israeli attack on Iran stated on Sept. 8 by Gen. Yahya Rahim Safavi who is military adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

•    Gen. Hossein Salami, who is deputy commander of the Revolutionary Guard also said on Sept. 8 that if Iran is attacked by Israel, “we will take the war to the borders of the enemies.”

•    A report from Lebanese newspaper Al Joumhouria that the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Saeed Jalali, on an August visit to Lebanon gave the green light for Hizbullah to launch military strikes on Israel should the Jewish state hit Iran.

•    Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah saying in August: “The Israeli attack will give Iran an opportunity to destroy Israel as it has already dreamed of doing for thirty-two years,” adding that “our missiles are prepared and aimed…we will not wait for anyone’s approval.”

Shapira writes:

Hizbullah is a central component of Iran’s deterrent and offensive strategy toward Israel and is considered Iran’s first line of defense in the spatial dimension of its conflict with Israel. Senior Iranian spokesmen say so publicly, and Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah backs them up.

Shapira explains that Hezbollah held its largest military exercise ever this past August [emphasis added]:

It lasted three days and over ten thousand fighters took part, including “special forces,” as well as new recruits aged 16-20 who did not take part in the 2006 war with Israel. Defensive deployments were practiced together with an offensive deployment that simulated the conquest of parts of the Upper Galilee. According to Al Joumhouria, which reported in the past on a similar exercise by Hizbullah, Nasrallah oversaw part of the drill alongside Iranian officers from the Revolutionary Guard. It also was reported that Hizbullah had begun preparing residents of southern Lebanon for the possibility of war, including the clearing-out of shelters in the villages of Maroun al-Ras and Aita al-Shaab, and the town of Bint Jbeil.

It is widely known that Iran provides military support to Hezbollah, including training, funding and the transfer of missiles and other weaponry. Shapira writes about how vast this assistance is:

[Iranian] Revolutionary Guardsmen are stationed at Hizbullah training bases and are involved in ongoing military activities. Various Iranian agents and emissaries, who not infrequently compete among themselves, are also active in Lebanon. Some are from Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and Ministry of Education, some are there in the framework of economic assistance, and some have been dispatched by the Iranian Intelligence Ministry to gather information and prepare infrastructures for terror in the Middle East, Europe, and South America.

Shapira provides translation from an interview Hezbollah chief Nasrallah gave on Sept. 4 in which he threatened to make Israelis’ lives “hell:”

The Israelis are always planning to destroy the missile launchers in the first attack. I advise them not to gamble on the first strike because even if a small number of missiles survive the attack, we will be able to turn the Israelis’ lives into hell. Our targets are not only military; we will react with the same force to any Israeli attack. If Israel talks about destroying Lebanon, I say to them that we will destroy everything in the Zionist entity.

Nasrallah made the invade-Galilee threat for the first time in February 2011, at which time Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded by saying that “no one should doubt Israel’s strength or its ability to defend itself.” He also offered a dig at Nasrallah who spends most of his time in hiding, fearing Israeli-backed assassins as have struck down past Hezbollah leaders. Netanyahu then said, “Whoever hides in a bunker should stay in the bunker.”

Israeli analyst Shapira believes that as the talk of a possible preemptive strike on Iranian nuclear facilities grows, so too do the threats from Iran and Hezbollah.

Why would anyone – even a terrorist group – broadcast invasion plans? Makes absolutely no sense. Then again, what makes sense in the world anymore? Do they think Israel won’t be ready? Or is this just a diversion from the real invasion plan? In any event, I believe Israel will be ready for anything because God’s on their side.

This kind of bravado and saber-rattling is typical of these third-world wannabe dictators who have nothing more then rhetoric to blather about. This kind of talk may sell well inside the borders of their dessert homeland and to the ignorant masses, but the capabilities that these mouthpieces have to backup their tough talk are simply not there. Israel never was a pushover where military superiority is concerned, but their finesse in covert ops, the kind of actions that topple governments, is second to none. You can’t bet these guys out even when the odds against them are ten to one. Remember the ’67 war… where they kicked the arab world a new rear-end… and the eight-day war… and the six-day war. The islamists are no match for these guys!

