Fox News Analyst Says Jay Carney Reminds Him of a ‘Younger, Sleeker Version of Old Stalin-Era Spokespeople’

Fox News analyst Ralph Peters on Wednesday said White House Press Secretary Jay Carney reminds him of “Stalin-era spokespeople” when it comes to answering questions about the deadly terrorist assault on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.

Carney on Wednesday defended the Obama administration’s initial response to the attack in calling it the result of a protest over an anti-Islam film, calling the situation “a moving picture.” The White House subsequently walked back that assessment and acknowledged it was a terrorist attack. The State Department said Tuesday there was no protest beforehand.

“I gotta tell you, listening to Jay Carney throws me in the flashbacks,” said Peters, a retired Army officer. “When I was in the military as an officer my specialty was the former Soviet Union, its military, its government. And listening to Jay Carney reminds me of a younger, sleeker version of old Stalin-era spokespeople.”

 

He continued, “I mean, this White House just makes it up. They lie and when that lie doesn’t work they tell another lie, and when that lie doesn’t work they tell another lie. I’ve never in the course of some pretty bad Republican and Democratic administrations in my lifetime, I’ve never seen such a wanton disregard for the truth.”

Peters said he thought the White House “panicked” because the re-election narrative that Obama had killed Osama bin Laden and beaten Al-Qaeda back was suddenly in question.

“On the 11th anniversary of September 11th, what do you get? A carefully coordinated brutal attack on our consulate in Benghazi for which we were resolutely unprepared, determined to be unprepared, and four Americans including an ambassador died,” he said. “So they went into panic mode, ‘who do we blame?’”

    I fully agree, Carney is a soviet robot programmed to lie. The only possible facial expression is the one of a depressive guy with constipation. But the White House is still working on an upgrade.

      Watch the footage if you can find it from yesterday…when Carney uses his “this is a moving picture” line at the press conference there’s a detectable smirk on his face from what appears to be pride in the line he used. I wanted to reach in and grab the b@stard by the throat when I saw that smirk. It was truly insulting to anyone with a shred of decency who understood the gravity of what was being discussed.
      I fully agree with Peters, Obama’s administration is held together by spin-meisters and apparatchiks with almost a contempt for the truth.

The aptly named “Carney” is stumbling and bumbling, feigning seriousness right until he says “this is a moving picture” and the smirk comes up like he knows it’s a line. There’s a detectable change in his manner. It’s like he’s about to ask for applause for it from the press pool..”what do you think guys? Huh? huh? Good line huh? It’s quite disgusting to witness.

      Arrogance runs deep in the Obama administration. Nov 7th will knock that smirk off their faces.

    And in the process of that lie they try to squelch the freedom of speech of an American who eventually ends up in jail. This administration was willing to throw all the blame on this one American as a scapegoat in order to save their own skin. Its despicable. May God help us.

    This administration like the Soviets have used the media and the uneducated masses to push their agenda. However, here in the U.S., there are too many that can think on their own and call them out on their misdeeds. If we can throw these Communists out in November, We must NEVER forget how close we came to being another U.S.S.R.. White guilt won this communist the election in ’08. I’m hoping common sense will win it for Romney in 2012.

Our nation has been taken over by communists in the most blatant coup ever to take place. The players……Obama and the Marxist AND the “chosen people” controlled Marxist Media and Hollywood that were co-conspirators in this takeover. America is now Amerika. Don’t expect Romney to win.     Mr Peters has it right. The main stream media and White House have, on several occasion, reminded me of the later 70′s and the threat of nuclear annihilation by the Soviets that hung over all our heads. In high school we where taught and able to watch the Pravda machine support the commies, no mater what. De’ja vu, our main stream media has lied, avoided truth and are unwilling to speak the truth, just as the Soviet propaganda machine operated in the 1970′s and today, with KGB Putin.

    He is right. Obama administration simply makes up on lie after another, after another, etc.

    Just pick a topic and if you do your home work you will find in almost every single case that at least two or more lies were produced to support what ever it is they were talking about. I mean it is just too easy. And yet the most complacent in the bag press just doesn’t see it and worse than that are too lazy to rebuff it. It is only now after weeks of out in the open evidence that they have grown a spine and started asking questions.

    Do you think they see the writing on the wall that Obama may not win and now they HAVE to START ACTING LIKE they care about the truth?

    If you think things are bad now just wait. God help us if Obama wins in November. Because you have not seen nothing yet!
