Obama Scrubs Controversial ‘Vote Like Your Lady Parts Depend On It’ E-Card From Site

An e-card many found offensive on Barack Obama’s official tumblr blog page has been removed just hours after it was first discovered and went viral in the conservative blogosphere.

The e-card featured a picture of a woman dressed like a flapper reaching out with the words “Vote like your lady parts depend on it.” However, after the image was linked on the Drudge Report, it can no longer be found.

The Weekly Standard has a screen shot of the original:

But now an attempt to access the site reveals a broken link (but with the same url):

The Twitchy team captured some of the outrage:

If Republicans want to win back the votes of women they should probably start supporting policies that benefit them. Advocating for legislation that ensures equal pay for women that have the same education, experience, and positions as men and advocating for access for preventative health (such as breast, ovarian, and cervical cancer screenings) would be a start.

@ Pontius… You march in lockstep with the media… constantly dwelling on the female gender gap with Romney and totally ignoring the male gender gap with ObaMao. I suppose you, like the media, believe if you ignore it, it doesn’t exist. The reason for said gap, BTW, is because women generally depend on emotions when making a decision and men generally depend on logic.

      Cossette,

What is the male gender gap you’re referring to exactly? Women with equal education, experience, and career positions as men are paid less – this is not debatable. I am legitimately curious to hear about the gender inequality and disparities that men experience – I really don’t know what you could possibly be referring to. As far as women making decisions with “emotions” and men making decisions with “logic”, that’s a pretty absurd stereotypical teenage boy viewpoint that most women would find offensive as well as inaccurate – it’s the type of language that the Republican party needs to avoid if they want to win back the vote of women.

@Pontius Did you know that Obozo has 237 administration staffers that now make over $100k per year. One of those people that makes over $100K’s job is to take care of Barrack Obozo’s dog. Did you know that the women in the Obozo administration make on average 25% less than similar women make. Did you know that many women in the Obozo administration have resigned because the felt like pieces of meat. The war on Women is Obozo’s war…. Your Media Matters talking points are false fatter and in fact complete untruth. Sorry you are so mis/ dis/ and ill informed.

For those numbers to be relevant they have to compare the same job, the same education, and the same experience – those working for Obama do not have all these same titles etc. You can’t just take the average salary of all the men that work for Obama and the average salary of all the women that work for Obama and cite disparities in salary – it doesn’t work that way. But when you look at the national statistics a women with the same education, experience, and position as a man is paid less in almost every single profession – this again is not debatable. The Obama administration ( as much as I hate them) support legislating equal pay for men and women, the Romney administration does not. Would you like to throw access to preventative health care and the right to abortion into the equation as well? Do we need to discuss Planned Parenthood (who is absurdly labeled as an abortion factory by the misinformed right) and how the Romney administration wants to defund it? It isn’t a liberal media bias conspiracy – down the line Romney and republicans do not support policies with women’s best interests – this is the majority of women won’t be voting for them. If they want that to change they need to change their tune.

@Ponyius…. If you are not aware of the meaning of the phrase “gender gap” when used in a political context, I suggest you google it and educate yourself.. As far as your interpretation referencing the male vs. female decision making process, if you READ my opinion, I did not make a blanket statement, hence it was not stereotypical. Furthermore, by virtue of my username alone my gender should be obvious. Hint…. It isn’t male.

      Cossette,

If you give me something a little more specific to look into I will – like I said, I have no idea what you’re referring to as far as gender disparities for men so I woulnd’t know where to start looking. As far as your previous comment. If you weren’t making a stereotypical blanket statement then how in your first comment does the characteristic that women make decisions based on “emotion” affect the aggregate of the gender gap so much? Do you see how what you said and what you are claiming now are inconsistent? You said that the gender gap regarding salary for women was caused by women, in general, making decisions based on emotion (while men decide based on logic), yet claimed later than you weren’t making a sweeping statement? Regardless, even if that statement were accurate it wouldn’t make sense.

Bravo for all your thoughtful comments. I think the slogan is great. During the birth control coverage debate the Republican chair would only allow men to testify, including celibate men. The GOP couldn’t understand why this was not a political winner with women. It’s how Ms. Fluke became famous.
Thanks the GOP and their platform, their lady parts do depend on it, and I imagine most will vote that way. Can’t say I blame them.

      ——
OK, etc. genius, let’s start by asking, “Why not”? Why is Obum hiring significantly more highly-qualified men than highly-qualified women? That sounds to me like classic gender discrimination in the workplace:

“A 2009 analysis of White House salary data did find that while women outnumbered men in the lowest salary brackets, there were only 58 women in the 142 highest senior staff positions at the Obama White House.”
      http://swampland.time.com/2011/09/21/the-white-house-boys-club-president-obama-has-a-woman-problem/

Show me one woman, besides sister Jarrett, who is close to Barack. Give me one *white* woman – since he is black – who advises the man. Don’t even think Hillary, his overworked maid. She runs all his errands, takes all his 3am calls, fills in for him when he skips town, and the only reason he made her Sec of State instead of VP was that he wanted Hillary & mate out of sight. You can’t just take the average salary of all the men that work for Obama and the average salary of all the women that work for Obama and cite disparities in salary…
      ——
Except that is exactly what Barack does when he claims that “women are paid 77 cents on the dollar for doing the same work as men.” It’s pure demagoguery. That figure is based on the generalized “female-to-male earnings ratio of full-time, year-round workers 15yo+.” The simple truth is that much of the overall disparity exists because women tend to choose lower-paying fields. Consequently, their median earnings are going to be lower than men’s. There are additional factors: men generally work more hours than women under a “full-time” schedule; men don’t leave the workforce to raise children, ETC.