I have bad news for Hezbollah: They are first on the list of targets at the beginning of the War Campaign against Iran. Israel knows where their missiles and rockets are hidden and which schools and mosques in which they are hiding behind children and women. This time around Israel will not be as concerned about collateral damage. The focus will be on annihilating them; wiping them out.

No, he is Obamanation. Your 11th horn dude is none other than the Obamanation that makes desolate. His soul is about as demonic as one can get and still be called human. We are now about to enter year number 5 of the “Tribulation”. You missed out on the Rapture that will likely never occur. Not all Christians believe that the Rapture had to occur anyway. I guess with year 5 on the way, he will be re-elected.

All that is happening in the Middle East is for the Anti-Christ to be introduced and gain notoriety in the world as “the peacemaker”. Glenn started this days show citing a pastor friend’s statement that, “We don’t know God’s will.” But we do! Ask yourselves why would God the Father not want to warn what is coming? Look to the Pentateuch and the Prophets written of therein. He ALWAYS announced what is coming and asked His children to repent and return to Him. He is doing it again, please pray for discernment before you read this and listen for the time is short.

Come on… At what point do we finally start taking people with murderous intentions at their word? Do we have to wait until Israel is invaded and its civilians are being massacred to say, “Well, I guess they were serious this time…”?

The only reason people here in the U.S. don’t care more about this is because we’re being insulated from terror… we don’t see it, our media doesn’t report it, our TV shows and movies excuse and justify it, politicians appease them and misdirect the public about them, our educational institutions pardon and pander to them, and our children are taught that terrorists are victims and that they must try to understand them…

As a people we have no concept of what it means to actually be threatened with destruction because we haven’t been for almost 3 generations… My biggest fear is that we’ll be unprepared to deal with terror when it finally rears its ugly head again in America.

Hezbollah is a giant pain in the ass. I don’t deny that, but you fools are ready for our boys to die if Israel starts something it shouldn’t. If Israel starts something, they can deal with it. If they’re attacked, I’m all for lending a hand. But all non-bias reports I’ve seen suggest Israel is the aggressor here. The fact is Israel has no right to tell Iran what they can or can’t do with regards to proliferation considering they’re a nuclear power that has yet to sign the Non Nuclear Proliferation Treaty. Can you tell me where they’ve been granted the authority to dictate what a sovereign Iran does? I don’t want anyone over there to die for some BS war. It’s unnecessary. If it weren’t for our money and our intervention, things would be a little different. We should have known enough to mind our business and help Israel, when Anwar Sadat was assassinated. But instead, we’ve been the largest source of welfare for the “palestinian” population; we’ve pushed Israel into surrendering land in exchange for peace, and what have we done?

Since 1981, all we’ve done is endangered our friend Israel and demand it cede land to enemies we feed, armed and emboldened. Terrorist attacks increased exponentially since 1981; we ignored them; allowed them to establish themselves in Lebanon; and so they came HERE in ’93. After the ’93 attack, we treated our prisoners as common criminals, so they hit us again to show us they REALLY meant business – 2001.

What have we done since 2001? We went to war, only to cede our position of strength to domestic enemies in Congress and the media, topping it off with the election of a marxist in 2008. Since 2008, we’ve replaced quasi-friends with ENEMIES in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Libya and soon, Syria.

From now on, we WON’T be able to mind our own business; he!!, our enemies have a solid foothold in Dearborn, MI…

Justangry — to understand the Mideast conflict, you need to do two things. First understand the Bible’s view of history and family dynamics. Next, you must step away fm the Enlightenment and all things Western, allowing yourself to be filled with and act upon negative emotions.

Ishmael was removed fm the family of Abraham. In that day, it was a presumed death sentence since you were a non-entity w/o a family. Abraham asks God for the life of his son, and God tells him that Ishmael will survive, become 12 tribes of warriors whose actions are unbounded by convention (“wild ass of a man”).

