Debbie Wasserman Schultz Gets Into Heated Exchange With Piers Morgan

Appearing as a guest on Piers Morgan’s CNN show, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz did her best to defend the Obama administration’s handling of the deadly 9/11 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. She also tried to explain away the trove of misinformation that was circulated by the White House in the days following the attack that left U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans dead.

Morgan began by pointing out the obvious.

“It was very clumsily handled,” he said about the response to the Libya assault. “Was it scandalously handled? Should heads roll?”

After rolling her eyes and shaking her head, Schultz said that President Obama knew Ambassador Stevens personally, which had nothing to do with Morgan’s question whatsoever.

She continued: “What we need to do when the United States has been attacked, when Americans have been killed while serving our country;  we don’t need to have Mitt Romney and the Republicans in Congress taking their first instinct, being to take cheap political shots–”

“Let me stop you there,” Morgan interrupted. “Because it’s not about Mitt Romney or what he did…what’s equally inappropriate though is the suggestion that Ambassador Rice and others made public statements which were deliberately misleading in the sense of blaming this video when in fact it has to be known after four or five days that it was much more likely to have been a terrorist attack that had been plan.”

U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and other officials made public statements in the days after the attack, saying it was the result of an anti-Muslim video, not terrorism.

Schultz was literally shocked that Morgan would make such an accusation.

“I can’t even believe that you would suggest that Ambassador Rice would make deliberately misleading statements,” she said.

Schultz argued that things were “unclear” following the attack and it was important to conduct a thorough investigation before making a determination. Remember, Morgan asked her if the Obama administration was irresponsible for attributing the attack to the anti-Muslim YouTube video before the facts were known.

Altering his question slightly, Morgan asked where Schultz would admit that Ambassador Rice was simply wrong in her statement.

Schultz refused to provide simple yes or no answer and instead justified the Obama administration’s handling of the incident, saying they were working on the best information they had at the time.

She then attempted to accuse Republicans of using the attack as a “political opportunity” yet again. She called what the GOP is doing “un-American.” Morgan was forced to interrupt her.

“You are flogging the wrong dead horse,” he interjected. “It isn’t about what Mitt Romney or Republicans did. The… really important horse that should be flogged is the behavior and the statements of those who were in positions of responsibility and, we would assume, knowledge, and it’s pretty un-American, pretty un-American, to put out completely false statements before you know the facts, isn’t it?â€

“It is not OK for you to be saying that the administration was putting out completely false statements,” Schultz said, a look of disbelief on her face.

Morgan rebutted her by saying the information that the White House released turned out to be completely wrong.

“That doesn’t mean it’s false,” Schultz replied.

“What?” Morgan shot back, flabbergasted.

“That doesn’t mean it’s deliberate,” she clarified.

      ‘The truly amazing thing is that most of up just do not have the skill or moral base to lie like her. It is one thing to lie when the person you are speaking to does not realize that you are lying. It is another thing to know that the world knows the truth, and plow forward with this unbelievable twisting of the truth is shocking. She knows anyone having half a brain realizes that she is lying, and to go forward with this presentation is quite a different thing. WOW! really amazing.

      Recently, I was complaining about how countries like Greece are being railroaded by unelected Technocrats. My boss immediately lost his temper and exploded that “They’re elected!”

      I explained, no, it’s a parliamentary system. The guy running the show isn’t elected. People elect “his party”, and they install whomever they like.

      He continued to argue that because someone was elected, this was the same thing as the “guy in charge” being elected. It’s obviously not, but his reaction was swift and viceral.

      Folks who are capable of thinking this way probably don’t think they’re lying to you. They’re explaining their philosophy and advancing their agenda. See the difference?

      Poor Dimocrats must be so dizzy from all of that spinning. Sadly it appears as though multiple requests for security in Benghazi fell on deaf ears. Now they are dead. This is yet another instance of failure at the hands of government bureaucracy. Wouldn’t it be nice if security matters were handled by those most highly trained to defend…our military? Not some appointed idiot in Washington? The only ones willing to tell the truth at the Senate oversight hearings were the military.       Just to set the record straight, there WERE WMD’s found in Iraq. There was a giant warehouse of mustard gas tipped artillery rounds found among others. And we have satellite images of convoys of Iraqi military carrying what is believed to be chemical weapons into Syria days before the invasion. The captured scientists had admitted that they were lying to Saddam about how far along their nuclear programs was.

      Note to idiot liberals, WMD’s is not exclusive to nuclear weapons. If you guys would ever actually serve 1 day in the military, you would know this.

      I got chill bumps when Debbie Wassaman-Schultz pointed out that 0bama personally knew Ambassador Chris Stevens. I recall another election year deadly mishap considering how close Bill Clinton was to Secretary Ron Brown.
      Gotta hand it to the Clintons though. I believe they hold the record for the number of close friends who died during his first term as president. Believe it was 33. Oh what a magnificent coincidence, eh?

      I know the enemedia is doing everything to keep the you tube movie in the spotlight but I honestly believe that’s failing for them. The American people are starting to get the news that Obama’s Keystone Kops administration is covering up and stonewalling what happened in Libya. This will hurt Obama with less than a month to go until the election. Couldn’t happen to a more inept piece of socialist garbage and I hope the stigma lasts into 2016 when you know Hillary will make a run.

      Every time my cats hear this woman’s voice they head straight to their litter boxes……I now own 4 “Wasserman-Schultz” trained cats. They merely hear her voice……and their urge to defecate is so overwhelming that their front paws start scratching at the carpet…before they even reach the cat box. Pavlov’s dogs have nothing on my pet cats. Auto-Drooling is one thing ……triggering a bowel movement is on a whole new level.

I really think she must believe what she is saying, which would make her a pathological liar.       I’ve been noticing an interesting phenomenon; the Enemy of the State, the National Media, is doing a dance called the Creep. They are creeping ever so slightly to the center. I’ve seen this happening in some of their interviews, perhaps anticipating a Romney victory in November.

      Two notable examples:

      Look at how Piers Morgan interviewed Debbie wasserman Shultz. The questions were hardball and she was blasted like never before for her evasive answers. When was the last time you saw that on CNN? She even looked stunned, countering with “Now, Piers…” As if to say, don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

      And then, Anderson cooper interviewing Susan rice. You never see this kind of thing from the adoring Obama press. What next, George Stephenopolus hammering Hillary on the embassy attacks?

      I’m telling you, they’re covering their behinds so Romney won’t exact revenge. But I would anyway. They have all but abdicated their role as defenders and protectors of American liberty and security. They have willingly become an Enemy of the State, so I think Romney should tag their butts good. I say ban all the media except Fox, Breitbart, and The Blaze from press conferences indefinitely.
