Jon Stewart Ridicules Obama Admin’s Uncoordinated Response to Libya Attack: ‘You Guys Talk to Each Other?’
Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart ridiculed the Obama administration’s handling of the September 11th attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya Monday, offering a step-by-step overview of what various government mouthpieces have said at different times over the past few weeks.
“Transparency, openness, clear lines of communication– they’re not just phrases you vaguely hear your wife saying while you’re trying to watch the Giants game,” Stewart began.Β “They’re also important hallmarks of a successful administration, and they’re the subject of tonight’s installment of our new series, ‘You Guys Ever Talk to Each Other…?’”
Stewart began with Carney’s September 14th assertion that the government is still gathering all the facts, and would therefore not comment on whether U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in a terrorist attack.
He noted, however, that the administration did not hesitate to establish a narrative based on what he referred to as their “hunch” that an anti-Islam YouTube video was responsible.
“That thing’s like [the movie] The Ring,” Stewart lamented sarcastically.Β “Three days after you watch it, embassies just burst into flames!”
Unfortunately, he noted, roughly a week later the director of the National Counterterrorism Center told Congress the attack was the work of terrorists.Β Jay Carney soon reversed course a well, saying it was “self-evident” that “what happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack,” despite denying that very claim a week before.
“Oh-ho!Β How bad does it suck to be the White House press secretary?” Stewart asked rhetorically.
Then, just three hours later, Stewart added, President Obama started once again blaming the YouTube video.
“So, you guys talk to each other, or…?” Stewart asked.
After watching another clip of Obama saying they are still establishing what transpired, Stewart wondered how many possibilities there could be.Β Was it Libyan St. Patrick’s Day?Β A quinceaΓ±era that got out of hand?
Playing a few more contradictory clips, Stewart concluded: “Two things, apparently, have become clear.Β The attack on our embassy was planned and coordinated.Β The response to it– eh, not so much.”

Sonia Sotomayo and Elena Kagan are illegal as Obama is and was to appoint them. They are Persona non grata, as Sortoro/Obama is come November 6, 2012!

Posted on October 2, 2012 at 7:29pmJohn until we know all the facts on our embassy attacks, it is best to stick to the Obama talking points – this week the talking point is about Romney while he was in College. cut a Gay Guy, with AIDS, hair.
John, it’s too late, Obama will be an ex-president in a few Months and you and all the Late Night Obama Lap Dogs have passed up on some of the best Comedic Material ever delivered by any President in History. John you missed it and look at the audience you now have because of it.
Keep posting Blaze because I will never tune to the Liberal News Channels for 1 sec – I have Cable and Cable reports 15 sec of viewing as 15 minute ratings and I refuse to put Adverting dollars in the Liberal News pockets.

We have a government running out of control and it’s these idiots who even though they are laughing while being robbed blind, will once again vote for this pathetic individual. It is these people walking around us that scare me more than barry himself. GOD help us…

Posted on October 2, 2012 at 7:03pmObozo is not stupid. Everything he does is for a reason. We just don’t know the reason yet, except, what ever it is, is not in America’s best interest. See 2016, the movie and his decisions will make more sense. I suspect the ambassador was killed because he knew too much about our assistance to Libya, including Stinger missiles given to rebel groups without vetting them for terrorist members. Notice that there hasn’t been anything said about that issue.

Posted on October 2, 2012 at 5:28pmOn May 1st and 2nd, 2010, Nashville TN experienced the worst flooding “in 1,000 years.” Obama, to my knowledge, never uttered a word about the enormous damage. TN voted for McCain-Palin in 2008 so disasters in Tennessee are apparently God’s way of punishing the state for voting the wrong party in presidential elections. Obama is so completely out of touch with reality it is scary. The United States of America has had NO PRESIDENT IN OFFICE FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS.

Posted on October 2, 2012 at 4:56pmMr. Stewart, you know we have the smartest President in the world and in our history. He went to Ivy League schools. Trouble is most of the other folks in his administration simply cannot keep up with his brains and therefore the messages gets lost in translation – from the Indonesian/Kenyan/Hawaiian/Chicago dialect to the DC lingo. That is why the good folks should pay heed to the George Will piece and take heart and be kind and re-elect the first black president simply to give his underlings more time to catch up. Today, the failed domestic policy with its 44 months of 8%+ unemployment and the failed foreign policy (Embassy staff dead) should not matter.

Posted on October 2, 2012 at 5:18pmSmartest? The others can’t keep up? What you have, friend, is a lazy man who doesn’t even hide it hence his “lead from behind” philosophy which is position of a coward who by not making any decisions waits until others do before claiming victory or when things go south blame others for (his)their failure. Those are NOT traits of a leader at all but rather the character of a coward, a lazy man. Leaders are called leaders because they make the tough decisions first then give the proper guidance. They do not sit on the golf course sucking their thumb hoping all goes well…