Ishmael has had it in for his younger brother Isaac since then. Ishmael wanted the inheritance of Abraham that God had promised, yet he was turned away in favor of the younger son whose mother was Abraham’s wife. Ishmael’s mother was a concubine, even though he was “adopted” by Sarah when he was placed on her lap at birth.

So Ishmael has to live by his own wits and sword, all the while living w/a massive inferiority complex.

Everyone knows that nobody fights like family. And this family feud is why the Mideast will not know God’s peace until the Lord Returns in glory to set all things right.

I’m an agnostic. So let me ask… If the Bible was truly the word, written by God himself, why don’t people interpret it’s meaning the same way? Second, if you do believe the Bible can you, as a human, tell me how we’re to know which Jews to stand with? (Re: Rev. 2.9) Also, how does Israel’s threat to preemptively nuke Iran not conflict with “Thou shall not murder”, “Forgive our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us”, “Love thy enemy”, “turn the other cheek” the golden rule and the “Just War Theory of Christianity?

I can’t come up with a good answer to those questions, so I’ll stick to what I’ve seen over there. That being that war is evil. Especially when done preemptively.

      JUSTANGRY…

The Bible is the inspired word of God. That means He used humans to convey His revelation of Himself. This form of communication doesn’t impede nor influence freewill, which means that there is some interpretation of the Prophet’s reception of that word when putting it down in written form. As far as human understanding/interpretation of the Word of God, much if not all of the disagreements revolve around pride.
To answer your second question. They won’t Nuke anyone. They prefer surgical strikes, because the less bloodshed the less outrage and less of an evil. Next they will have “proof” of any wrong doing, of which is mounting. The first part of your second question is a valid point. Preemptive strikes in of themselves can be in violation of the 1st Commandment. But if there is proof that the intent of an aggressor is lethal, and to wait for the act of that aggression is complete annihilation, then the proper response is to preempt the attack in order to defend oneself. Next, you are sighting Christian commandments and sentiments in your second question (“Forgive our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us”, “Love thy enemy”, “turn the other cheek”, “Just War Theory”) which Israel wouldn’t even consider.
Finally, you are correct that War is evil, but that doesn’t mean that you cannot defend yourself if it is called for.

There are people here suggesting that Israel can do no wrong as if they’re leadership are not individuals tempted by evil. How are we, with our human limitations, to know the difference? TV? I was raised Christian. Much of the stuff I still hold dear came from Jesus’ teachings. I don’t necessarily believe he was the son of God, but… I’ve actually kind of written the old Testament off as complete garbage myself. Seems to be a bunch of fairy tales with a element of historical fact sprinkled in. Regardless, we simple humans just don’t know what’s going on and we’re talking about pretty big stakes. Some Christians believe a lot of things that are untrue. Take the Westboro Baptist church as an extreme example. Uniformity by itself does not make something true or untrue. The imperfect filter of the human intellect (due to original sin) cannot impart the words of God perfectly when He speaks to us. In fact, He even speaks (throughout the Bible and to post Biblical visionaries/prophets) of preferring those who are of “low” stature in society, for that shows all the more that the words truly come from Him.

I would challenge that Julian Assange’s motives are 100% pure, and that some of the info “leaked” as propaganda to undermine governmental authority within and out of its populace. I don’t know how anti-Jihadist Arab speaking people can “mistranslate” all of the radical speeches given by mullahs, Imams and “National leaders” such as Ahmadinejad in speaking about annihilating Israel. I would like to know what the proper translation to all of Ahmadinejad speeches are. Perhaps you could link the credible source of the proper translation again please. Oh, and he has used such inflammatory language prior, so I don’t know why you are limiting it to within a year.

True on all counts. However, when a person espouses certain ideas more than a few times and are recorded, archived and verified each and every time, it hardly merits the label of “propaganda”, and their intentions are blatantly made obvious. This criteria has been met on his and every radical Imam and Mullah’s position on Israel around the world.

