‘Wilkow!:’ Obama Campaign Looks to China for New Attack Ads

The Obama campaign is out with a new video attacking Republican challenger Mitt Romney for “putting profits from China, ahead of security for America.” The ad points to a relationship facilitated by Bain Capital between a U.S. defense contractor and Huawei Technologies, a Chinese company that was at the center of an extensive “60 Minutes” report this past weekend.

The House Intelligence Committee has warned American companies to avoid doing business with Huawei because it poses a national security threat to the U.S. in the form of a possible connection to cyber-espionage from China. The Huffington Post noted Sunday night Romney’s “get tough” on China rhetoric and that in 2007 and 2008, Bain Capital partnered with Huawei to take electronics manufacturer 3Com private in a $2.2 billion deal. Romney was not operating Bain at the time but still paid millions by the company he founded as part of his retirement pacage each year.

Romney has been gone from Bain for 8 years and this latest attack ad has some conservatives looking for restraint from the president who admitted a few weeks ago that some of his ads go “overboard.” This isn’t the first time the Obama campaign has attacked Romney while pointing to business dealings with China. Earlier in the month the Obama campaign released an ad alleging that while Romney was at Bain they invested in a Chinese company knowing that they paid their workers “next to nothing under sweat-shop conditions.”

  The administration through Government Motors made a deal with the Chineese to build Volts over there. Also a battery company in Michigan which got 150 million dollars of taxpayer money is closing after not producing one battery in two years. Bain Capital? How about those GM plants closing in America and reopening in China? Last I knew, our government partially owns GM along with the Unions, so why is there not outrage about this?

  For the love of Pete verce. You really need to think before you shoot you mouth off. First, your comment has nothing to do with the article. Your “look something shiny” approach to try to distract from the latest lies from the Obama campaign only works on two types of people, children and liberals. Second Romney didnt flip on anything. He said he wouldn’t be a central tenant of his administration. Which I think is good because “it’s the economy stupid”. While I personally believe abortion is wrong, I believe that it is not the federal governments job to tell people how to conduct themselves. The state can do things like that because it is in their purview as long as it doesn’t conflict with their state constitution.

Just wait until Obama ads begin to expose Romney’s ties to not only China, but also to plastic knives/forks/spoons, paper plates and other less “fine” tableware. What’s the big deal about some expensive dishes one never uses anyways? Sorry, just trying to “think” like an Obama supporter to see what it’s like – it’s painful! (I really do know China is a country that’s been around awhile).

Obama is in power because he cheated the election in Chicago, then in the U.S. He is not supposed to be where he is. He is an agent of another government who is out for the destruction of the Republic.

I read an article that the Presidents get all the best drugs, anything they want…GREAT!…That’s why we need Romney, he’s got is head on straight that’s for sure. And thanks Bill Clinton, everyone says how great it was when he was President, it might have seemed that way but he put China in WTO, Greenspan let banks mail out credit cards by the hundreds, i bet i got about 50 a week in the mail. Clinton was leading us down a road to hell on a party train. That’s when China took all our mfg. companies and job. Clinton sucked and Hillary is worse!
