News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch went on a bit of a Twitter tear Saturday morning, predicting a “nightmare for Israel if Obama wins” re-election and accusing the White House of “still lying about Benghazi.”

The media mogul — whose company owns Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post and others — said Vice President Joe Biden “threw [the] CIA under the bus” and “now [White House] throws State [Department]!” He also came down on Mitt Romney, saying the Republican presidential nominee needs to ignore personal attacks at the next debate and focus on his jobs plan:

Murdoch has been fairly free with his Twitter advice for Romney in the past: Last month he said he needed to “stop fearing [the] far right” and take more of a big tent approach to win the election. During the summer, he wondered, “when is Romney going to look like a challenger?” He subsequently defended himself from an apparent barrage of negative tweets from Romney supporters, saying, “of course I want him to win, save us from socialism, etc.”

As Mediaite noted, when a Murdoch-type figure in the media espouses such clear-cut political beliefs so publicly, “the question arises as to whether these opinions will eventually trickle down through their outlets.”

      Yes I am a docent again, this is our 30 year Wall event, and we all made the trip earlier this year for the 50th anniversary of the first fighting. I hope to see my friends Jan Scruggs and Sens Hagel and Webb and Sec Powell there with Tom Selleck (LOL) and my group is also supporting the Education Center Groundbreaking on November 28th. My group was principally involved in raising funds for the Women’s service memorial but in recent years we are focused on returning warriors from Iraq and Iran. And Rolling Thunder, of course, LOL. I’ll be wearing my colors.

      Four trips to DC in one year! It is inspiring for the children and some of their friends, and we will NEVER forget. So it’s worth every sacrifice.

      Bobad…I’m against civil disobedience because it sounds like an “organized mob”…and that is always trouble. However I, like many other Americans, are quietly preparing for very bad times. I have no problem sharing my supplies with others. I will fiercely defend my supplies from “raiders”. But I doubt it will come to civil disobedience unless Obama is re-elected…then we will see riots over the basic necessities of life. I am confident of a Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan win.       The gamble taken by the ‘progressivist’ ideological elites is in that (in addition to their perceived ‘base’) the apathy of the masses will continue to suppress the exercise of their only oppositional power, while diminishing that power by incentivising (bribing) those potential constituencies motivated by greed and avarice and those that are increasingly directed and absorbed into the institutionalized dependency of ‘govermental welfare’ programs.

      The assumption that civil disobedience practiced even by (optimistically) 10% of the dissenting population (a population based upon those un-apethetic enough to vote against Obama in the last election) would total only 2.8 million disobedient individuals in a total population of 235 million, as opposed to over 2 million direct enforcement agents available (not including U.S. military personnel). a ridiciously insignificant speedbump on the road to the disaster which an Obama electorial victory will bring us.

      The ONLY non-violent opposition to a renewed Obama administration is to VOTE HIM OUT OF OFFICE. ANY other alternative will result in not only the destruction of our economy, but in bloodshed, anarchy and the destruction of our freedoms.

      - Does Obama have military experience? No but he has opinions on the military & speaks about them.
      - Did Hillary serve? No but she voice her opinions on Iraq as a Senator
      - Vice President Joe BiteMe recieved 5 draft deferments.
      - His son, Beau, went the support the warfighter route by being a military lawyer. Yes he served but it was at a large base camp. His largest risk was flying in, occasional mortar or rocket attack & flying out. A soldier has about the same risk of dying from ‘work place violence’ at Fort Hood or some other base as what Beau had.

      Obama set a policy of denying extra protection to our Diplomats in Libya to present it as returning to normalcy with nominal violence. The NORMALCY NARRATIVE preposterously uttered by the Obama regime is at odds with the spread of Al Qaeda in Northern Africa. But Obama is counting on the fact that he can lie to enough Americans in the short term to win re-election. Ambassador Chris Steven was just a bump in the road to him. Meanwhile Obama spent money on green autos for the Vienna embassy, while denying protection to the Libyan Amabassador.

