‘Real News’ War Room: How Can Romney Beat the Loser Narrative?
Mitt Romney and his campaign have had a black cloud overhead of late with erratic showings in recent polling, and frequently having to defend themselves against a growing media narrative that they are in a deep hole or have already lost this election. While many polls still have Romney within the margin of error against the president, how can the Republican challanger keep the negative press around him from turning into a self-fulfilling prophecy ?
Watch the ‘Real News’ panel in a clip below make their arguments for the best case that the Romney folks could make to change the perception of this campaign:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on October 3, 2012 at 11:40amsimple by having real elections, maybe instead of machines count paper. maybe ID stuff as well. Maybe have knowledge tests to ban stupid voters from voting. but that wouldn’t help either of the two would it? Romney and the campaign have done all they needed to lose and there is nothing they can do now but watch the baggage crush them into pancakes.

Posted on October 3, 2012 at 2:26amAbout the polls: the often repeated thought that poll numbers are low for Romney is likely calculated not only to demoralize those who can be persuaded to stay home from voting, but to enrage and agitate mobs when he defies the made up numbers and wins. This preemptively supports the idea that the election was rigged especially if the win is solid. It’s another dirty trick, thinking ahead.

Posted on October 3, 2012 at 1:17amWe Conservatives and Republicans have grown jaded and cynical. We are craving approval from the MSM that only 8 percent of us trust. Why? Are we nuts?
We are petrified that Mitt is the second coming of Bob Dole, or John McCain. He isn’t. Listening to Mitt’s book “No Apologies” is like listening to Reagan’s radio commentaries in the 1970′s. You may not agree with all of his positions, but you know they come from principal, and sound reasoning, and you will agree with a whole lot more of them than you disagree with, unless you are a progressive.
What did Mitt do for a living for 30 years. He project managed like the Apprentice, He also resurrected failing businesses like Gordon Ramsay, John Taffer, and Robert Irvine among others do on television. The key to a successful turnaround is waiting for the correct timing to introduce the radical changes in thought and procedures that will make the business successful.
Too soon, and the owner shuts down and will not accept the restructuring. Too late, and it will do no good, because the business is already lost. With early voting starting today, the Overton Window is now open. Those who vote in the next two weeks are either completely set on their choices, or terminally ill, but the rest are persuadeable.
Finally, the media still believes that Reagan was a dufus, and he took full advantage of being underestimated to run rings around them. Let’s see if Mitt can pull off a similar head fake.

And the gas prices “fact has to to stop. Gas prices have not reached the highs of the summer of 2008 under Obama. Should have, could have but never did. Cupp and gb use that one all the time and it is cringeworthy.

Posted on October 2, 2012 at 11:04pmSimple really – don’t buy into the state controlled media narrative…..Readn overcame the media because he didn’t let himself be limited by their meme, Newt was effective because he overwhelmed the media narrative,
No real world people actually believe the state controlled media…
Try this little experiment – the next time you are waiting in line or in a group of strangers, make some little comment about taxes, inflation, foreign policy, corruption, see waht the response is – O is losing and hwe is losing big

How would sleeping through school make him a loser? Wouldn’t that mean that he slept through the brainwashing that you neocons claim happens in public schools? I for one can’t take people who cry on a pre-recorded show seriously.

I NEVER take anyone seriously – who stand in front of a blackboard.
Why IS that?
So according to Verce – no matter what is being taught – he isn’t taking it seriously – so he is admitting he is an uneducat-able moron
And somehow you read something totally unrelated (as in content and quality of the education) into the thread – thus proving you are an un-educatable moron also

Refusing to see the value of a pathetic imitation of a lecture by a self-described rodeo clown crybaby does not make me an “un-educatable moron”. Beleiving that underwear somehow protects you from evil is what would make one a moron.

I NEVER take anyone seriously – who stand in front of a blackboard.
Why IS that?
So perhaps if I type slower – Verce made no qualifications as to “a lecture by a self-described rodeo clown crybaby” or “Beleiving that underwear somehow protects you from evil ”
Verce said ANYONE who stands before a blackboard (and while technically schools now use dry erase white boards the concept is the same) therefore – since ANYONE (teachers are included in the anyone umbrella) who stands before a blackboard (or white board) is not to be taken seriously, verce is, by his own admssion, an uneducateable moron. And since I have had to try to explain the rhetoric to you mulitple times, you are still proven to be an uneducateable moron

Typing slower in this case does not have the same effect as speaking slower as to be heard by someone. All I see is already typed text that has no indication of typing speed. I could call you a moron for that, but I’ll resist the temptation.

Posted on October 2, 2012 at 10:39pmThe truth is that Obama is the loser because everything he said he would do has been a lie.
Lame Stream Media turns everything around and blames anyone but Obama for his failures.
All Romney has to do is expose the truth about Obama’s deception and lies and than simply focus on the truth of his vision for restoring America and the Presidency as the shining beacon on the hill.
Obama and the media have been saying the opposite of what is true the past four years.
When the media says Romney is behind in the polls you can bet that the truth is that Obama is behind in the polls.

Posted on October 2, 2012 at 10:44pmHe can’t. After all, this ‘loser narrative’ started not with the media, but with the commentators right here on The Blaze a year ago before the primaries even began. So many here, it turns out, were right. And I am sure they will be quite vocal agreeing with me in 35 days.
