MSNBC Host Shocked to Hear Romney Surrogate Call Obama ‘Lazy’ and ‘Detached’, Asks Him if He Wants to ‘Take It Back’

John Sununu Calls President Obama Lazy and Disengaged in Debate Against Mitt Romney

Former New Hampshire Gov. and Mitt Romney surrogate John Sununu left MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell shocked on Thursday after he told the host that President Barack Obama’s debate performance on Wednesday revealed how “lazy and detached” he is as president.

“What people saw last night, I think, was a president who revealed his incompetence — how lazy and detached he is and how he has absolutely no idea how serious the economy problems of the country are and how he has failed to even begin address them,” Sununu said.

He went on: “And I think even the liberal press reacted with shock at this revelation and I find it fascinating now this morning after they’ve slept, watching them all scrambling around to clean up the mess the president left on the floor last night. Sununu said Romney on the other hand brought “specifics” to the debate not “bumper sticker numbers” like Obama.

Mitchell was visibly taken aback by his comments and quickly offered Sununu the chance to take his remarks “back.”

“Governor, I want to give you a chance to maybe take it back. Did you really mean to call Barack Obama, the President of the United States, lazy?” she asked.

“Yes,” Sununu replied bluntly, adding “He said ‘they are making me do this work.’ He didn’t want to prepare for this debate. He is lazy and disengaged.”

Mitchell admitted that “a lot of people are questioning” whether Obama did well in the debate, but said “I think to call the president lazy and disengaged is another whole question.”

“Alright, Andrea. Whatever,” Sununu said, chuckling to himself.

Really? Miss Mitchell??? You are THAT “shocked?!?” Did you even WATCH the debate? If so, then what did it look like to you? Did it look like a President who had prepared for a debate to keep his job? Did Obama look all that enthused? Did he exude much energy at all?

And so he called Obama “lazy.” Prior presidents (including our last one) were called much worse things! YOU are a HOOT!

Do you live in a cave, dear lady?? If so, you really should get out into the world more often.

Yes, quickly! Before block ops come kicking down the door to throw you in the dankest, darkest dungeon where anyone who dares criticize the Beloved Leader is thrown! Because Obama might be displeased! BECAUSE BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING?!

A question like that really does provoke a raised eyebrow from me. It’s just curious to me why an interviewer would ask something like that. “Are you sure? Final answer? Do you really want to same something bad about the President–Barack Hussein Obama, in case you forgot, he’s like a rockstar or something!–of these United States?”

Of course I was speaking figuratively when I said I am going to buy a new pair of cowboy boots to kick Obama when he is finally knocked down. I am just so sigeed off that a majority of blind American CItizens chose to install a non-american un-american man as president. Things like this isn’t suppose to happen in the United States. We have safeguards for this but the safeguards failed with the election of Obama. So this four year of experimental socialism just shows what it would be if it was finally alllowed to take root. It would be horrible. So I am glad MItt Romney is doing so well and frends like John sununu is willing to step forward and explain what a failing Obama is and why it is so critical to vote him out now. Socialism is a poisonous weed that could grow in the United States and that is why we need to take it out with as much root as poossible.

The look of shock on Andrea Mitchell’s face tells it all. She is absolutely shocked that someone does not reverence Barrack Hussein Obama. “I want to give you a chance to maybe take it back…” I sure hope that Sununu is healthy and available for a Chief of Staff role in the Romney Whitehouse.

Mrs. Greenspan is obviously not used to people who speak truth to power. She expects only platitudes when speaking of the President, the Federal Reserve or the holy UN. Well, the game is changing Mrs. Greenspan, we are on to the fact that your husband and his successor played a major part in bringing this financial disaster upon the U.S, and Europe, and the public will not soon forget.

Hey – lay off the president. He has set a record that may never be broken. I read where as of Jan. 20 th (3 Years) he has played 103 games of golf. Theres only 52 weeks a year and he got 33 of them on the course. These lovers of Obama can only defend him so far and this is getting worse each day!

The word lazy was not a good choice. There were plenty of other ways to describe Obama but to pick a word that the libs can scream is a code word was not smart. Romney was smoking last night and little distractions like the use of a word that causes bad reactions was just plain stupid on Sununu’s part. He claims to be speaking for Romney and therefore he should have been playing up how great Romney was last night and how the president seems to just speak talking points. He didn’t have to insult Obama with crude taunts. Things like that do put off independents.