I’m glad you still do. The point I’m making is that these sentiments are not Jewish but distinctly Christian, and as such won’t enter the Israeli thought process in dealing with their enemies because it’s not part of their theology. This doesn’t present a “HUGE conflict of interest”. It does present a point for diplomatic negotiations on how to handle the situation, that is, if the POTUS is willing to back them, which should be evident by his treatment of Bebe that he isn’t.

He is saying that they will be tried and purified through the testing, and encouraging them to hold out to the end to prove their worthiness of Him. As far as the Anti-Christ and those who will follow him, they will be of all faiths and creeds. No one will be without temptation to follow him and it will only be through fasting, prayer for discernment and a penitent heart that anyone will be able to recognize him as the Beast. Please be aware that Jesus came once in the flesh. Anyone who comes in the flesh now and says they are Him is a liar. His second coming will be in Spirit.

“This was actually my second question, and probably the one that drives me nuts about unconditional support for a nation state rather treating people as individuals. There are people here suggesting that Israel can do no wrong as if they’re leadership are not individuals tempted by evil. How are we, with our human limitations, to know the difference? TV?”

Most of the people here understand that, as Israel is concerned, to discount the Covenant (c.f. Genesis 12:1-3) which is everlasting, for God cannot go against His oath, those who bless the descendants of Abraham will be blessed by God. Those that curse will be curse. That you “don’t necessarily believe [Jesus is] the [S]on of God” and that you, “actually kind of written the old Testament off as complete garbage….” would be the crux of the problem. How can one accept the Covenant God made to Abraham and his descendants, and the promise to send the Messiah with that position?

“Regardless, we simple humans just don‘t know what’s going on and we’re talking about pretty big stakes. The bottom line is, for me, don’t go starting wars. I say the same thing to our evil leaders.”

As Agnostics are unsure that God gets involved with human affairs, it would be a very uneasy feeling to view what is going on in the world which involves “pretty big stakes”. If you have seen my postings in the past, I’ve on more than a few occasions linked a website which I encourage (if you are open) you to read. There are some messages addressed to Atheists and Agnostics which you can read. It is my hope that you will at least be open enough to do so.

    notice the ‘solidarity’ fist?
Glenn nailed it back in 2010 when he said the leftists, the unions, and the radical elements of islam would work together.

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in Heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this…….In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,…..Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stop saying: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come….The twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worshop him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Its all smoke and mirrors, they are bluffing to give iran time to finish the nukes, then they will start the fight. Bomb the iranians nuke facilities now and they will go back into the shadows once that ace in the hole has been eliminated. Its how bullies fight, all bark no bite.

Exactly. There’s no excuse for the people in the MidEast to be impoverished. Their governments, who hate us, take all of the aid we send and all of the oil profits we send with our money(needlessly) and they’d rather have their youth join a terror group instead of starting a business or farm. They live to destroy. And live to envy us and hate us eternally. They’d rather waste money on nuclear weapons and bully the only well structured, successful, civilized, capitalist people in the MidEast. Israel should be the model for success in that part of the world. Every country in the MidEast should have a decent standard of living and thank us for it and learn from Israel’s success. Instead, they prefer to hate, starve, have nothing, envy, and fight to fly the crescent moon over our WH.

Israel MUST attack Iran if they do not stop and reverse course on constructing their nuclear weapons – Israel will have no choice. If attacked by Lebanese, Israel must also expect an attack from Egypt (and Syria, if Assad falls).

Out come the tactical nukes. Hell, I would! Considering the fact that I also must not expect help from Gaybama, self-preservation of my nation and people would be paramount.

I can paraphrase what he will likely say:. “It is all the Jews’ fault for not all dying under Hitler, even though they created Hitler and the Nazi Party. Why all the world’s problems would be solved if all the Jews would just stop being Jewish. All the Arabs and Persians would love us and be modern peace loving fuzzy bunnies if there weren’t any Jews around, and especially if there were no Jews in the Middle East. “
