Shock Poll: Romney Surges By 12 Points After Debates
Prior to last Wednesday’s debate, the media had all but completely written off Mitt Romney as a valid Presidential candidate. The obituaries were openly being rehearsed. “Romney can’t win,” the refrain went. “He’s so far down that he’d have to swing things by double digits! Even Reagan couldn’t do that!”
Yet according to a new poll by the Pew Research Center, that’s exactly what Romney has done. Strikingly, Pew had recorded Romney trailing the President by a whopping 8 points after the conventions. Yet without any apparent shift in sampling, Pew’s poll now shows Romney up by 4 among likely voters, and running even with the President among registered voters. The result is outside the poll’s margin of error of 3.4 points, and if accurate, would show that Romney has a real, statistically significant lead for the first time since the conventions. Talking Points Memo reacts:
The dramatic 12-point swing in Pew’s poll from Obama to Romney is perhaps the strongest piece of evidence to date that the president has paid a political price for his listless performance in the Denver debate. But the complete suite of post-debate surveys from national pollsters is only beginning to emerge, and the early indications are of a less dramatic shift than Pew is showing.
Republican-leaning Rasmussen found Romney leading by 2 points in its Saturday release, which was based on findings from the tracking period of Oct. 3-5. But in Rasmussen Monday’s poll, conducted entirely after the debate and partially following the release of Friday’s encouraging jobs report, the two candidates were tied again.Gallup reported on Monday that Obama and Romney were tied in the three days immediately following the debate, after Obama led by 5 in the three days prior. But on Monday, Gallup’s tracking — which is based on a 7-day rolling average — Obama again led by 5.
The poll took place over a period that also includes the release of the new jobs report – a report that was expected by some to provide the President with a bounce. If Pew is any guide, that bounce has not materialized yet.

Watch democrat districts with 100%+ voter turnout, and watch the votes that come in late. I do not belive obummer will give up power without exhausting every possible option. If he thinks he is going to lose, he might orchistrate “spontaneous” uprisings, which cause obmummer to “postpone” the election for “the safety” of the voting citizens…

If it’s a person that see’s through the Progressive party charade then you are right. People call Obama a chameleon, and he is, all the while supporting a candidate that’s been on every side of every issue he’s ever faced. Why? Because fact is no matter what Obama or Romney say today, they are both going to do the exact same thing the other would have done once elected.
Now, to the credit of the synopsis here on this site, I do recognize that perhaps this vote is about whether or not now is the time for the Progressive Party to put the nail in the American coffin. They’ve waited a long time, and they are on the verge. This fact in unmistakable. A vote for their guy Romney tells the Progressive America isn’t quite yet ready for the largely non-violent revolution they have planned; a vote for their guy Obama means America is in fact ready. Since that’s the case many here accept I’d rather them jump the gun and lose, than get it right with Romney and wait until 2016. This is why I encourage everyone who see’s through the charade to vote Obama, to save our liberty. An honest vote for Romney means the wool is think over your eye’s, a dishonest vote for Obama means your beating the wolf at his own game.
Now is it OK for you if us “Paulers” waste our vote on Johnson? Or do still want us to not waste our vote?
So please, stop telling us we’re wasting our votes and just support us voting our conscience already. What’s