      => “…But The Obama administration ( as much as I hate them)…”

      Oh, yeah?

      —–
=> “…down the line Romney and republicans do not support policies with women’s best interests…”
      —–
I have yet to see a totalitarian regime in world history that empowered women. Barack runs his boys club like a typical commie. He also aids and abets savages who celebrate their rise to power by raping our women. That’s because he’s Muslim-light — and you are a pansy pirate.

Pirate, there’s no such thing as a “right” to an abortion. That was an intentional constitutional fabrication of the judiciary to enact a law which otherwise never would’ve been enacted by any legislators or citizens. I say this as a woman: no such law exists which would or should permit the killing of a child by that child’s parent(s), or by medical staff hired by that child’s parent(s). Denying the legitimacy of such a practice is not an “anti-woman” position, as some have suggested, but “pro-human rights”.

How about we have polices that support everyone? Why focus on one group?

Why would we need legislation that ensures equal pay for women? That’s the businesses job and should already be doing that. Everyone (including women) should get paid by how well they do. If a business doesn’t pay fairly then I would not work there and not give them any of my money. Who doesn’t have access for preventative health?

This is no joke. Sharia Law is already being selectively applied in America. Many Islamists already practice polygamy secretly. Initially, female genital mutilation will be performed on their daughters and granddaughters.

That is why if you are a woman, you need to take this seriously. Please, please do not participate in cultural jihad. One of the goals of cultural jihad is to marry our women so they can infiltrate our society. They are already doing this. Those thousands of MEN Hussein is importing to America will marry non-Muslim women. Their children will be de facto Muslim. Just like Barack Hussein. America will be Islamized in a couple of decades, maybe less.

Parents, you need to educate your girls as to the gravity of the problem we are facing. Ask God for wisdom, because pretty soon saying anything against Islam will be considered a hate crime, so we need to know how to speak to our kids.

      @SIMPLETRUTHS
Many Mormon’s already practice polygamy secretly – some openly. There, fixed that for you.
      ——
Was that a jab at Romney? He’s been married to one woman for over forty years, lol.

Here’s the simple truth: people who call themselves Mormons and practice polygamy are as fake as Catholics who say they are devout believers but support abortion, or evangelicals who say Jesus was not born of a virgin. Anyone who goes against his/her church’s doctrine is a fake, period.

That is not the case with Islam. The Islamic creed is inherently polygamous. Polygamy is sanctioned in the Muslim world. The only reason Muslims do not practice it openly in Western countries is because the law of the land forbids it.

Was that too hard to grasp?

There is something that is rarely discussed in conservative circles. Obama gained incredible momentum because he cheated in the Iowa caucuses, and in every other caucus after that:

Hilliary Clinton was far ahead in every poll. But the night of the caucus, there were reports statewide of boisterous groups who came rolling in around six thirty; then descended upon the caucus locations – waving signs wildly, shouting down Hillary supporters, badgering people into corners, and even bullying people in wheel chairs…hanging around the parking lots and entrances, thoroughly discouraging ANY pro-Clinton voters from entering…Next day in the Des Moines Register…”OBAMA WINS BIG UPSET IN PRIMARY”. Sure he won, courtesy of all the hundreds of bused-in Illinois ACORN “volunteers”. It was voter fraud on steroids.

But even worse, the actual details of the thuggery were not brought to light in many of the local papers or TV stations around Iowa. And certainly no national media outlet dared to pick up the story.

Eventually, the Clinton campaign became befuddled. They were getting creamed in EVERY primary state that held a caucus-style election; yet they were winning in the states using traditional balloting.

I firmly believe Hillary would have won if the Dem primaries had been fair.

Heck no! I’m conservative to my very core. Hillary is a radical, but I believe Bill would have reined her in. My point is, the Commie will cheat his way into the Oval Office again. IMO, only God can stop him.

I just hope Christians aren’t praying fuzzy prayers. Those don’t get past the ceiling. This is a fight for the soul of our country, and we need to be bold.

What??? what are you talking about, I don’t see anything. Are you sure you seen something? Why are you racist, you are just trying to be a racist, and what do you have against lady parts? Are you a mysoginist? Why must you hate so much. Look at what Romney supports, racist, mysoginist, lady parts hating phobicophobes. And Ryan throws old people over cliffs and hates midgets.

Remember, if you want to bring America together, get free stuff, and not be a racist, Vote Obama/Biden 2012, otherwise, we know who you are, we know where you live, and we know how you vote.

Why, oh, why would you put something like that on your re-election web site?

If it were a Republican or conservative, you would never hear the end of it from the MSM.

Since it is Obama, you will hear nothing more about it.

The media is saying nothing about this, or is it?
If Romney had this kind of campaign ad heaven would been falling all over earth, and liberals would’ve ripped their clothes, crying out loud for the conservatives’ “war on women”.
