Fox’s Chris Wallace Blasts Biden’s ‘Unprecedented’ Debate Behavior: ‘Contemptuous and Disrespectful’
Fox News anchor Chris Wallace called out Vice President Joe Biden for arrogantly smiling and laughing throughout the entire vice presidential debate on Thursday night, calling his behavior “unprecedented.”
“I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a debate in which one participant was as openly disrespectful of the other as Biden was to Paul Ryan tonight,” Wallace said.
He explained that he has watched almost every vice presidential and presidential debates since the first four Kennedy-Nixon debates from 1960.
“It was openly contemptuous and disrespectful,” Wallace added. “It wasn’t just the facial gestures, it was also the words.”

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 8:27amBiden was being himself during that debate. I have friends that have the same reaction when caught either in a lie or stressed in a conversation because what is being said is true about them and they know it makes them look bad. These types of people grin and laugh no matter how serious the discussion to relieve stress.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 8:31amAlso in the Debate notice all Joe did was defend what the Administration had done. Even though their policies did not work. Biden did not once say what they are going to do the next four years different to fix the mess their Administration made in the last four years. Is Obama going to tell us all if he does not get this under control with in his first two years that it a one term proposition for the Presidency??? Looks like Oblamo lied about that toooo.
Obama need to again run a campaign on “Hope” and “Change” from his last four years as a failure.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 1:06amI listened on the radio on my way to work and found myself getting increasingly upset at the actions of our VP. I was hoping that Ryan would stop in mid sentence and ask the VP what the hell he found so funny. The country is in dire straights and he is laughing and smirking. so disrespectful to Rayn and the American people.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 9:00amYes! That was my thought exactly. Biden was plain condecending in his ridicule of his younger opponent. I’m sure he was thinking that Ryan is just a kid and doesn’t know anything about anything. This anal pore should be gone –just be gone. I thought he made a fool of himself as usual while Ryan kept his cool. I don’t know how he did it. I would have wanted to strangle the idiot.

If Ryan had a do-over he should have turned and looked straight at Biden and said:
“Joe, you keep laughing but I can assure you these are serious issues and most Americans
right now are not laughing —- they want solutions & answers —- not someone who thinks
this is all funny”

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 12:54amAs a independent listener/viewer I feel Joe B. was disrespectful to me by interrupting & trying to keep the discussion dis-jointed. He has no respect for the people watching the debate in order to make a decision about who to vote for. He lost my vote for ever. Very childish performance indeed.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 12:49amImagine if the demonstrated behavior was reversed. What if Ryan had been that condescending, rude and disrespectful of Biden? What if he had the same, crazy, over the top expressive behaviors? We would have had incredible amounts of wailing and outrage from the lefty, MSM pundits. They would be DEMANDING an apology from Ryan. I thought Biden’s performance was disgraceful. Ryan is the one that should be getting an apology, but don’t hold your breath for the MSM and/or Democrats to call for that.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 1:03amBiden interrupted Ryan way more than Romney did to Obama or the moderator, yet everyone said Romney was the bully over-talking everyone in that debate. I can only imagine what it would be like the other way around in this debate. Imagine what kind of back-lash would have erupted if it was Ryan laughing and interrupting Biden the whole time.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 12:43amIf Paul Ryan can sit opposite Joe Biden for a debate and not lose his temper when Biden laughed, interrupted, and sighed every time Ryan spoke, then Ryan is more than capable of sitting at any negotiation table to discuss issues with other leaders, foreign and domestic. I would have got up and walked away. If this is the new plan for Obama’s remaining debates, go for it. Have none of them learned that just because you are louder and more dramatic, it does not make what you are saying true? As a matter of fact, the old adage “he doth protest too much” comes to mind immediately. And when Biden said that intel failed in Benghazi and they did not know it was a terrorist attack, I marveled at the fact that Dems cannot remember that there was a congressional hearing yesterday and Ambassador Stevens clearly asked for more security and was refused. Not only that, he also asked for military transport out of there and that was refused or ignored. Another interesting fact learned from the hearing was that the entire attack was watched in the U.S. in real time. They clearly saw there was no mob or riot. I think the wheels are coming off Obama’s campaign and this was desperate at best. Before lying about Libya, the Dems should really realize that Hillary Clinton is not playing anymore, and reversed her own “there was a video” dialogue. Secretary Clinton is not going to take a hit for Obama. Even if she never runs for office, she is not going to support Obama’s Libya lies.

He could have done a 1/2 way decent job if he hadn’t acted like and old fool. His constant smirk took away anything he did good in that debate.
Paul Ryan did an excellent job in spite of the dam old fool trying to make a name for himself and as far as I’m concerned, his name is MUDD. No way do I want him to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Dammed old fool.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 1:13amThe thing that urks me, is that Romney was not disrespectful at all. Sure, he hammered Obama, but that’s because Obama deserves it for the horrifying last four years. All this senseless government spending on things that don’t work, nonsense economic philosophies and ass-up foreign policy is absolutely disgraceful! Obama should have been chastising himself for his failures. Every single bit of heat he took from Romney he deserved.
Paul Ryan did not deserve to be treated the way he was treated tonight. Even comparing Biden and Romney’s performance, Biden was by far the most arrogant, and disrespectful. Ignorance and utter bias can only say otherwise. I really, REALLY hope Romney takes the ever-crumbling Libya crisis and just rips Obama apart with it. It’s bitter sweet (take notes, Joe), but it will give Romney a big edge in finishing Obama off. If Romney does with the foreign policy what he did with the economic policy, he’s got this election. No question.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 12:17amJoe is a loose canon. Tonight he proved that again. Even if Romney wins, the problem will NOT be fixed. The problem is not with the government, it’s with the American people who live beyond their means and demand that the government do the same. You want the problem fixed, you have to fix the American people. Ain’t gonna happen! The American people aren’t willing to be fixed and want the gravy train to go on. It can’t, and it won’t. We are headed for a financial crash of unprecedented proportions and its going to be soon. The end is coming. Time to get ready folks! Get self sufficient and out of the cities.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 12:16amWhat about the moderator? She was at fault too. She never stopped Biden –never telling him to refrain from interrupting Paul Ryan–or something like that. Ryan was left with having to answer her questions and field interrupting attacks at the same time almost all the time. It got so annoying I began to yell at the TV because I could not watch or hear Ryan. Ryan was almost never allowed to finish his turn without Biden interrupting. I blame the moderator for allowing that to run over the course of the debate.

She should have had a huge mallet to whack the table with shut screamin’ Joe up. She clearly was on Joes side or just plain too gutless to stop him. These moderators need to go to Moderator School or just be given a dictionary so they can look up the definition of the word. None of them do their job it seems.

Posted on October 12, 2012 at 8:37amI loved it when the Moderator asked a question about the Administration that Biden did not like. Instead of debating Ryan or talking to the American Public, he brow beat the Moderator talking to her in a stern loud voice and even had his fingers pointed at her. I was like wow, he is in an argument with the person asking the questions.
I also laughed during the debate too just like Biden. Every time this clown looked into the camera and said “Folks, who you gonna believe”. Those were knee slappers. Everyone in your Administration including you have been caught lying over the last four years.
