Coal Miners Release Scathing Ad Accusing Obama of ‘Lies’ When Referencing Them

A group of coal miners that has become the focus of an anti-Romney attack by the Obama camp has struck back in a new ad accusing the president of “lies.”

The ad is in response to an oft-repeated characterization (and Obama ad) that workers from the Century Mine were forced to attend a Romney rally. That was debunked in September and the Obama ad was supposed to have been altered to pull the footage alleging such a thing. The miners, however, are still upset enough about it to have released an ad of there own, which was partnered with a letter to the president:

Dear President Obama:

We are writing as the employees of American Energy Century Mine in Beallsville, Ohio. You have approved in a running television campaign ads about the Mitt Romney event that was held at our Century coal mine. These ads state that we were forced to attend this rally and that is blatantly false. There are numerous false statements and absolute lies concerning our participation in this event, we, the employees, mostly started by a local shock jock host. Since your approval is attached to these ads, you may not wish to support these mistruths. Why would you lie about the 500 working miners who have signed this letter? We, the employees of Century Mine, would request you immediately stop these false ads. Thank you. Century Mine employees.

  I read an article about a mining company that had everything ready to start mining gold in New Mexico but the LM came and changed the rules again. If it wasn’t this the EPA would have tepped in and came up with a new rule. Here in Oklahoma Obama has ground down drilling to almost nothing. Everyday more workers are laid off. If a worker spills a gallon of oil as they unhook the transfer hoses to a tanker you must shut down and report it as a spill and hav the EPA come in and clean it up. If you don’t and they find out it is $35,000 a day fine.

  That’s the truth because if by some miracle Barry wins we are finished,he’ll complete his fundamental transformation of America from a constitutional republic to a communist state. He’s trying to lower our standard of living to that of a third world country because he wants to end the middle class.

  What is utterly amazing about the entire fiasco of this election is those who support Obama will be the biggest crybabies when their energy prices continue to “necessary skyrocket”, their food prices continue to rise, and their property taxes go up and up and up. One must wonder how Obama could possibly win in coal states in the first place? He has said on record that he will destroy the coal industry in favor on green energy & his actions thus far is doing just that! Is their a disconnect that the people have when it comes to their unions position that supports Obama? Will they walk the plank for the union loyalty they have? It really does not make much since but then I am not a union guy committed to union positions despite the consequences.   It does not matter, if they are unionized, their Union Bosses could care the less about the workers. This is about the Union Bosses keeping the Democrats and their gravy train untouched. If any of these workers in the ad are part of a union, they will be getting visits sometime in the late evening.

There are 500 coal fired coal fired electrical generating plants in the united states. They generate almost 50% of America’s electrical energy. Obama has shut down 100 thus far. The administration has plans to close 200 more in the next 2 years.

  Duke Energy and Progress Energy merged recently in North Carolina making the total number of electricity providers at ONE! So now coal fired power plants have started to close down in NC, 3 so far. What will replace them? Windmills? Solar? Whatever it will be will be extremely costly. If you pay for electricity in North Carolina WATCH OUT. Your bill is necessarily going to sky rocket to quote Obama!!! He does not care and has said so.

So many coal miners are unemployed because of the Obama administration.. it is so imperative that we fire Obama on Nov. 6th so that Mitt Romney can get these men back to work.. coal miners are unsung heroes who have kept the lights on for decades.. there work is dangerous and yet they do it willingly! I stand behind these men and their families! God Bless them all!

What would shock me is a factual add from the obumah gang and it’s supporters. Damned near everything they put out is “spin” at best, and usually just blatant lies. He lies just about every time he he opens his mouth, they spin the economic numbers, and they lie about Mitt Romney in every ad they put out.

I really don’t get why any American still supports this crowd of weasels, other than those that love the governmental freebies. Problem is the freebies aren’t free to those who pay taxes.

Personally, I’ve never liked lying Marxists, and I don’t care that he’s black & white. The problem is that he’s red all over, and hates America’s success.

WAKE UP AMERICA. If capitalism has never worked, like he continues to say, how the heck did we rise to the position in the world that we have? Better question, what has ever worked better? It would work better if we quit hampering it with all the socialist crap that continues to suck the life out of the economy; thereby reducing the chances of more success stories.

To those who continue to look to hollywood and the lame-street media for opinions, look to their favorite States, New York and California, and throw in Illinois the home of the obuma gang; Is any of their economies the one you want for the U.S.A.? I.e., big intrusive government, with inherently high taxes,

Interesting listing the 3 states, NY,Calif and Illinois and interesting that “no-ID-required” to vote in these states. “no-ID-required” to vote in the following states: D.C., Iowa, Maine, Md., Mass., Minn., Neb., Nev., N.M., N.C.,Oregon, Vt., W.Va., (and this surprises me), Wyoming. Pending DOJ approval of “this-list”…..”Is there ANY WONDER” could be “voter-fraud” in this election?

  I am a Union worker of 16yrs and today is my last day as one. I for one have never been represented in a manner of my liking. I also get to keep the 40 dollars that earn fair and square. I’m treated with dignity regardless whether in the Union or not.

What men, what patriots! I was teary eyed watching the video. I am so humbled watching these men. These guys mean business and I am proud of them for standing up for the truth. The govt does a disservice by creating an artificial economy by forcing, for example, coal plants to go down for the sake of another form of energy. I’m all for alternative energies, but not by force. It does more harm to the economy than good for the govt to choose one industry over another just because they think one is better. It does more harm to our moral culture, too.

I’m getting up there in age and I’ve seen plenty of presidential campaigns.. in my lifetime I’ve never seen anything like this.. employee’s of a company coming together to make a statement to the media because they felt they had to. These are “real” men, real hard working family men that were “forced” to stand up themselves and their work because our country has a liar in the oval office.

Joe Wilson had it right from the get go… “YOU LIE.”

Thank goodness there’s a shortened edited version of the Miners’ statements. The long version was painful to listen to just from the delivery standpoint alone. I appreciate their willingness to call out the lies, but perhaps they should have hired an attorney to speak for them. People will have a hard time listening to a message if the delivery is halting with gaps and pauses. The points are lost in the gaps and people will turn the channel to avoid the painful delivery. I realize that’s a nit-pick on the good-guys, but sometimes I think we shoot ourselves in the foot with the delivery of our free-market/pursuit-of- happiness-message and should be aware of this.

  I could go on and on with other articles. I emailed Scott Baker and pleaded with him to proof-read the news before publishing. His response shocked me.   Even the spell-checker is not going to catch a misspelled word if it is another word. Maine/main, Cropper/copper. Someone has to actually read back over the article to make sure it is correct and that is an Editor’s job. I have been a good speller all my life, because I can see the words in my mind. I cringe, every time I see someone garble the English language by misspelling. Though, I think it’s a bit petty to be a spelling Sheriff and point out every little mistake. I can overlook the spelling, if I know what they are saying. For every complaint about the mistakes in the story, there are five people misspelling words in their posts.
  Let it be. I find that people are wise, even if they misspell a word or two. It might even be the fault of their keyboard.

People ask why is so different from any other western state. This is why. You always hear leftists asking why “white workers vote against their interests.” Anywhere else these workers will always vote themselves a free raise. If that happened here, this failed welfare state would collapse even faster. However, I think that is starting to change for the worst because the parties are being more identical and the manufactured demographic shift is rapidly changing.
