New Anti-CAIR Subway Ad Featuring Burning World Trade Center & Koranic Verses Set to Launch

Activist and blogger Pamela Geller’s subway and bus ads likening Islamic radicals to “savages” have created quite a stir. After battles with the transit authorities in both New York City and Washington, D.C., judges have ruled in Geller’s favor, stating that her group, American Freedom Defense Initiative, has a First Amendment right to post the controversial ads. While the dust is finally settling on the initial campaign, the activist is preparing to launch another, potentially more controversial ad blitz — one that includes an image of the World Trade Center up in flames and two controversial verses from the Koran.

On Sunday, Geller shared her new poster and an explanation of its purpose (it’s a response to a new ad being put out by the Council on American-Islamic Relations) with TheBlaze. Much like Sojourners, Rabbis for Human Rights and United Methodist Women, CAIR also launched an ad decrying Geller’s anti-jihad campaign.

The CAIR ad will be 16 feet by 9 feet and will read, “Show forgiveness, speak for justice, avoid the ignorant.” This verse, which can be found in the Koran, will be placed in the same Washington, D.C. subway stations where Geller’s first ad is currently up.

“We hope to expand this anti-hate campaign in the nation’s capital and throughout the nation,” CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said in a statement. “We need the community’s help to challenge the growing propaganda campaign of anti-Muslim hate in our society with positive messages of what Islam is and who we really are.”

Geller, of course, is ready to take these new ads on with a message of her own aimed back at CAIR.

“Hamas-linked CAIR has unveiled a new ad campaign to ‘counter’ our anti-jihad displays in Washington,” Geller said in an e-mail to TheBlaze. “CAIR’s…ads feature an abrogated verse from the Quran. Apparently they are panicking that people are waking up and questioning the jihadic doctrine, inspired by our historic and widely viewed ad campaign.”

Taking a page from CAIR’s own book, Geller’s group has decided to create a new ad, which features the startling image of the World Trade Center in flames (a plane can be seen heading toward one of the structures) and two verses from the Koran.

Painting a strong contrast from the message of forgiveness that CAIR posted, these verses read, “Slay the idolaters wherever ye find them” and “Those who disbelieve our revelations. We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed. We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment.”

This new ad seems to up the ante on the debate surrounding free speech and blasphemy — issues that have been discussed widely following an anti-Islam film that gained widespread media attention. Geller’s previous ads were much more vague, with each including the following message: “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man.”

In her e-mail to TheBlaze, she further explained the controversial messages and imagery present on her new ad.

“Citing the quran? That’s a brilliant idea. It’s a wonderful way to educate millions of Americans on what is in that book and why so many are waging jihadist wars across the world,” she said.

And for those hoping that these ad campaigns come to an end in the near future, Geller also said that she hopes to make this new campaign part of an ongoing series that showcases each verse she believes calls for jihad. This new ad has already been submitted to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

Muslims, especially the ones we see jumping up and down on television,..are ‘special’ people. If these guys all went to school in the US,…..we would not have enough’ short busses’ to take them.

  If the Jewish Geller chooses to play her propaganda game, don’t be surprised when the CAIR response is a resurrection of the old anti-Jewish propaganda found in mid-20th century Germany. The goose/gander principle will be put in play.

That would have given the US Position and after Position you can then apply Submission. Always superior position before any engagement. All our energy coming from North America that is the single most important strategic concept that has come out of DC since this war began.   Yes I did google violence in the Bible and admitted it and it’s absolutely stupid to take things out of context. Now what’s the context of the verses on the billboard? Can you all answer or are you fine with taking things out of context when it suits you? I don’t know the context of either, and don’t really care. I mean, I’m not seeing anyone claiming taking their religious out of context is stupid. Personally, I think a secular world view is more reasonable than either. If you heard voices telling you to sacrifice your child to God, would you do it?

In order to understand the CAIR ads you need to look up the Arabic word “TAKIA”. Then you will know the truth about what the ads say to Americans! Don’t trust the ads! Takia is an Arab word which means you can lie if you are a Muslim. Especially to non muslims you should never tell the truth.

  You may notice, SS, (since you quote verses from the Old Testament of the Holy Bible, the other part being the NEW Testament/Gospel), that Y’shua (Jesus Christ) declares and gives NEW commandments:
  “Love thy God with all thy heart and strength; keep HIS commandments [10 simple laws as given to Moses]; keep the Sabbath holy; Honour thy mother and father; love thy enemy”. These are just some of the NEW commandments.
  Y’shua also provided for believers a simple yet highly effective prayer (for those who believe and repent) : (known as ‘The Lord’s Prayer’, which begins ‘Our Father who art in heaven’)… ‘Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us’. It ends with [God] For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the Glory. Amen.
  SO with that, SSirhan, you may notice TODAY (and for a long time) that believers in Christ in various countries on earth (including Israel) DO NOT go around amputating limbs, beheading, stoning women/men/children for whatever.   Qur’an 9:73—O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them.
  
  Qur’an 9:111—Surely Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah’s way, so they slay and are slain.
  
  Qur’an 9:123—O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.
  
  Qur’an 47:35—Be not weary and fainthearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost.
  
  Qur’an 48:29—Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves.

Translation;

Forgiveness in Islam means; kill those who do not convert…

Justice means; Sharia Law…

Avoid the ignorant means; kill all non Islam’s to avoid their presence…

  If you really want to help her, make it go viral; from one friend to another. All you have to do is bing or google the pictures; save in your computer, upload on facebook, and turn it into a facebook cover, then it goes viral and the word gets around, just saying, I did it.

Islam is evil and C.A.I.R is the legal arm of that evil. The whole point of Islam is to subjugate and rule the world with all that are considered infidel dead or enslaved.

Pamela Geller understands their aim and their message. Those that find her ads offensive are either Muslim, dhemmi or ignorant.

  If Islam was just a “peaceful religion” I would have much less issue with them, but since they try to mix their religion with our politics and law and are also so intolerant of other religions and freedom of speech, I have absolutely no room for them and ideology.

I only ask because the Catholic church (origin for all Christianity) has killed more people throughout history than any other entity yet we all consider them to be peaceful.   @RedSox718: I did not say I would support them. I said I would have no issue with them. To each his own. Murder is murder (sin), of which, all groups have done their share historically, and the past is behind us. It’s sad we’re still dealing with this kind of behavior now. And yes, I am a Christian (believer), baptized Catholic as a youth and no longer pledge allegiance to any organized church or sect. I just study scripture and mostly mind my own business. I am particularly not fond of death threats as a means to convert someone to a particular religion. I would not make such a threat myself, and it would be a bad day for myself and anyone that attempted to apply such tactics to me personally, be it a direct threat of violence, a tax or any other manipulative means. There is a difference between killing and murder.

People in this country need to see the light. Geller’s has every right to do this under the First Amendment. The words are straight from the Koran.   Words have meaning Encino…at least among those interested in an honest discourse. If anything, she is a “religionist” because as far as I can tell, she is posting these messages in reference to Islam, and doesn’t mention any specific race.
  
  And those of us who appreciate what she is doing are, with some exceptions, celebrating truth, not bigotry.
  
  Of course, this doesn’t fit in with your “open-minded” world-view, so you need to sling hateful words like racist and bigot around in order to make yourself feel better. It doesn’t make for meaningful dialogue, but it is your right to do so.
