‘Every President Inherits Challenges, Few Have Faced So Many’: Morgan Freeman Narrates Latest Obama Ad
Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman, who has previously spoken out about the “trouble” of not re-electing President Barack Obama and recently donated $1 million to a pro-Obama super PAC has officially gone all in, providing the narration for the campaign’s latest ad.
The 32-second spot, titled “Challenges,” was released Saturday and has Freeman’s distinctive voice striking a hopeful, positive tone 24 days out from the election.
“Every president inherits challenges,” Freeman says. “Few have faced so many. Four years later, our enemies have been brought to justice. Our heroes are coming home. Assembly lines are humming again. There are still challenges to meet. Children to educate. A middle class to rebuild. But the last thing we should do is turn back now.”
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on October 13, 2012 at 1:22pmPresident Obama Inherited an Economy Coming Out of a Recession – Yes, You Read That Right.
By Scott Morales on Oct 13, 2012 10:57 am
For years now, and especially recently, we’ve been awash in rhetoric that claims that President Obama inherited a recession and that without spending $831,000,000,000 in stimulus money we don’t have the United States would enter into a depression. The president’s door-to-door acolytes continue to hose the unlucky that answers the knock with claims that the …

Posted on October 13, 2012 at 1:31pmThe recession started in 2007. The worst of it, as illustrated above by the The Bureau of Economic Analysis of the U.S. Department of Commerce, occurred in the 4th quarter of 2008 before President Obama was sworn into office. The BEA shows the largest of GDP contraction occurred in the 4th quarter of 2008, contracting GDP by -8.9 percent. The following quarter the contractions were less severe -6.7 percent. It also states that, “For the period of expansion from 2009:Q2 to 2011:Q1, real GDP increased at an average annual rate of 2.6 percent;†Once the GDP expansion begins, the recession is over. The recession officially concluded in June 2009.
“The stimulus helped,†spits the acolyte. Really? Let’s wipe this spittle away. A few days after the recession officially ended on “July 3, $60.4 billion in stimulus money had been spent… If you divide this by the full stimulus amount of $787 billion, you get 7.7 percentâ€. That’s 7.7% using the original stimulus number, not the revised number I used above. Using the revised number, the percentage would be much lower. These people expect me to simply gulp down the absurdity they’re serving. If I were to do so, I would need believe that if 7.7% of the hundreds of billions of dollars spent on the stimulus got us out of the recession, imagine what spending the full 100% the stimulus would do. My goodness we’d be swimming in near full employment, the economy would be slathered with activity, and President Obama

Posted on October 13, 2012 at 1:32pmThe president’s door-to-door acolytes continue to hose the unlucky that answers the knock with claims that the president couldn’t do in 4 years what it took FDR 12 to accomplish. The premise of this hogwash implies that the two conditions are comparable. They’re not. FDR was dealing with an actual depression (and protracting it, in my view, see Robert Higgs’ “Depression, War, and Cold War†for more information) and this president was not.
Well the acolytes can keep blasting the firehouse of mistaken rhetoric, but anyone that decides to shelter themselves from this falsehood can do so. President Obama inherited an economy coming out of a recession.
“A recession is a period of two quarters of negative GDP growth.†And, “According to the U.S. National Bureau of Economic Research (the official arbiter of U.S. recessions) the recession began in December 2007 and ended in June 2009.“

Barry and been lifted out of the real world by Marxist mentors, shady educational funding, affirmative action, Hollywood, and statist media people. In real life people get a few weeks to a few months of on-the-job training. If you cannot get the job done, if you fail, you’re asked to leave and told, ” We’re looking for a better fit.” And you’re FINISHED.
Barry has had four miserable years to learn how to be President and work hard. Everyone else is doing their own thing and no one claims to know what the other agency is doing. That’s what happens. Too many Chiefs are created because the Prez doesn’t want to work hard. Everyone else seems to be doing the President’s job, except himself. I guess that’s just the “collective” in action. Time to pink slip Barack Hussein Obama. I’m sure he’ll be ok since he’s so good at budgeting, time management, prioritzation, and customer service. I’m sure he’ll be just fine living off his savings and 99 weeks of unemployment, plus a (sober)Secret Service detail.

Morgan has accidently stumbled onto the truth in his “few have faced so many challenges’ statement. Morgan doesn’t list Barry’s most damning challenges, which includes his vice president (Joey), himself, his stupidity, and his big mouth, his lying, and so many other personal hang ups they would overtake this entire thread to list. Barry should be known as the ‘exploding cigar president’. If he wins it’ll be in spite of himself. I don’t think there are enough voting dead to help Barry to be reelected. It would be great if someone famous would do a Freeman follow up of reasons why Barry is his own worst enemy.

