The Romney campaign has denounced what Buzzfeed aptly described as a “mindblowingly offensive” shirt that says, “Put the White Back in the White House” beneath a Romney-Ryan logo.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, a Romney spokesperson said the garment is “reprehensible and has no place in this election.”
The picture was taken by a Getty photographer at a Romney campaign event in Lancaster, Ohio on Friday, but is presented with little other accompanying information.
Still, readers can draw some conclusions of their own. First, the shirt is obviously not an official piece of campaign gear, but in this day and age it isn’t difficult to order shirts online with whatever writing you want. More than that, it looks like the Romney-Ryan logo might even be a sticker because of the awkward spacing.
With allegations of racism being thrown around left and right (remember when mentioning Obama’s golfing habits was deemed racist, or when peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were said to have racial overtones?), it’s sometimes easy to forget that there appear to be actual racists on both sides of the aisle.
Regardless, many appear to be using the shirt as “proof” that Republicans, particularly conservatives, are actually all racist.
“Must be a member of the slowly dying Tea Party,” one commenter wrote.

Does he have an Obama yard sign on the lawn? That is the news story. I’d enjoy seeing another imposter exposed along with the others in an ad or just in the news. Sometimes, that is the successful tool in waking people up about who they are supporting.
This reminds me of the union bus transport to the home of AIG executives as they posed as grassroots and the registered Democrat acting like a Republican woman for Obama in an ad and the imposter posing as a former Bain worker at the DNC convention.
If Obama can’t rely on political theater, he’ll have to rely on his record and debate performance and we all know that option is useless.

There was nothing in the Bell Curve that was wrong, except they miscalculated the average black iq, it is really closer to 79 not 85. Until the world is willing to admit the problem, and start working on ways to actually solve the problem, rather than penalizing others for being smarter, it’s only going to get worse and worse. One of the few things Darwin really nailed as blacks infested one of the most fertile regions on the planet and never learned to plant crops, never learned to tan leather, never learned to raise livestock, never learned a written language, until the white man came and showed them not came in and held them back.

The msm made this election about voting for a certain race. Even George Will said “Maybe because he is the first African American President” Americans will give him another chance”. (are you kidding me) All this guy is saying is..I’m voting for the White Guy..big deal. But, anyway , we DO need a white man in the oval office. At least he will not declare open season on blacks like Obama did on snowmen. Oct. 14, 2012 at 10:09amOBAMAFORWARD_OVERTHECLIFF, Thanks for re-posting that again. I had been keeping an eye on The Blaze mostly during commercials which is when I got on to this story. When the Alabama – Missouri game went into a delay for lightning that gave me a minimum of 40 minutes to do some research. That being the one and only photo on the net of that guy, his shirt, surroundings, and the fact that none of his facial features are visible. During my research I found a number of other photos taken at the event. I scanned over those hoping to find a facial shot of this guy, but I didn’t find any bald guys. My thought now is that he, his photographer, and maybe even more got themselves into position, he slipped off his outer garment, pic was snapped, shirt was again covered with outer wear, and they quietly slipped out. Hopefully with damage done. At least that is a possibility that has occurred to me.

Same goes for the horse manure dumped outside the Dem HQ in Ohio. Or how they deliberately sabotaged their own offices to try and make it look like the Republicans were resorting to illegal actions? Oct. 13, 2012 at 7:36pmHi Walkabout,
Nice observations. Thank you. You probably don’t know this but, here it is for your consideration.
A real Monk, like myself, always goes to the root cause of any problem when seriously discussing it. All the levels in between really have no meaning. Here on The Blaze I can’t really do that. I’m stuck in the “deal with the meritocracy and never get to the true cause” world. I prefer the one-on-one, face-to-face encounter where both parties are serious about discovery. Can’t do that here either. So I practice my social graces in the world of meritocracy that is the Internet and The Blaze. I have met some really nice people on The Blaze and I am grateful for that. You sound like someone I could sit down and have a nice dialog with. Dialog is the world of The Monk. Can’t do that here either.
So I muddle my way through these posts, replying as best I can, without ever hoping to change the mind of a single person (or vice-versa) or to explore the Human Mind or the real reason people in this World do the things they do.
Like RJJ said…. there is only one picture of this guy on the WWW that we can find. This is a plant. Take off the jacket, snap the photo, put the jacket back on, leave, no questions asked, no facial image, just a lot of speculation and heretic. Plus the damage trying to be caused to Romney. People there at that event will be searching there camera phones and his face might be made public.
Thanks for your reply and your posts.

