Here Are the Best Facial Expressions of Joe Biden from the Debate

There’s no doubt that one of the biggest stories of Thursday night’s vice presidential debate was the smirking, laughing, and huffing of Joe Biden (see our post on the reaction here). Don’t believe us? Just check out the myriad of pictures of it all. The photographers were having a field day:

I wonder what the person running the White House thought about the debate….

That would be Valerie Jarret BTW.

Here’s the psychology of it: I think by tomorrow morning, millions of men who are the intelligent, serious, hardworking type (like Ryan) will wake up and finally make the association that the sick feeling in their gut watching the debate was that Biden came across as that abusive, loud, obnoxious laughing-drunk, condescending, grandfather that shows you no respect, that you cant reason with and dismisses anything you say or do no matter how clearly in the wrong they are and how clearly you have researched your point.

Ryan relied on facts, Biden on ridicule.
Ryan showed respect, Biden showed disdain.

Biden will not be able to recover from this. Before he was the likable and goofy uncle who said weird and crazy things, entirely forgivable. Now, he’s the arrogant sexist who tried to talk down the moderator and manspalin to her how HE knew what he was talking about and SHE didn’t.

      a friend pointed this out:

“”If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet.”

Well, tonight I saw the real DIFFERENCE:

ROMNEY and RYAN speak TO us and ABOUT things as IF we are ADULTS
OBAMA and BIDEN speak AT us with total disdain

I’m glad that MSNBC first poll had RYAN 58 and Biden 36; CNN RYAN 48 – Biden 44…. I mean
they are not even able to con their own MSM buddies.

A couple of times it was very much like TWO against one. This woman was oppressive and while I’m sure she meant well…she could have learned a lot from DAVID Lehrer !
I mean, it’s very clear now that Obama is just flailing around. That silly inane Stephanie Cutter has a lot in common with Obama, they both think they are “marvelous” – they are both SO WRONG.

WOW!! Biden made a few good points, but he has to be, easily, the nastiest, rudest, most belligerent horses arse that I have ever seen. I can’t believe his demeanor and overall lack of respect for the American people.

That being said, on points, I believe Biden won the debate…unless his behavior over shadows the points he made verbally (personally, I believe the negativity of his non-verbals far out weigh the positives of his verbal message).

Personally, I can care less if he was completely correct (which he was not) on all points, I would never vote for any person who behaved the way Biden did. What a complete lack of respect for our people, our country, and our system.

It is all a big joke to Gramps. Obama totally incompetent. So Gramps tries to shore him up and lies in the process. They blew 4 years and a lot of money. Romney and Ryan are dead set on rolling up their sleeves and making a top class effort. If initial policies not good enough you know they will work until it all works. Obama is not a hardworking man. Biden should have retired. Clinton should have declined to be Sec. of State. Many Democrats careers sullied by proximity to Obama. Too big a gamble to give Obama another minute or another dollar.

I hope the undecided saw how rude the Left can be.

Any undecided out there that are leaning more or less to one side or another?

If democrats like someone just because they are rude, I guess I am in the right party, and I don’t feel obligated to be non-partisan. Scary that this Biden is in line for the Presidency.

yes, he is rude–but after trying to give Obama a chance–he was so rude and condescending time after time–that I could not even listen to his disdain for his citizens…Biden only reflects that. It’s coming from the top down.

I couldn’t help thinking of Jack Nicholson’s portrayal of the Joker from the Batman movie when I saw Biden’s smirk. It was sickly similar!

Biden is the kind of guy that everyone dislikes but give him a break because they hope he will go away and quit bumming off of them. He is a represention of white affirmative action.

I think Joe is the kind of guy people like because they think he is harmless and a dope – but they have underestimated the Jerk in him.

I wished I have an interactive TV, so I could punch him in the face to erase his stupid and smile, and put a piece of tape in his big mouth every time he interrupted Ryan when he was using his own time.

Biden disgraced himself tonight by laughing, smirking and grinning like a monkey through Ryan’s remarks.
This is a hallmark of the liberals. Snide and disrespectful of others.

I am disgusted!! And why didn’t Radditz haul him up when he kept interrupting Ryan?

A smile is warmth, welcome, humor. A smirk is dismissive, demeaning, belittling and belies an attempt to deceive (showing an emotion opposite of your meaning or intent). Biden smirked all the way through, no wonder the concept of bi-partisanship eludes them.

Biden acted out like a child. The moderator was an emotional wreck.

Ryan was the adult in that debate – he remained steady even during the biden buffoonery.

Deep inside Joe B is very wrong…..When something is not right with people, that’s how they usually hide their feelings….they overly smile to hide the sadness inside them…He is pathetic, moron OLD MAN…Thank goodness they only have one debate, because I rather have getting my teeth pulled than watching Biden talk again…Plus the moderator is showing her bias!!!
