Liberal Group Mocks Paul Ryan for…Sipping Water (22 Times!) During Debate?

Conservatives had a field day mocking Vice President Joe Biden for his incessant smiling, laughing and interrupting during Thursday night’s debate. Biden’s demeanor, perceived as rude and domineering by some, spawned viral YouTube videos and political attack ads. In fact, the issue pretty much overshadowed every other aspect of the debate.

In response, the liberal group Americans United for Change brainstormed about how they could go about mocking Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan’s debate performance. Apparently, the best they could come up with is that Ryan was really thirsty on Thursday.

“In last night’s debate, Vice President Biden brought the facts… and Paul Ryan brought a #sippycup,” the text in the video reads as goofy-sounding music plays in the background.

The video goes on to count every time that Ryan takes a sip of water. Americans United for Change counted 22 times.

It is unclear how, or if, Ryan will recover from this revelation — that even Paul “p90x” Ryan gets thirsty.

On Friday, MSNBC guest Bill McGowan suggested that Ryan’s water sipping may be a “tell,” insinuating the Republican drank water every time he wasn’t being completely honest.

  When you consider that many, if not most, of our educational institutions are heavily populated with Democrat propagandists at the teacher’s podiums, and that most Democrats believe Biden gave an erudite performance, it’s no wonder so many students coming out of those educational institutions are having big problems performing credibly in America’s work force.

  Except for at drink # 14 and # 20 on this video, his cup is full again…… nobody refilled it. This is a loop, edited together to show the same 3-4 drinks as a whole 1 1/2 hour event. Reeeeeeeeaaaaallly stretching for some dirt, huh?

Biden was clearly bizarre, sometimes manic, and had an inappropriate affect during the debate. Further, he lied all the way through.
Ryan knew what he was talking about, understood the debate topics and spoke intelligently.
Of course the lefties are going to ridicule Ryan. That’s all they got and that’s what they use when they can’t defend their VP.
Instead of ridiculing Ryan, the lefties may want to get Biden some serious help with whatever disorder he has.

  I only watched the debate once, I know I noticed Ryan taking a handful of sips from his drink, but it didn’t seem anything strange. But I was also watching Cspan instead of the blaze because CSPAN was working. And CSPAN has the split screen at all times thing going on.

  Thanks Monk, sorry I missed that. And believe me, I started my account recently, but I’ve been reading The Blaze for a while seen what an “endearing” person Wango can be. While I am shocked, this shows the extent of the damage Obama’s allies can do to the Romney and Ryan campaign when it comes to credible facts (though it says a lot when they’re even lying about the number of times someone takes a drink. At this point, I’m sticking with The Blaze and Newsmax for my news, along with a few other sites).

There is a very simple explaination:

Ryan is used to playing the time honored drinking game of take a sip everytime Biden screws up…

Personally, I am surprised Ryan didn’t have an IV with a nine gauge needle and a funnel to keep up with the old drunk on a bar stool next to him pretending to be the vice president.

Biden actually gave bottles of liquor to people attending (its a fact, one of the few involving Biden that evening).