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 6:17pmHere’s why we should be scared of Gary Johnson votes or other write-in votes:
1..Justice John Paul Stephens (age 92) has already said he would retire and is just waiting for Obama to be reelected to insure that a liberal is appointed to replace him.
2.. Justice Scalia just turned 76
3.. Justice Kennedy is also 76
4.. Justice Breyer turned 75 on August 15.
5.. Justice Ginsburg is 79 and looks like “death warmed over” as she has been battling pancreatic cancer since 2009.
The next president could appoint as many as 4 new Justices over the next few years. Thursly, this November’s election is about more than the economic outlook of the USA, ObamaCare, foreign policy and taxes. It is about our way of life as we know it.
The brute fact is that whoever we elect as president in November (and its not going to be Gary Johnson) is going to choose at least one new member of the Supreme Court very shortly after taking the oath of office. If you don’t think it matters who the one making those decisions might be, I think you‘re definitely smokin’ something funky or have reached a level of apathy that is unacceptable.
So for anyone who is thinking of not voting because your favorite didn’t get nominated, or thinking of writing in a candidate who can’t win, think again and imagine this:
SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ERIC HOLDER
‘nough said.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 5:31pmI seen a lot of signs go up lately. He might pull it off. I did notice you can pretty much tell by the neighborhood where their support lies. The nicer the neighborhood, the more apt you are to see Romney signs. I’m still going to be watching from the sidelines. I might put a Gary Johnson sign up.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 5:50pmBLUEBONNET, Nah, have to say that you are wrong. Although I have disagreed with JUSTANGRY on a number of issues, and I’m sure he has with me just as often. I have to say that he has been steadfast and passionate with his support of the Libertarian line. He has actually say that he has stuck to his guns in this matter ever since he has been here. My personal view has all along been to get 0bama packed up and out of the White House. My least favorite choice would have been Mitt, but now that he as the nomination, I am one of his biggest supporters. As Beck says, if he doesn’t work out, we’ll just have to find somebody else for the 2016 run. I do wish JUSTANGRY would join us and vote for Mitt, because we’ve already seen what Perot brought us twice in the ’90s.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 5:51pmIf those people in the nicer neighborhoods begin voting for Democrats, they wouldn’t be living in those nicer neighborhoods much longer.
If those people living in the worse neighborhoods would STOP voting for Democrats, they wouldn’t be living in those worse neighborhoods much longer.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 6:33pm@Soy….Do you think NAFTA and GATT were good for the United States?….I sure don’t. We the people, through our elected representatives, should be able to impose tariffs to protect our interests. That’s one of the reasons I don’t call myself a Libertarian. It’s all good, Soy. Peace.

I would say your problems with NAFTA etc are really because of the government, federal reserve, and loose monetary policy – but free trade gets the blame for jobs moving overseas. Thats the way it always goes down

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 9:58pm@JustAngry – I’m angry too and probably for many of the very same reasons. However, I am a realist. Go ahead and vote your convictions, but as I posted above, ponder this: Supreme Court Justice – ERIC HOLDER. Now is not the time to sit on the sideline and be hardheaded.

I am not a huge fan of tariffs but I can deal with them to close our trade deficit. I think the rest of their platform would off set any negative effects of the tariffs.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 6:13pmGary….. thanks for the heads up. that story makes more sence than anythung i’ve heard. i never believed that Stevens was there to retrieve weapons that the US gov gave to so called freedom fighters. nor did i believe the story that obama was telling us. this very well could be the start of WW3. which makes me think of how the SPIRIT is calling us to repent for our sins. i’m hearing and seeing more people turn back to GOD. Turn away from sin and repent, the time is drawing near. i know others feel this way like i do.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 7:53pm@ Gary_K same post I made, only shorter, under the Romney speech article. We are being, and have been played by Russia since 911. They have been behind the scenes forever to bring us down. We think we’re facing stealth jihad but behind that is stealth Kremlin.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 7:55pmI’m in sync with BLITZ…..Obama is waaay too casual and nonchalant, like he knows the fix is in. Too bad there will never be a history of these times written. Remember sammy Davis Jr. on rowan and Martin’s laugh in? “Here come de judge, here come de judge, order in the court, cuz HERE COME DE JUDGE”.
All the dirty tricks and short sales will be exposed….real soon, PRAISE GOD.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 10:08pmAs in capable of more lies and as in more character assassination attempts. Mark my word, within the week before the election, the Chicago/Soros machine will make accusations against Romney himself or Ryan for which the GOP will have to scramble to refute. They must be prepared for the worst case scenario for it will happen compliments of the liberal liar alliance – the MSM.

Posted on October 8, 2012 at 5:48pmI don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m so sick of these D.C. people going there supposedly FOR THE PEOPLE, when in fact, so many are there wheeling and dealing with anything they can put their slimy hands on for the power and prestige and name recognition and anything that isn’t nailed down.
We need decent people who actually are in D.C. to take care of America’s business and keeping our Country Free. You know, kinda like Mr. Smith goes to Washington and worked for US. Yep, it was an old movie but most of us remember when there were people like Mr. Smith who cared about the Nation, not just themselves. Get rid of the old guard and lets get honesty for a change.
