Krauthammer Zings Biden’s Smirks: His Debate Prep Was Watching ‘The Shining’ on Repeat

Charles Krauthammer Zings Bidens Smirks: His Debate Prep Was Watching The Shining on Repeat

AP

Conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer zinged Vice President Joe Biden’s repeated smiling during Thursday’s debate, saying his preparation must have been watching the film “The Shining” on repeat.

“One would think that Biden’s debate preparation was watching repeatedly ‘The Shining,’ and I think he did an excellent imitation of Jack Nicholson,” Krauthammer said on Fox News Friday.

Critics have blasted the vice president for smiling, interrupting and laughing during his face-off against Paul Ryan. The Republican National Committee quickly put out an ad about it titled, “Laughing at the Issues.”

Watch Krauthammer below, via NewsBusters:

For reference, here’s the Daily Beast’s recap of “The Night of 53 Smiles for Joe Biden”:

There are some programs that I only watch just to see what Krauthammer has to say. Yesterday on Bret Baier’s ‘Special Report’, when I heard Krauthammer say this, made it worthwhile. Very smart and funny guy, although, rarely, I do disagree with him. I think that him being a board certified psychiatrist helps in his analysis.

Lol. Krauthammer just doesn’t like Biden because Biden is like “This is me folks, like it or not”, and Krauthammer is all cool calm and collected (even like Ryan), because they like appearing even keeled. They know that Americans are sensitive to people having personalities kind of the way a pet dog gets a little out of whack if you move his bowl to a different location.

Like a dog likes consistency so do Americans, and Americans get a little tense if someone gets passionate about a subject, or slightly raises their voice. So therefore Krauthammer comes across even, steady in his approach as does Paul Ryan. But they are phonies nonetheless, because Ryan would like to break out of the little control box which is displayed in his arrogant head bobs, and steadfast smirk towards Biden.

But see like a dog gets diarrhea when it loses consistency, or seems confused over a replacement of his food tray, Americans alarms go off when someone gets loud, or shows much passion for a subject matter. In my estimations – that’s why in-part many foreign people refer to Americans as being dogs.

Very good PUDSSWEETIE: We’re not dogs, we’re people who should learn before we’re 70 years old to treat others with some respect regardless of whether we like change or not.

I’ve had dogs all my life and they do what I want them to do, not what they want. Remember Pavlov?
Biden is an unhinged doofus who doesn’t belong in a responsible position. He’s only there because obama needed a dumbie to take the heat off him.

      oneshiner,
No you do actually behave like dogs which is why you get on edge about having inconsistency around you. That’s also why the Bible says “Everything will be your terror”, because you come to be like dogs fearing all changes. Then people approach you like you are dogs. Now Joe Biden has a very erratic behavior and Joe Biden says “This is me.” Moreover, the people who treat you with a soft glove, a steadfast calm even-keeled approach as Paul Ryan, and Charles Krauthammer do – they are the ones who treat you like you really are dogs.

Someone wrote from the UK that Joe was showing off his $20,000.00 worth of denture work. I’d say that would be correct, so long as Joe had had the dentures installed in his a.h.. I think Joe was doing his impersonation of Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber, the talking a$$ routine, with Joe thinking he would be the life of the party. I’d say it kinda worked. Of course Ryan had to put up with old Joe’s bad breath, that only a suppository with industrial strength Retsin would have mildly covered over.

That is one of the indices we use to determine if someone is mentally ill and hearing voices and/or having hallucinations. Is he on any medications or, should he be? I think it was just the ‘drunken uncle’s’ way to show disdain for the other side. He was presured to be aggressive in the debate and in his efforts to diminish the other side, he only diminshed himself. He is immature acting in his personality from the start anyway. He thought by laughing, smirking and interrupting that he would dominate the debate that way. And he failed misserably by just looking like a nut.

First off I would like to say that I don’t find anything funny about the future of this great country and the current path this administration is heading towards. All the American families who are counting on a plan to lift us out of this situation of the last 4 years would like to hear our responses and ideas to take our country to greatness once again. Mr Biden here at almost 70 yrs of age and heartbeat away from the most powerful position on the planet is laughing and giggling like this is some sort of joke. Who are the thoughtful commentators on the Left? Krugman seems to be as close as it gets, and he is simply a washed-up, dis-proven economist.
The Left commentators are generally shrill, feces- slingers (Maher, Olbermann, Mathews, etc), or the intellectually marginallized, chin-strokers like Charlie Rose or Bill Moyers.

I was a Krauthammer fan long before it became fashionable to be–I’ve been reading his newspaper column for YEARS. He is a very smart man and sees things for what they are, which is more than we can say for our delusional LIAR-IN-CHIEF.

I predict that ODUMBER will be better prepared for the next debate–well coached, that is–but without his teleprompter, he will NOT speak intelligently about the economy or creating jobs–because he is CLUELESS on these subjects, and no amount of preparation is going to fix that in time for the next debate.

I heard one commentator dismiss the excuse that ODUMBER was ill-prepared for the debates. His take: “What do you mean he wasn’t prepared? He’s the PRESIDENT, for God’s sake–he ought to know this stuff!”

See, NO man can possibly be an expert in every area that a President needs expertise for. That is why smart presidents surround themselves with people who ARE experts in those areas, and acrtually ATTEND intelligence briefings and listen to their advisors. But ODUMBER is WAY too arrogant and egotistical to do that, No WONDER the liberals are peeing their panties over that debate–ODUMBER inadvertently revealed the truth in that debate–which is that he is not COMPETENT to be President.

Anything that happens in Washington, or doesn’t happen is the responsibility of the President. He can keep trying to pass that buck to someone else, but that’s too bad, the buck be Obama’s ……………………..

Obama’s debate performance was because of altitude.
Biden’s debate performance was because of a bad batch of Ritalin.

Biden was terrible. He showed complete disrespect for his office, himself, Paul Ryan, and the American people. So scary that this fool is a heartbeat away from president.

They need to rename him “joker” Biden, because that’s who he was acting like. The Joker from the Batman movies.
