Billy Crystal Impersonates Romney on the ‘Late Show’ With Letterman: ‘Ask Me Whatever You Want’

Billy Crystal Impersonates Mitt Romney on The Late Show With David Letterman

Billy Crystal appeared on “The Late Show” with David Letterman Friday night, doing his best to emulate Letterman’s most sought-after guest– Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Apparently growing desperate, Letterman has taken to telling crowds not to vote for the Republican until he appears as a guest on his show. Despite Letterman’s best efforts, however, Romney remains uninterested.

On Friday night, actor/writer/producer/director/comedian Billy Crystal solved that problem by holding a large photo of Mitt Romney in front of his face, speaking through a hole he had cut out around the mouth.

“You can ask me whatever you want,” Crystal began, making “kissy” lips. After Crystal asked what the hardest part of being president would be, the actor joked: “Moving into a smaller house.”

He continued: “This president doesn’t get it…We’ve got to downsize. I’m downsizing, like most Americans have to. I’ve got five boys, I’m downsizing to three. Two of them are going to the [Cayman Islands] to watch my loot…”

This isn’t the first time Letterman has laughed as a guest impersonated the Republican nominee. Less than a week ago well-known actor and comedian Jack Black waltzed onto “The Late Show” with his jeans pulled unnaturally high, awkwardly impersonating Mitt Romney.

Many point out that if Letterman really wants to score the interview, it likely wouldn’t hurt if he stopped claiming, for instance, that Romney “hasn’t paid a nickel in federal income tax” as he did on Friday night.

“That’s right, we have a felon running for president,” Letterman added, echoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Obama campaign manager Stephanie Cutter.

No longer will I watch the Letterman show. Every night he has some ugly, demeaning thing to say about Governor Romney. Previously, he regularly made horrific remarks about Sarah Palin and her family. Letterman is not a comedian; he is washed-up creep who does nothing but make fun of decent people who disagree with his politics. Billy Crystal has always been an unfunny,pompous man. Who cares what he says?–His opinion is worthless and irrelevant.

  I have never watched Lettermen. He’s a nasty cruel person and I am getting fed up with him and his liberal friends bashing Mitt Romney too. He and Crystal are has bins and to get attention they go after Mitt Romney. They are pathetic. What happened to Billy Crystal’s real face. Did he have plastic surgery? Lettermen makes what 45 million a year so isn’t he the one percent? I’ll be glad when he and Crystal crawl back in their holes. Hopefully they’ll stay there.   PENNIFER, I used to like Letterman back when he was still funny as an occasional fill in for Johnny Carson. But, once he was entrenched into the Hollyweird crowd, he certainly turned into the hate filled creep that he has become. He certainly has the right to say what he wants and I will in no way try to take that away from him. But, I have the right to turn him off when he comes on.
  Minor correction for you statement. He is ugly, and demeaning, and makes horrible remarks about any Republican, and conservative. Not just Romney.

  but these two are truly pathetic.
  
  Crystal always fancied himself as one of the golden comedians,
  like Alan King-
  he has never come close,
  he’s not funny, he’s just weird, a weirdo with fish lips & spray paint ****.
  
  He reminds me of that drawing toy,
  the one that has a face on a piece of cardboard,
  covered with plastic that contains loose graphite
  & comes with a stub of an unleaded pencil.
  
  You swish the pencil around & form magnetic **** & features with the graphite.
  When you get it done,
  the balloon head looks like its covered in steel wool,
  just like Crystal’s dome.
  
  You shake it furiously,
  hoping for better results the second time around
  but sadly, you always end up with the same Brillo-Pad-head character.
  
  They still sell them-
  I bought one for my niece this past summer.
  
  She wanted to make the “Mr. Graphite” face look like Johnny Depp
  but after all these years,
  & forty minutes of artistic endeavor-
  it still, ended up looking like “Billy-FishLips-Crystal”.
  
  She cried & said she “didn’t want to play this stupid game any longer”.
  
  Letterman & Crystal cashed in on “STUPID” a long time ago.
  
  Here’s hoping Romney & Ryan continue to IGNORE both of them.

Letterman’s gotta try and score all the late night points he can now, because after the election he’ll resume his downhill trend – I haven’t watched that beaver-toothed cave-gapped loser in over ten years.

And just who the f#$% is Billy Crystal? Is he the same Billy Crystal that Howard Stern made cry on the air? If it is, do you know why Billy Crystal cried? Because Howard Stern was poking fun at him, just like Billy Crystal is poking fun at Romney…

  As a matter of fact, I wish those of you with Sirius/XM satellite radio would find Howard Stern’s Show and listen in on Monday, because I think the odds are he’ll cover this lapse in judgment between Bucky Dentures and Velcro-head in a very humorous way.   Lead, I don’t think it’s possible to blackmail Romney, seeing that he’s truly a decent man. He’s also the most qualified person to be the next president of the United States.
  
  it’s been extremely hard for Team Obama to find dirt on Romney with no affairs or divorces, or substance abuse problems to be found. Strange, but true, no man or woman has come out of the closet to claim an affair with him, and all his children seem to be the five boys he fathered with Ann.

  Actually the way the New World Order wants the election to play out is like this,
  They want the polls to say Obama is leading and they want to make it seem like the economy is improving.
  Than when Romney wins the election they want the minions to riot which will give Obama reason to impose Martial Law.
  There could be multiple terrorists attacks as well and it might seem scary but just remember if something bad does happen after the election it is just fear mongering by Obama and the liberal Demoncrats.

I’d like to see how much Federal income tax Letterman paid for the last two years AND. How much in charity he donated. I would venture to guess that Letterman donated under 10% in charity like all good, cheap, democraps do.

  They me premise this statement: I support Israel and GODS chosen people 100%! However as JESUS stated in the Bible that (paraphrase) “just because you were born of a Jew, and you say your a Jew doesn’t make you a Jew, for you have not followed the law and denied the faith, thus it would be better if you hadn’t been born.” I believe these are the ones he was referring to!
