‘Real News’ War Room: S.E. Cupp Previews Biden/Ryan Debate

The most recent post-debate polls show that Mitt Romney’s performance was so strong last week that he all but erased the president’s lead with registered voters. It’s hard to think of another presidential debate in recent history that has held such importance or impact. It’s not hard to imagine now that Thursday’s vice presidential debate will be one of the most watched in vice presidential debates history. On ‘Real News’ Monday, S.E. Cupp and the panel discussed what we can expect to see in Kentucky Thursday, and where Vice President Joe Biden and Republican Challenger Paul Ryan will succeed and struggle:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

It doesn’t matter how well prepared Biden is with his attacks and half-truths. He cannot defend the indefensible. Obama has failed in so many ways, Ryan won’t have enough time to list them all. Ryan will eat Biden alive.

We all know millions of citizens out there are without a clue, they don’t even know the Vice Presidents name. Ryan needs to show up, explain the Romney / Ryan plan and how they intend to get the United States back on the track of Freedom and Liberty, while creating jobs, and defending this nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Forget Joe, Obama has slapped Joe in the face with his communist moral codes four years in a row, and Joe hasn’t recognized them, or has he? Both should be impeached for what they’ve pulled over the last four years, not reelected.

      Really? Really?

Is that the best you can come up with? Maybe it is? Certainly sounds like something Obama would say in a debate. I can just hear it now, Romney looks Obama squarely in the eye and says, “and I will repeal Obamacare, Mr. President….and I mean that with all respect”….then Obama looks into the camera and sticks out his lower lip and says “Romney reminds me of poop.”

      Class.

What’s the news source saying Biden is good at debate? I am guessing the same source that claims Obama is the smartest man alive! Biden has two great (for Ryan) flaws. One he is a hot head, prone to knee jerk reaction, second he is arrogant. If I were Ryan during the debates, I would dismiss him and even poke at him. Hint at how he has been minimized by the current administration and how he is a big fat zero regardless of his title. Get him dirty mad and on the defense so I could control the tone and direction of the conversation.

RUK pray for the truth. If you were praying for that then Romney would have had nothing to say. Take the time to research his misrepresentations and lies. Of course he left out the really big ones like his Welfare to Work claim. This is a guy who knowingly lied during the primaries and has continued that strategy during the campaign. Don’t even think about claiming to be a good christian and tell me you don’t know how much he lies.

Biden tries to stir up emotions with drama, hyperbole, and phony dialect. That’s what he does and it’s all he’s got, but some people fall for it. If he tries this tactic at the debate, I hope Ryan exposes it for what it is: all theatrics and trickery, no substance.

He will have to rely on a crafty delivery accusing Ryan/Romney of lying (the last weapon when standing comparatively side by side on a stage. Let’s HOPE the people see through it.

I hope Paul Ryan will leave nothing to chance and spend due time preparing for the debate. At this point it is best for Ryan to tell his story to a large audience, and to undo all the negative ads put out by the dem’s. Just let Joe be the donkey he is and represents. If Joe is the clown he usually is, he will squander the time in this forum,as Paul makes good use of his moments to win over more voters for November 6th.
Leave nothing to chance; prepare to deliver the message you want to last with the American voters.

I don’t think we need to worry about Paul Ryan being prepared, it’s in his DNA. I remember how he took apart the President in a healthcare metting towards the beginning of this administration. He knew the President’s bill better than he did and Obama had no come back. Read more insights at: http://smallcraftadvisorychronicles.blogspot.com/

Damon_K, please forgive me, but I am worried and will continue to be worried until Romney and Ryan are sworn in to hold the positions of President and Vice-President respectively. While Rep. Ryan is a very capable individual, I do not want to see him let up or slow down until he has earned his place in the Administrative Branch of this country and has helped to undo so much of what the current administration has done to harm us as a nation.
I am convinced if we are not vigilant and diligent at every step that we will not be able to recover the path that has made this country a beacon to the world of freedom to self determination.

Ryan has a tough balance to meet. He has to set the record straight on Joe, but he cannot be disrespectful or demeaning. Joe is an older guy and not matter how stupid, he deserves respect on the stage. So, just like Romney made all of his points, but was righteous doing so, not putting Obama down, but fairly and objectively, from his point of view, stating his case. Ryan needs to do the same, with that tone, with that certainty and with that same level of respect.
Joe is not Obama. Obama was seething, but won’t react, he won’t allow himself to explode. Joe will let loose. When he feels cornered, he loses it. If he does that, I am certain Ryan will be prepared. There is no way that Ryan’s handlers are not posing that scenario, with Joe going off, screaming or making those crazy accusations. Ryan will have to allow the rant to go on, and then come back with the facts: No matter how much you scream and rant, it will not change the reality of the failures of this administration, the 23 million out of work, and the dismal economy.
I cannot wait for Thursday to come. It is like anticipating a heavyweight championship fight!
    Go Ryan!

We know by this, who the confident candidate is.

Ryan is going to chew up Biden and spit him out.

Why does she dress like they are going to a cocktail party?… And today on The Glenn Beck Program – the woman filling in for Glenn – all the professional men she interviewed wore a suit and tie. … even the woman who she interviewed wore a PROFESSIONAL suit SUITABLE FOR THE WORKPLACE BECAUSE THEY RESPECT THEIR JOB… but the woman taking over for Glenn today looked like she was going to a backyard barbeque….. could you imagine if the men she interviewed today dressed like that???!……. in a body hugging short sleeved t-shirt? Should these women take their profession seriously by a better way to dress? Perhaps PROFESSIONAL?????? Men don’t dress like bimbos and focus on their bodies more than their jobs… so why do you women?…. Oh, that’s right… “Me, Me, Me!” Ugh. Go put on more lip gloss. And you wonder why people don’t take women seriously… um….duh…. Dress like Hilary Clinton and wear a pant suit – you know, PROFESSIONAL. People don’t stare at her boobs or her form fitting clothes or lip gloss… they actually listen to what she says, even though it’s no good.
