Video Shows Teen Viciously Sucker Punching High School Teacher

Surveillance cameras captured an unidentified teenager viciously sucker punching an English teacher from the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts in a downtown alley last Thursday.

Police told WTAE they are looking for the person who attacked James Addlespurger, 50.

In the video, Addlespurger can be seen walking by a group of teenagers holding a bag when one of the boys suddenly strikes him in the face.The punch sends Addlespurger to the ground, causing him to hit his head on the concrete. The teenagers then walk away as if nothing had happened.

At least three good Samaritans rushed to help Addlespurger, including a woman who witnessed the attack, the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette reports.

WTAE, citing police, reports that Addlespurger teaches 10th and 12th grade English at the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. He was reportedly recovering from the incident at his home.

Because the attacker has not been identified yet, motive for the attack is still unclear.

However, the New York Daily News reports that investigators have identified three of the six teens seen on the surveillance video. They are still searching for the person who hit the teacher.

That teen “definitely went out of his way” to hit Addlespurger, said Pittsburgh Police Detective Al Flemm, who noted that he wasn’t even the closest to the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts educator at the time.

Addlespurger said he didn’t recognize any of the kids in the group.

They all look alike and dress alike, and sucker punch out of nowhere, so the victim can’t identify the attacker.
Where is someone with a conceal carry permit when you need them?

  I wonder if he was still a liberal when he woke up. I wonder how they feel about this over at huffpo, when one of their own, complete with little patches on his elbows and book bag,gets jacked for no reason. It’s a pretty good analogy for what happend to a lot of the dems in 2008. They got sucker punched by a common n and never saw it coming.

  I think if white people were allowed to shoot first, ask questions later, like Trevon Martin, the world would be a better place. Blacks do that stuff with whites all the time.   Look at it this way, that boy will likely never know real happiness. His entire life will be spent paying for his choices in life. I almost feel sorry for him. On the other hand, the teacher no doubt has a rich and happy life that he can get back to soon enough. For the rest of the White race, know that the race wars started a while back but few people have told you about it yet. If Obungler loses reelection, it will be all out in the open.

I had thought we were beyond this, but 4-yrs of Obama stirring up the race hatred has done this country no good. 4-more years (if we make it) & things will really be dangerous. Do Blaze readers really hate those with dark skin that much? I hope the posts in this thread are not the majority belief as they are truly racist. I am a medical professional and worked with many people of all racists including, dare I say, Muslims who are ethical and moral. I have had real dirtbag patients including many white trash meth addicts, state prisoners, etc.

  An important point to make….Character is what matters. Not color. I have seen actions by individuals of all races that are “evil”. You don’t have to knock someone out to be of low character. Dishonor can be evident in such things as lying, cheating, or stealing. Sometimes, you can show it in a post. A person should be classified as a dirtbag based on their character, not based on the color of their skin. Dirtbags exist on all levels. Some, like what we see here, just magnify “evil” more than others. But, no matter how you slice it, evil exists. And watching people try to fill the emptiness in their lives with hatred is shocking to say the least. There will never be enough hatred and death to fill the emptiness of people who are already dead inside. Satan is their master and hatred is what feeds them.

  I mean, it happens in thousands of events all over the country every year, and it does nothing but increase in intensity. The only other things that accelerate at greater speed and intensity are the excuses the press and authorities make for these attacks……that is when they don’t ignore them and fail to report them at all.
  
  And when they give excuses, they all have about the same theme, “These are youths bored or ones who attack anybody who comes along, “race plays no part in it.”
  
  Yet in 99.6% of the cases the blind-sided and mob attacks always involve blacks attacking whites….and in the remainder of the incidents, they attack Asians.
  
  Only a gullible fool would conclude that these are not racially motivated.
  
  I can only hope that these MSM geeks and Law Enforcement dorks….and their families….. will become victims at some point.

  i’m not saying there is an excuse for this behavior, i’m just saying that the institutions our tax dollars pay for create the environment where this type of behavior is encouraged. There are now at least 2 or 3 GENERATIONS of people who think the only life there is for them is living in the projects. There is an entire culture of promoting the belief that the only way to get out of the hood is to sell drugs, join gangs, and be pimps. In most basic terms, we the people are subsidizing the foundation that this culture is built on. I have friends of all skin colors, races, and ethnic backgrounds. If there is ever any kind of “race war”, i will fight to the death for any God fearing soul regardless of their skin color. On the other hand, if some group of people decides to get together and start attacking people based on their skin color or belief, justice will not wait for too long… Just wanted to draw the contrast between myself and some of the other comments on this article

  True but most will agree that if you have a ccp and are in fact carrying, your attitude and defensive level must be on a better alert.
  For example, the closest two? I would have walked out of arms length, if they “fade” towards me, its eye contact for both. If they know me, the altercation is mostly adverted, if they assault, foght or flight decision time.

  I know nothing about PA’s concealed carry laws. But, unless I miss my guess, I’ll wager that weapons are not allowed on the street, concealed or open.

This man is just another part of the society that hasn’t yet figured out that the wolf pack has begun to believe that they are untouchable. This type of attack is happening all too often in northern cities. It is the same as the elderly bus driver who was sucker punched as a group of them got off the bus.

They are doing this and worse. They are listening to their mentors, the NBPP, Farrakahn, Sharpton, etc and are now exercising their *right* to attack white people. This is payback for imagined wrongs and they like it.

Sad. And why is it so hard to find the assailant? Because of the “don’t snitch” mentality. It’s BS!

Those boys don’t have any right to hold any anger towards society then, when life gives them a difficult or even unjust turn.

I pray to God those boys find the righteous path. I also pray for the teachers recovery and hope he’ll still be able to respect youth and nurture their minds without prejudice.

the mob rules………..if obama had a son it would be like the puncher….. insolent vermin this is happening once a week or more……….the bus driver story was just what yesterday or day before?………..instead of being a good example and telling the youth that they to could excel to become president,instead the youth hear nothing but class warfare at all points,……the media refuses to step up and hold obama’s feet to the fire…………what will happened on nov.7th(tue) chaos? hope not………….but looks like it………….

The only WHITE guy walking through the alley and he get assaulted by TRYVON MARTIN’s cousin. I knew immediately from the headline that this was black on white crime. Call me a racist (even though the demographics would say I am a minority) but this is happening more and more and the MEDIA in general refuse to call it what it really is. BLACKS attacking WHITES..

I want to know why this isn’t a hate crime? Is it because all the “teens” are black and the teacher is white. I bet if it was a group of 6 white teens hitting a black teacher it would be all over the news.