Posted on October 13, 2012 at 8:48pmLet’s edit Morgan’s spiel correctly, line by line:
Every president inherits challenges
& unlike Oblameo, solves them or at least, stops the bleeding.
Few have failed so many, as the lackadaisical, self-serving “Gutless Wonder”.
Four years later, our enemies have been bowed & apologized to.
Our heroes are coming home in coffins or pieces-
mentally & physically
without proper support or a promising future.
The rules of engagement serve the enemy, not our soldiers.
Assembly lines are humming again-
but the only one buying GM Chevy Volts, is the government-
for our embassies.
The government takes our billions to keep the Unions afloat,
then kindly, spends more of our money to buy the junk product.
Hum along, everyone…UP your WaZoo with Obama’s Commie KaZoo !
There are still challenges to meet-
hoodwink deals,
“Boomerang” funds like Solyndra
where OUR misspent money sails back into corrupt crony pockets.
Children to educate while teacher Unions exacerbate & manipulate.
A middle class to rebuild-
BTW, somebody tell these effers’,,,the Tea Party IS the middle class.
Then, Morgan ends by saying,
“But the last thing we should do is TURN BACK now.”
NO, America-
the FIRST thing we NEED to do is elect Romney & Ryan,
then, TURN BACK to the principles of our founding,
shout them loud & clear,
so EVERYONE on the planet hears
& knows NOT to mess with the Constitutional rights, safety & security
of the American citizen.

If you want to see a president come into office with a bag of worms – think Ronald Reagan. He had the hostage problem in Iran – Carter thought after talking for 462 days they would get tired and release them. Interest rates on a new car was 21% and 17% for a new home.so half of Detroit was laid off as was home builders. Over 20% of the country was laid off. If Reagan hadn’t started the turn around in 4 years he would not have been reelected and got our people out of Iran..

What, “STOP SPENDING” is too many challenges?
“Four years later, our enemies have been brought to justice.”
Oh yeah, you promised to empty GITMO. Remember?
“Our heroes are coming home.”
In body bags because you STILL keep them in foreign countries as “meals on wheels”.
“Assembly lines are humming again.”
That humming is the sound of crickets in factories and coal plants all across America.
“There are still challenges to meet.”
America ain’t dead yet but, at 21 TRILLION dollars in DEBT and climbing, almost!
“Children to educate.”
[sing it, chil'en] – Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm. Barack Hussein Obama. He said red, yellow, black or white. All are equal in his sight. Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm.
“A middle class to rebuild.”
After he destroyed it.

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies.
Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, “the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. You must be three years old, because you don’t remember what was going on four years ago.
Educate yourself:

Yeah, we were doing fine. Do the manly thing and at least try to be honest, with yourself if not the world.

Posted on October 13, 2012 at 8:01pmIf Barry cared even slightly about his own legacy, he’d QUIT. Some of that affirmative action Haaarvaaaard intellect must have rubbed off on him by osmosis somewhere. Just resign in shame Barry! C’mon, it’s all over his face. He can’t handle the job, he’s ok with being a one termer, and he wants to choom freely in his own Chicago palace. Like I said, if he had any Harvard pride, he’d quit now instead of being publically fired in November. I’ll take either one.

Posted on October 13, 2012 at 12:46pmEvery challenge Obama has faced is of his own making by trying to usurp power in this country that has been good to him. Every problem he has is because he is trying to tear down the Constitution and replace it with a Marxist agenda. He needs to be in prison for what he is doing to this country.

Posted on October 13, 2012 at 1:58pmIn the Code next to Sedition there is a term “Misprison of Treason”. It is a wrongful action or commission of a public official. Neglect to give notice of an act of treason or felony. It means that those who know what he is doing can’t let this happen and not do something about it without being culpable themselves. I wish someone would get on this one, because just think, how many would be charged with Treason just for knowing that he is Treasonous and not doing anything to stop him.

About those computer problems….
You are aware that The Blaze “does” go down? Happens to me about once every 3 weeks.
No Blaze and no GBTV. The longest so far that I have seen was about 30 minutes.
I thinks it’s people who hate Glenn do a DoDS attack.

Not DoDS attack…. it’s DDoS attack. Dedicated Denial of Service.
Which means that 1000′s of computers start pinging the IP address and it gets overwhelmed.

The other thing you said, i believe it. When the Guru Meditation thing 1st happened to me a couple of months ago, i followed a trail online that eventually brought me to some chatroom where a bunch of hackers were patting each other on the back for various attacks on the Blaze (including the Guru thing).
I posted the link on the Blaze “tips” page along with my other evidence & the problems i was having went away for a while.
