Obama and Romney Will Be Subjected to Real Lie Detector Test During Tonight’s Debate — Seriously

President Barack Obama and GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney will not only be debating each other for the very first time tonight, they will also be subjected to an involuntary lie detector test.

The lobbying group Americans for Limited Government (ALG) announced Wednesday that they have contracted with the company Voice Analysis Technology to separate the truth from fiction during the presidential debate.

ALG President Bill Wilson called the technology “a break-through for the American people.”

“For the first time, within a few hours of a political debate, the American people will know if the candidates are telling the truth, and better be able to judge what promises are real, and which ones are nothing more than political pandering,” Wilson said in a statement.

The organization said it plans to publish the results of the so-called lie detector test within three hours of the debate’s conclusion.

Americans for Limited Government explains how the technology works:

Unlike a traditional polygraph which requires a suspect’s cooperation, and places numerous probes on the person’s body, voice analysis literally takes the words right out of a person’s mouth and based upon variations in speech patterns determines if statements being made are true or not with a high degree of accuracy. With words like inaccurate, person uncertain, false statement, highly stressed and truth, the user’s computer screen literally explodes with data related to the veracity of the subject’s assertions.

Further, Voice Analysis Technology, the company behind the truth-telling technology, has an impressive track record.

They have been hired to help with a number of high profile criminal cases, including the search for the person who killed Natalie Holloway, the teen who vanished during a student trip in Aruba, according to a ALG press release. The company was also enlisted to detect the accuracy of one of former presidential candidate Herman Cain’s accusers during the primary. The results indicated she was being dishonest in her accusations.

“The U.S. Department of Defense, Bureau of Prisons, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and more than sixty other law enforcement agencies across the U.S. all have contracted with Voice Analysis Technology to help them successfully interrogate suspects,” the release said.

“The operating assumption by the general public is that if a politician’s mouth is moving, he or she must be lying, by putting Obama and Romney to the test, we will find out if this is true,” Wilson said.

It is unclear how seriously the mainstream media will take the results, despite Voice Analysis Technology’s reputation for getting to the truth. Either way, it should be exciting.

  The DNC accidentally released the ad and “song” that will play on the night of November 6th. They’re already assuming an Obama victory.   This may not be the best idea even though it may sound good on the surface. Many people can lie without anything to show they are – Obama is a sociopath and has been a professional pathological liar probably since he was a kid. So if it shows that he told the truth, that will only serve to make others like him even more or even change their votes for him. Oh well…..we shall see………

Rather, his goal is to reduce this great country to third world level. He hasn’t made a “mistake” in his actions over the past 3.5 years, his actions have been intentional and absolutely effective.   Don’t most lie detection techniques, physical or not, rely on some sort of baseline data? For example, they need audio of the candidates saying something that is known to be undeniably true? Well, how will that work? It’s hard to set a baseline on a compulsive liar. Heck, Obama can’t even say “My name is Barack Obama” without it being entirely true!

There are two things that are in Obama’s favor, and will fail to register lies on his part.
1..By all indications, he is a pathological liar.
2..I think he honestly believes his own lies.

In Romney’s case, the least indication of evasion or deception will be shouted from the rooftops by the MSM.

  Spot on…..pathalogical liers have the ability to control their impulses, facial expressions, body gestures, eye movements, etc etc etc etc. Not to mention, that as commander-in-chief (sorry, cannot capitalize the C-I-C in Obama’s case); likely could tap into government resources who train operatives to pass traditional lie detector tests. But in Barry-boy’s case, likely not necessary because as you stated, he’s a pathalogical liar; and/or is delusional enough that he believes his world view is the truth.

  Not a new technology , I used a VSA in my business in the 90′s on phone calls and meetings , problem was the temptation to call peoples lies . You can not , it does not end up well at all but is great for your own information . Side Note : When I got the machine and took it to a party the first month a married couple we knew very well got divorced 5 months later after the used it on each other that night ! was not pretty to watch .
