allah is not the same god as the Judeo-Christain G-D (the one true G-d). If one would just do a little study on exactly how this religion originally started…for ex: Before their monotheistic belief (many centuries after Christianity and several millennial after Judaism), that they had many gods, but mainly the crescent moon god. allah is NOT the same god as the L-rd G-d of Abraham Isaac and Jacob<therefore, a true Christian would not wear a ring,etc. such as this, because allah is not the same god as the Judeo-Christian G-D.

Why do the “intellecutals” keep saying that the phrase on the ring can be for any religion just because they say the 2nd part of the shahada isn’t there. How do we know it isn’t there. They haven’t examined the entire ring. It is a ring with Arabic writting. I seriously doubt the ring speaks of the Jewish/Christian God. I’d like to see a muslim wearing a cross stating that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That would never happen. So many “talking heads” are trying to explain away or find another reason. It is what it is. Hello…..the truth is supposed to live here.

We should only be concerned with the TRUTH. http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl-obama-wedding-ring.htm Look at the hi-res pic in the link and the supposed low-res fuzzy images of the ring with the script superimposed over the low-res. You cannot apply the script over the hi-res and achieve the same effect.

  They don’t want to know any truth that doesn’t make President Obama look bad. If you tell them that there is a picture that proves that there is no damn religious inscription of any kind on the ring, then they will not look at it, because as long as they don’t see it, they can pretend it’s fake and continue to comment on the religious inscription on the President’s ring.

It is absolute lunacy, but EVEN if Obama publicly admitted that he was wearing a Muslim ring, it would make no difference to the main stream media or to the 47%. Even more sadly… Obama could publicly admit that he is actually a Muslim and it would make no difference.

The truth is Obama’s ring has the Arabic ‘alef’ artistic symbol that devout Muslims wear to show their complete dedication to Allah and the Prophet Mohommad. It is not a separate symbol meaning ‘God’. If it was, it would be blaspheme. He is blatantly showing that he has sworn his life to Allaha.