Oct. 13, 2012 at 7:46pmGood point, Monk. I remember talking with a black woman at work, and I overheard her state, “I guess the White House ain’t so ‘white’ no more.” When I asked her if she would vote for Ovomit if he had blonde hair, blue eyes and his name was John Smith, she then proceeded to TRY to make a joke of it, and responded, “I love all white people”….but still wouldn’t answer the question.
As to the guy in the shirt, well, it looks like one of those iron-on decals to be honest…if he’s not a plant, well, there’s an assh*ole in every crowd….people need to get beyond the BS. America voted a black guy into the White House, now for God’s Sake SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!

Oct. 13, 2012 at 5:53pmHi MONK, during the game lightning delay I did some searches on this, taking a look in both the Web and Images section. Just as I read your post here it dawned on me. This is the one and only photo of this guy. Nothing else has been posted anywhere. That in itself is an oddity in this day and age of cell phone cameras along with the abundance of credit card sized digital cameras. It is as if he removed his over shirt or jacket just long enough for the one photo to be taken. Now, what does that tell you?

Oct. 13, 2012 at 4:39pmMy first reaction is dismay and disgust that an Obama supporter would go so far as to wear something so reprehensible at a Romney event. Governor Romney would never welcome hate speech; he is a moral Christian man. If he wasn’t, the AxlerodCutter Machine would have broadcast whatever Mitt had done, wouldn’t he? Ergo, they make it up.
Absolutely disgusting; no one who truly wanted Mitt elected would wear hate speech.

Oct. 13, 2012 at 6:48pmI would be shocked if the man in that photo is a Republican. He looks like a union thug who conspired with the photographer to give them that photo opportunity. Until we have evidence that guy is a Republican, we should assume it’s a Democrat trying to paint Republicans as racist, since that’s far more common than actual racism on the right.
The Democrat party is the party of race division and hate.

My acquaintances see that his policies are destroying us. He is doing so many things that are preventing jobs from being created. He is spending TOOOOO much money!!!, and for What? the money is being wasted, it is NOT helping us. He has weakened our country and has caused the rest of the world to lose respect for us. They are emboldened to attack us. Out Ambassador and others were murdered by an organized terrorist attack. This was an act of war, and what did our President do? he went to the UN and apologized for some insignificant stupid (although legal) film (which I do not endorse) and blamed an American for this attack! We are becoming a weak country, and EVERTONE knows it, especially our enemies, and they are laughing at us.

Oct. 13, 2012 at 5:14pmActually, any Dem gets more than 80% of the Black vote even if they are white. The liberals have re-written history and many Americans don’t know the KKK membership was Democrats and the guy blocking blacks from integrating schools in the south was a Democrat and the opposition to civil rights laws were Democrats. I’m tired of conservatives being cast as racist when we don’t want anyone denied liberty.

Absolutely, when I heard this occurred in Obama’s Denver campaign office and no one was injured, the BS alert went off. In addition, the FBI has given the evidence and handed the investigation over to the DPD…this whole incident ‘stinks on ice’. I fully expect these bizarre incidents to increase rapidly the closer we get to Nov 6th. Personally, I’m voting early primarily out of concern for voter safety.

Sorry there sport, but the Tea Party is ALIVE AND WELL throughout the USA. What other organization is able to vet these candidates and choose the truly conservatives ones? They just don’t like to stand out like you socialists do.
My Husband and I were at the Romney Campaign in Cuyahoga Falls, Oh on Tuesday. There were over 12,000 people there. Even tho we got there REALLY REALLY EARLY, the lines wound and wound around until by the time we got close to the fence by the Natatorium, THERE WAS STANDING ROOM ONLY. So, we left because our view was blocked and you couldn’t hear over the noise. We had tickets, too that we printed off the Internet. We were very disappointed that we didn’t get to hear Christie and then Romney speak, but we were elated that so many supporters came out. THERE WAS NOT 1 NEGATIVE INCIDENT except for the girls in one of the homes nearby who put up all kinds of pro-Obama signs on their house like, “MITT IS NOT IT”, etc. No one got upset or anything. It was a great group to be in! We all laughed and clowned around as we inched our way up to the security gate, but we never made it thru – no more room.
SO, I SAID ALL THAT TO SAY, THE TEA PARTY IS ALIVE, WELL, AND WORKING VERY HARD TO SEE THAT OBAMA IS FIRED IN NOVEMBER!
