See the ‘Biggest Human Chain Reaction’ With This Rube Goldberg Machine
A Rube Goldberg machine is one that takes a ridiculous number of steps to complete a relatively simple task. TheBlaze has brought you Rube Goldberg’s by this 7-year-old and another that’s perhaps the world’s most complex way to pop a balloon.
Now, here’s a “human-powered freerunning” Rube Goldberg machine. As the video, made by Redbull, states, “performing simple tasks in a complex manner is what the human-powered freerunning machine is all about.”
Redbull, which produced the video, describes it further on its website as the “next level of freerunning action” that adds up to the “biggest human chain reaction.”

The main character powering the machine is 20-year-old German freerunner Jason Paul. As Paul leads the video, he poses the question: What do you know about Rube Goldberg?

Posted on October 6, 2012 at 3:37pmWell I’m not into looking at ‘bare bums’ on video but putting that one ‘complaint’ aside…
I thought it was AWESOME! Did it make a wit of sense? NO. But was it over the top COOL? YES!
And lots of young men the ages of these guys are out on the streets hurting people. Instead these young dudes are doing something creative and having a blast doing it!
Just wish I had half of that energy and my body was still that fit… alas it is not. ;o)

Posted on October 6, 2012 at 4:09pmI agree. These are just some dudes risking their own necks and having fun. They probably wouldn’t even be allowed to film it in the US, where now we aren’t even trusted to feed our own kids — much less, build a business without the government’s “help.”
If I may, here’s a modified repost of a comment on a previous article:
I appreciate some variety, and don‘t care if every story on the Blaze isn’t about the most politically outrageous, gut-wrenching or earth-shattering event on the planet. There are always sites like The Drudge Report. This site’s “about” statement has always read, “Our goal is to post, report and analyze stories of interest on a wide range of topics from politics and culture to faith and family.”
I might offer compliments or criticism, but I’ve never commented on any article, suggesting that the story itself wasn’t worth reading. It would be an insult to the reporter that only makes the commenter appear petty. If you don’t pay money for something, you don’t have any reason to complain about it.
Have you ever listened to a recital by a musician who mastered an instrument and said, “Wow, he must have a lot of spare time on his hands”? The accomplishments of Jason Paul and his crew may not exactly compare, but talent is manifest in many ways.

Posted on October 6, 2012 at 12:37pmFor the people putting this down, I only want to say one thing…
When the Founders said “pursuit of happiness”, I’m pretty sure that they were talking about their own happiness, and couldn’t care less if it made you happy or not.

Posted on October 6, 2012 at 12:51pmHow, just how, can you turn something so esoteric as this video into a negative comment about, of all things, the founding fathers??
Please, just go back to your navel gazing. And please, breath through your nose.
Panem et circenses.

Why can’t you people just try to enjoy life. There is so much hate coming from blaze commenters. You make me ashamed to be a conservative.

Posted on October 5, 2012 at 9:25pmWhen I first started viewing I reconized the first few parts of it to be the same as the Milton Bradley’s Mouse Trap Game. Then it went into some different stuff that was great to see. It was fun to watch until you had the Human appear & I lost interest for then it was up to a person to continue the motions, instead of being the different gadgets to continue the motion