      Obama, the Pied Piper, is betting on & is saying that we have until spring 2013 to resolve the Irna Crisis. Then we learn they will have weapons grade plutonium next month, November 2013.

Maybe not all of them, but i’ll take your word for that! After reading a couple of you posts, it is a little hazy as to what you put forth as “fact” and what can be viewed as opinion. Facts, as you see them, may be thought of by many as opinion, and as a result of your obvious bias, not necessarily truthfull!       there is a program that flags certain phrases as dangerous or inflamatory. This program is mutable, for instance, a while back the word ‘homosexual’ would get flagged, but now, it does not. Until and unless the program finds a flag, the posts aren’t read. Try saying things without appearing so p*ssed off and hostile.

    Rupert Murdoch hit the nail on the head. Israel will be doomed if obama is re-elected, and so is the Unied States of America. What you will see is a nucular attack on Isarel with on 4-6 months of obamas re-election, and his responce will be “we are looking into this and condemend the action of a retalation from Israel with out proof that this was caused by iran”. Now if you thank this will not effect us, you are wrong. Next,soon after, there will be an attack from north korea on eather South Korea, Japan, or worse, on the U.S.
    So thinking that, you will find that obama has got exatly what he wants, this will be a economic down spin of the Unied States of America were there will be no way out. This will happen, and this will be the begining of the 3 world war, in whitch will make all other wars look the a pillow fight.

    Yes, we do need to look at the care and intrest of the U.S. before all other nations, but we also need to let Isreal and all our other allies we will stand behind them, as long as they share the same beliafs of fredoom we share.

    Just remeber this is what obama desires. The complete islamic rule of the middle east by any means possiable, includeing a complete and total removal of Isareal. We can not that this man be re-elected, he will put us into a war like that has never been seen before.

    So vote, inform, and insure Romney is elected. Can’t say it will be better, but if not, obama will make sure it will be much, much, much worse.

      And take it from someone working in the financial markets, our economy will tank too! Business is terrified of what a lame duck Obama will do! He has no regard for the Constitution, individual liberty, or government limits. He will destroy small business for a generation, just as his hero FDR did! Higher taxes will drive us into recession in early 2013 (if we’re not there already with paltry GDP growth of just 1.25%). In the Reagan recovery, we had GDP growth of 7%, 8%, and even 9% by now! And Obamacare will sink the economy into a morass of malaise!

      Obama will become a dictator — the Dictator of Debt! The worst will come when the debt black whole swallows us alive, causing what will become known as the Obama Depression or even The GREATER Depression when the US government can no longer borrow and the budget must be cut 40% OVERNIGHT! Calamity this way comes!
      Our only chance is that Romney is not only be elected, but that he do the same things Calvin Coolidge did to make the earlier 20th Century depression a short one — one with a small “d”.
      And if you want to contemplate a real Obama nightmare, imagine a tanking economy combined with a EMP attack on the US from a new nuclear Iran, and a cessation of crude oil imports that brings on a famine when farmers can’t get fuel to grow food!

      1. Obama doesn’t want to drill for oil
      2. He doesn’t buy from Canada
      3. He helps the Muslim brotherhood
      4. His oil drilling Muslim friends would love a higher oil price
      5. Pressure on Israel would create tension in the area, especially if the WH would give the Fatah a green light for terror attacks. This is an old and working recipe to hike the gas prices

The events we are witnessing today by those entrusted and empowered by the people used to be considered treason.       I think the Jews that support Obama don’t – for whatever reason – like Israel. I have American Jewish friends that are here and have families in Israel right now and THEY do NOT support Obama and they are furious that some Jews support Obama.

    Israel? Gow about this country. 4 years more and he will essentially become the dictator we fought against in WW2. He doesn’t care about THIS country. Why should he care about Israel.

      He can only become a dic-tator if we allow him to be. If you just sit in your house and watch then yes it will happen. But if we get off our a$$es and use the 2nd Amendment it will not happen. What are you prepared to do? Live as a commie or take your freedom back?
